I had only ever saw this set in the catalogs....so this video was PERFECT! Thanks for ALL THE DETAILS!!! Another great video,Tim!!!!
Sure thing Doug, glad you enjoyed! 🤗
I had them, they were super cool but I always wanted the legs. They might've been even cooler.
That battery cover is such an elegant solution! It makes one wonder why Kenner hadn't done something like that themselves, especially since they were doing the cardstock insert for the oxygen supply arm and clearly knew these clear parts needed a bit of dressing up
Thanks for the compliment 😊 Yeah, that's why this arm was cool and annoying as a kid. Maybe Kenner was thinking it was just going to be covered by the arm skin? But yes, a little dressing up would have been a nice touch! Thanks for watching
That battery wrap is slick.
Critical Assignment Arms Love Them! A few years ago I purchased a sizable lot of arms (30+).
Needless to say quite a few of the Laser Arms were still working which is a huge plus! (they needed new batteries naturally).
That's quite a few arms! How were the oxygen masks? Thanks for watching 👍
I like the sticker for the battery very smart
I had these, my Oxygen actually did not have a mask. we did contact Kenner I can not remember the outcome. That "Battery Cover" is ingenious...sell them for $2...I bet more fans than I would buy them. GREAT POST!!!!!
Thanks for sharing and watching the episode! I wonder how Kenner came through back then about the missing mask, but it sounds like fortunately it didn't totally ruin things for you.👏
One of my favorite toys as a kid.
Thanks for the memories.
WOW! I didn't know all that was available!
Aw, this brings back so many memories! ❤️❤️❤️
Was looking forward to watching this one and it didn't disappoint. Another great video 👍🤘
I had these !! ❤❤❤
Great review Tim. Totally enjoyed this video. Now I need one!!😀👍♥️🇺🇸🇨🇦🎉🎉🎉🎉👏👏👏👏🎉🎉🎉🎉💯💯💯💯💯
All these add on sets were pretty cool, thanks for watching!
Got these for Xmas the year after I got my Steve. I LOVED them! I will say though, the laser arm never worked all that great and eventually just broke from trying to get it to work properly. I never knew about the legs because I can assure you I would've had them. :P
I remember an issue with the laser arm too! Bending that hand back and back. Switching batteries, everything trying to get it to work better as a kid. I'm glad it brought back some good memories and thanks for watching!
Smart minds think alike.
I have two of the three. Missing the Sonic Neutralizer.
Thanks to eBay, there's hope! Thanks for watching-
@@ToyTinkerTim Yeah, they're pretty easy to find. Mine came with another lot as sort of a bonus, so I'm not complaining.
I had this set of arms. Bought with my own money as a kid
That's cool, even better 😎
I love the whole line, but it is difficult to collect even the common stuff in my area without going to Ebay, and being on a fixed income makes that option difficult.....
That's why I usually get the less than perfect items and fix them up. Those minty ones are way out of my price range too. Thanks for watching
Hi, where did you get the skin Rubber for these arms?
Thanks, me likey
Thanks for the tips. I removed my rubber mask from my sealed package just in time apparently. I soaked it in Armol All and was able to get it back to normal. Tim can you please show us some tips on replacing the rubber on the arms like you did on yours? The ones on mine have never been rolled down and naturally they are stuck in that position.
Good save on that mask! Even though they were made of a material that's still quite flexible, they kinda hold a crunched up shape from storage. The arm skins are really toast on these though. I'm trying some different formulas and processes to make mine, eventually I'd offer them for sale. It's been quite the process.
Great episode. I tried everything you showed me in the video, but Steve’s laser arm still won’t light up. Where can I get replacement bulbs? The search is driving me up the wall. Can’t find anything. Do you have a source? Thank you.
AA why they didn’t have AAA and 77
Where can i get replacement skins? Thanks
$5.44 The price points were affordable.
