I hope you see this message that’s incredible because I repaired a CORGI John Claire special 1974 box similar to that the other day with strong glue and steam from the iron that’s amazing
I watched the whole video after coming here looking for something specific, lol. Great job! It was really cool to see how this process works. I would have neved thought a box in that condition could have been even remotely salvaged. This makes me wonder about a particular white cardboard CD sleeve I have which has a coffee drop stain on it. Should I give one of those drawing cleaning pads a try, or do you think there might be a better approach for that kind of stain? Thanks again for posting this video. I really learned a lot watching it purely out of curiosity!
You could try "Absorene" . I've never used it, but I heard its use on paper cleaning. Otherwise, try a white plastic eraser, working it gently over the paper.
Some of these tools I've had for years, the best I can track back to is it was from a wax carving set. It's stainless steel, and they're not too expensive in sets or individually. Here's an eBay affiliate link, and I'm including this link in the video description as well. Thanks for watching and for the question 👍 bit.ly/eBayWaxTool
I need some help repairing vintage, cardboard, Barbie houses that have some water damage. Some of the graphics have come loose and I need to know what product to use to re-apply them. Tank you!
In the long run acetone will do more damage than it helped. Lighter fluid is way less invasive and will also not show in years to come. In the US you can also get goo gone or other adhesive remover that won't damage the box.
hi do you know how to restore repair cut marks on box i accidently unpacked my game console box with a craft knife and cut the box a few times please can you help thanks
Can you tell me what adhesive you are using to repair the rips and tears? I have a vintage costume box I have rips to fix and linen tape will def be a life saver but I also want to glue down some of the edges that are still going to be sticking up. Thanks!! This is the best video!
Thanks for watching! The white glue is Polyvinyl Acetate. Many makers of it, what's important is just don't use wood glue (dries with a yellow tint) or clear versions (can turn shiny). It will not yellow over time.

You did a great job preserving this vintage box.
These methods will be great for my old Dungeons & Dragons collection. They are becoming valuable.
That sounds cool, I've been seeing and reading a lot more activity recently on the D&D topics. Hope the episode helps
Great work. Looks awesome. Thanks for sharing Brother 😀 👍 ♥️ 🇺🇸🇨🇦🎉🎉🎉👏👏🎉🎉🎉🎉💯💯💯💯

Great job on restoring the box, the SMDM and Bionic Woman toy lines were awesome, I've restored a few figures myself. Great video
One of my favorite accessories the critical assessment arms (a few months ago I got a very large lot of arms galore).
Definitely a cornerstone set from the Kenner SMDM line of toys 👍

First time i have watched your channel & love it. What is the blue plastic thing you used under the flap please to help flatten down that edge?
3M squeegee/hand applicator is the technical name, I use it as a burnisher for large surface areas. Thanks for watching and checking out my channel!
Reminds me of toy story 2 lol
I can’t find any of drawing cleaning pad in my country, can you recommend something to use and get similar result?

What kind of burnishing tool is that? I'm having trouble finding one.

How do you get the color back on the cardboard??
What was that painting stuff for? Looked like it repaired the sides and ripped parts of the toy box
Acetone is an OK choice but refillable lighter fluid works better.
