  • A quick short video on how to shoot people inside trenches or using cover, use the aiming system to get off that perfect shot.
Also this video features a distinct lack of fluff and is straight to the point! Who can stand those 10 minute tutorials for something that takes seconds to do.

This is such a revelation to me. I have hundreds of hours in Foxhole and I just found out how they smoked me in my sweet little ditch.

This is the whole point of what I am doing. Just quick to the point little snippets of info that the game does a bad job of explaining. Glad it helped!

So two core things when it comes to aiming at different elevations come into play.
Elevation - Indicated by that yellow line. (If its falling down from the crosshairs you're aiming above the target/If its rising up from the crosshairs your aiming below the target)
Impact Point - Indicated by that white dot in the middle of your fire line. (Impact point is where your shot is projected to land, if aiming into trenches you will often see the impact point on the ground in front of where your aiming).
THE KEY to hitting the target is matching elevation (Yellow line is gone or super tiny) and that the impact point is on the target.
    * You will see in every instance where he missed... either there was a yellow line; indicating he was above the target, or the impact point was not on the target.
    * You will see in every instance where he hit... there was no yellow line; indicating he was on the same elevation as the target, and that the impact point was on target.

Probably would have maintained the pop to need 3 servers if putting the crosshair on a target actually adjusted vertical aim TO the target.

Thank you. I just recently got so pissed at dying like 12 seconds ago I had to look this up. I got the drop on the guy, started shooting, he just turned around and got me first. This should help me thanks.

If you have a flat wall like the wall of a trench behind your target you can run your crosshair up and down the wall to get any angle you desire, the game works like a red dot sight from you to your crosshair, you will notice this most when you put your crosshair on a building roof and your character is looking up into the sky xD

also moving your crosshair from the ground to a roof is how you nod emote kek

Same strategy for shooting RPGs and Tanks??

RPGs are quite a bit different, they are weird about their range and where the rocket will actually hit, I will go over those a bit in another video. And tanks I will definitely be covering.

Rpgs hit based on the white line. If you see the line turn red, that’s where it lands, but if you see it continue white, it has a chance of continuing past the target.
Rule of thumb is where the crosshair line goes red = where it hits

Uhhh... I think this video is misleading and incomplete if you don't also cover the magic deflection field that is a cover bonus.
