Maybe anyone who is the opposite of Batman. Not in good shape and not rich. With all that intelligence and money you'd think he'd research impact/puncture/bullet proof armor or something akin to the black panther suit. No reason he shouldn't be trying to run out at night as durable as superman. Or have suits like ironman that can be used essentially as a Banebuster like there is a Hulk buster suit.

Batman war on crime is poverty.
Something similar happened to the Punisher in Jason Aarons run of Punisher Max, by the time he was sixty, it was torture for him just getting out of bed, his legs would go numb at random times, his fist would creak so bad it hurt and so on and so on. It’s also canon that he relies heavily on painkillers.
In Batman Beyond, Batman is dying from liver failure at one point due to “pain killer abuse” to keep him going during his Batman career.
That and abuse of terrible Anibal steroids and other supplements that he's been using for all his life no mere human model, mortal was not meant to do this for all eternity itleast 28 years sure but no more!
Wasn't that in a comic too where he tried to play off the pain as "tolerable?"
That's not really consistent, though. Sometimes, he's seen regularly relying on painkillers. In other issues, he's outright stated he hardly ever uses them because of their addictive and mind-altering qualities.
Being Alfred is no treat either since he does the most work to maintain Batman's equipment and likely handles his nutritional requirements and has had to teach himself extremely complex medical procedures in order to prevent Bruce from needing to go to a hospital, where his injuries might provide a clue to his identity.
"Over the years and in various stories, Alfred is said to have had many other jobs prior to becoming Batman's butler, including actor, intelligence agent, medic in the Royal Air Force and member of the Royal Marines, British Secret Service and the British Army's Special Air Service."
Bring. Alfred. Back.
He doesn't have to know "extremely complex medical procedures". He only has to know some suturing. He's not a medic. Bats needs to go to the hospital if anything goes too wrong. That's why he has a special suit. Also, he can justify many of his wounds with his training methods.

I mean, it's what the cross country coaches try to push everyone towards.

It's canon that Bruce has had all his injuries healed several times that I can think of. Whether it's through falling into a Lazarus pit, that thing similar to a Lazarus pit but without the bad side effects located in Nanda Parbat iirc etc. Really though Bruce should have tech that keeps him in top physical health without the need for mystical healing waters when you look at his resources and what's possible in the DC universe. But obviously writers like to push the gruelling aspect of being a human vigilante.
It's what sells and DC's profits are what keeps Gotham alive.
Bro you’re missing the point that money alone cannot heal this many injuries. That’s why after some years of breaking bones and scars, I dip in these healing chambers well provide the bat with a fresh structural body
Which is why "realistically" The Batman would have a very short career. 1-4 years. That would be with severe injuries that took time to heal. As in months. Intermittent active time about half that. Makes the Dark Knight trilogy seem a bit less removed from fantasy. It took him about one year to clean up Gotham after 7 years of traveling the world and training (organized crime in hiding, prisons filled with convicts), and at the end of Dark Knight, he retired. Came out of retirement as a cripple (magic brace suit = fixed), 8 years later (spine broken; miraculous recovery, magic suit?) for one last caper.
But if he was "The World's Greatest Detective" (not the World's Greatest Non Super Powered Being) who also happened to be reasonably physically capable, as opposed to someone who trains harder than the best professional athletes in the world, and outperforms every non super powered person with "micro sleeping" and no performance enhancing drugs, maybe 10-20 years. Closer to a typical combat arms military career, which end in staffing desk jobs, not field jobs.
But hey: comic books. Inspirational heroes. Not aspirational. They're great, but trying to shoehorn them into reality...
Two things: 1) Spandex is sexy, but for God's sake get some freaking armor incorporated into your suit. Being stabbed by an umbrella is no way to go.
2) Batman regularly hobnobs with aliens with access to futuristic technology, and literal gods, demi-gods, and magic users. Do you think maybe they might get him some advanced medical treatment for the many bat-boo-boos he has accumulated over the years? Bonus point: Because of all the incredible adventures he's had over the years, being exposed to weird tech and magic, is it possible that Batman is no longer merely human but has become a meta-human? If not, why not? Think how much more effective he would be if that Krytponian Drug he was taking to match Superman could have been available throughout his career...
1. I definitely agree with the armour one since even in the live action movies where they try to be more realistic, Batman has some sort of bulletproof armour
2. I'm guessing with the drug you're talking about injustice, that was an alternate universe and Batman only made it because he was motivated from Superman becoming a director
Post Crisis Batman fell in a Lazarus Pit and I remuneration in that comic it said it dragged him by 10yrs
For the first one, I really do believe that Arkham Knight Batman is one of the best iterations of him, that's mostly what I follow.
I'm pretty sure he doesn't use spandex anymore, at least not as much in this age.
@chillobsidian9592 arkham batman has the best suit. It hard to watch a show like young justice and see their super uniforms get cut to ribbons with a knife. Even swat teams have better protection than robins or Bruce. It makes little sense.
Also, why wouldn't he have a gas mask as part of his suit by now? He has 3 villains, Ivy, scarecrow and joker using has based weapons every week.
@matthewallen2273 That's what I've always found so funny😂
He has plans to beat up all of his friends and even himself but he doesn't prepare for his own villains🤣

not even being spiderman would be so nice, imagine being BATMAN
On the medical part: fractures not healed properly (the hand for example) lead to inability to move the bones correctly in the best case, or a necrosis in the worst; also would make workouts more difficult and that could lead to more injuries upon the already existing ones making perfect healing impossible.
On the sleeping part: i'm one who adopte the micro sleeping : i sleep 4/5 hours at night and from 30 mins to 1 hour and half in the afternoon from monday to saturday; in sunday i sleep without limit usually about 10 hours; i need that day of unlimited sleep or my body and mind would fall into pieces. I really kinda wished they'd incorporated two plot devices for Batman. Some sort of mechanism to facilitate healing like a Lazarus pit and hyperthymesia (think super photographic memory).
The first to make his physical performance less ridiculous and the second to explain him not getting over the death of his parents. By reliving that memory every day in great detail it would explain his obsession with crime fighting.
I would be using those Lazarus pits.
