Good looking harness, for future reference they make a hear resistant piping you could put over the problem area that will prevent those wires from getting melted

I rebuilt this one, the one from the junk yard was no good. Unless it’s a newer vehicle or you can find a good one in the junk/salvage yards, pretty much have to repair the original.

Hey there. Do you have any examples or videos of the process to install it? Can’t find anything. Dealer wants $1100

I find it easiest to fish all of the transmission plugs from the top side of the engine compartment down between the firewall and and exhaust on the passenger side while a helper underneath helps guide. Once you’ve done it a couple times it takes about 15 minutes to install but only 10 to remove. Hope this helps amigo.

Actually talked to the owner of the vehicle yesterday at a different shop as he was having his ac serviced and he said no problems and he’s happy as a bug in a rug 🤣

What was the car doing due to the harness being melted ?

@@isaacballard-crain39having the same issue as this, the PCM loses power and the dash lights go crazy. Trans loses shift logic and goes into limp mode. If the issue is intermittent, then barely drive able. If not, then PCM will be shorted and PATS will not allow the motor to crank.
