really appreciate your message at the end of the video. super important for the health of athletes. we need more of this in the sports world. i'm a grade 6-12 track and field coach and these kids have so much on their shoulders as it is and running is such a mental sport. let the kids be kids and let them love this sport. it's not a job. it's a passion.

He dropped his PB in the 400m .39 seconds in 3 weeks. At that rate of increase, he might be running 42s by the end of the track season.

Unreal talent. Obea Moore ran an incredible 45.14 at age 16, and now THIS. Will he touch/surpass Steve Lewis' insane world junior record which is 43.87 (from 1988)?? He will be an interesting to follow in the upcoming years.

Keep the expectations on a leash. Remember Obea Moore, who Wilson replaced as the world record holder. Obea was great in HS, made it to the Olympic Trials, but high expectations dried him up. Look up Obea's story and let Quincy do his thing on his own.

Then when I saw your comment I found this documentary on Obea Moore and I'm watching it now. So thanks for the comment. Fascinating stuff, the twists and turns of major athletes. Quincy is literally a Phenom, like Bo, Wilt, MJ etc. He has no problem with the spotlight. I don't think it's a stretch to say he's going to go sub 44 before he turns 17. 42.99 and beyond is not far off. He's going to do to the 400 what Sydney did to the 400h.
