Amos having to play the role of a sin eater is so sad but so honorable as well.

@@MAL1GNANT more literally, an old superstition that someone could have their sins taken from them and placed upon another person. This person usually did so by ritually eating a piece of bread over the body of the sinner, hence 'sin eater'.
Sin Eaters were pretty reviled in their communities.

Prax taught Amos how to trust, leading to probably the most moving murder I've ever seen.

I love how when Holden forces Jules-Pierre to his knees in front of Avasarala, she is wearing Julie's Razorback suit.

That must have been a _very_ weird moment for Mao, given that he had no real way of knowing that she came there on the Razorback. To him it just looks like she stole his dead daughter's clothes just to mess with him

Thanks to Amos, Prax was reunited with his daughter.
Thanks to Amos, he's still the man who was her father.
    Bobbie got her rematch.
Naomi learned to put her faith in the crew.
    Great finale for book 2.

Nice catch noticing the parallel between Bobbie’s arm wrestling scene from S2 and her kill shot to the hybrid! Such a great callback.

5:34 re: anna & errinwright being the angel and evil on his shoulders: there was that scene in an earlier episode where they argue at dinner, and it was a very deliberate choice by the costumers to put anna in white, errinwright in black, and the secretary-general in a mix of white and black

Great reaction to my favorite episode and favorite scene in all of The Expanse! Most people love " I am that guy!" moment and rightfully so. But to be honest my favorite is just a few seconds before. A moment when Amos made a decision knowing that Prax would be forever changed if he killed Strickland. So Amos being the reluctant damaged hero he is by taking Prax's place to once again be the necessary monster to save his best friend in the whole world's soul... telling Prax " You're not that guy, you're not that guy ." 😭😭
Looking forward to the next one!

5:57 errinwright is a terrible person who did a lot of horrible stuff, but he was 100% right about the secretary-general and the kind of person _he_ is

Honestly might be one of the best TV episodes ever. It's certainly one of my favourites! Up next is probably my favourite story arc of the show though!
The part from "This is Amos. He's my best friend in the whole world... to "I Am That Guy" never fails to break me. Cotyar's sacrifice too.
The look on Amos's face when Prax calls him his best friend is wild. Like he couldn't even comprehend that he could be someone's friend after all he's been through and who he's become.

This show never fails its finales. I wait anxiously to see how reactors respond to this episode.
Amos kept his eyes on Prax when they apprehended Strickland. If Prax had not signaled that Strickland should die, Amos would likely not have killed him.
Yes, like when Bobbie had to arm-wrestle the suit. There are no unnecessary scenes in this saga. "I am that guy" has got to be one of the most predictable lines in television history. Predictable dialog is usually a sign of poor writing, but in this case the writers had so prompted the anticipation of the audience that we would have been disappointed if Amos hadn't said it.
There is discussion as to why Proto-Katoa looks upward at that moment. I think it's because he received the "Up" signal from the Protomolecule mother lode. Many others (and I think it's the writers' opinion) that there was still enough of Katoa left to be awed by being in the open. There certainly seemed to be some of Katoa left. The hybrid's movements always seemed tentative, and there was still human brain stem left in the creature...it splattered blood when Bobbie shot it.

Best TV show, ever, is the proper review. As much as you loved it, you will now find yourself oddly repulsed by anything else on your TV. You've had the very best, so there is not much point in looking further.

@@Yesquire0 I mean it all depends on the persons preferences I still have shows I prefer more tbh but this easily is up there now as one of my favourites and the best of its genre for me! Has left a void since finishing for sure tho haha
