  • Duncanville destroyed the U.S high school boys 4x200 national record by a full second at the 2024 UIL 6A State Championships, clocking 1:22.25 for the win. That bettered the previous record of 1:23.25 set by The Woodlands (TX) back in 2018.
Katy Tompkins in second also went under the previous record in 1:22.76.

I ran against the team from White Plains, New york when they were the national record holders and ran on a high school team that ran the old 4x220 yard relay team (1:27.6), so I really appreciate these young men putting the work in to accomplish this deed. this is a D! top three time if not the best in the world right now...

Forget the 4x100, the 4x200 is the real relay race. You got to have real horses to run this bad boy.
Also how in the hell does Atascocita have a record breaking 4x109 team but no 4x200 team?!?! That’s backwards as hell
