Sadly I did try that and I regret not showing it in the video lol. The setting wasn’t there due to no graphics acceleration support. I’m sure there is a way to do it with other tools, but it wasn’t super high on my priorities after spending a week just getting it to boot lol

Actually apple allows emulators on the App Store now so you can technically get macOS on iPhone, However it’s really slow and I’m using very modern hardware (IPhone 15 pro max) so I wouldn’t recommend it

@@metrabyte03Please test this out, it would be an awesome video. I've been thinking of buying a Steam Deck to run NeuralDSP and Ableton. It's much more portable than any laptop and has better specs than anything in its price range, not to mention cheaper than many multi effects units, so it should be ideal, in theory, for music production. Would be awesome to map the Steam Deck buttons to MIDI controls to control plugin parameters in real time. As long as the DPC latency is good with the Valve drivers, it should be able to handle it.
I’m surprised this is even possible at all. I wish you showed trying to hook the deck up to a monitor after you got Mac OS on it to see if it would just work on it and you would have a normal display. Great video yo!! :D I hope you got some good sleep

You have got to respect the tinkerer spirit. Why would you possibly want to do this? Because, why the f*** not? It is the same reason you get your Rumba to swear at you and drive off, or install Doom on an Access Control System... love it.
It ran so slow because graphics acceleration wasn't working. Since it uses a AMD gpu it should be able to be fixed. I've had something similar on my "Asus macbook", after fixing graphics It became around 10x faster in everything.
