I'm a member of the Warden 6th, part of the CSU coalition partially responsible for the hold of the west. You wouldn't believe how satisfying it was to hear you keep flashing over there and saying "not much happened over there", cuz that means we did our jobs :D
Yes you did! Nicely done holding the west down! We could not get through at all! GGs! I need someone for the next recap to come tell me more stories about these slower fronts to know what is going on with defenses and these good holds so I can talk about them more :D
You may have noticed that Collie gunboats have more range than any vehicle or rifle that Wardens can make at this stage of the war. The Collie APCs can mount weapons, but the Warden duckie cannot. Treasury is fun, but Wardens will lose it to colonial naval bombardment - we do every war we take it. The only question is whether it is due to gunboats killing the bridge, collie subs shelling the town hall, or destroyers - and the naval gun does not shoot destroyers. Why not use our own gunboats you may ask? Because we do not have a seaport in that hex, so we cannot store them when not in use. Enjoy Treasury, but make no mistake, Collies will blast us off that rock.
A ton of Wardens decided to play Colonial last war and so initially the population was way one-sides favoring the Collies, but that was countered by the built-in balance mechanics. Then a ton of new players joined, saw Collies redded out, and so they all joined Warden. Now Wardens was mostly new players who had no idea what they were doing and their influx made the population balance out, meaning Collies and Wardens had the same pop and respawn timers, but the Collies had wayyyy more experience.
That's what I heard as well. Once those new players get experienced and if they become loyalist then the Wardens will be a strong force! Make sure you are teaching those new players!
@@RustyBear majority of new players start on warden because they look really cool. Once they learn the game after a few wars they’ll typically swap to the other side to get a feel from the other faction. From what I’ve experienced being a veteran since war 100 the wars have continuously gotten shorter and shorter. Obviously there are outliers, but collies have much better early game than wardens, and so usually when collies have veteran squads running the war they can gain enough ground to where the warden mid game can’t retake what was already lost in the first few days. That’s just my experience though.
Hearing the words "this would last the remaining six days of the war" in regards to mercy's wish is heartwarming, Us wardens held onto that territory for dear life, had so much fun there
Your Videos really got me invested in Foxhole. I dont play, but I love the storys it contains. The little ones, as well as the bigger Picture. Videos like this one are one of my favorites. I'd love to see more 'state of the war' and War recap videos. Keep up the great work!
That’s awesome to hear! I treat Eve the same way you do Foxhole. Love hearing Eve stories but don’t play. And I’ll plan on doing them more and making them better! This is only my second one and I can tell I still have a lot of room to improve. Thanks for your feedback!
Dude i was skeptical a first and going on the same videos such as this. but best 20 bucks ever spent for a game. It can be a bit hectic at first but just start hauling loot back to the supply boxes for those that do know what to do and the rest will follow shortly. monkey see monkey do ^^
@@RobertLovesGames your and others' videos on Foxhole made ME buy the game in war 116! As a newbie, all i can say is DAMN THE TRAITORS, GLORY TO CAOIVA!
This was my first war, and it was SUPER fun, despite us losing hard😂 It was really fun getting to know all about the game, and the people in here are really great, the battle for the Blaise River was such a back and forth!
Glad to hear that! Welcome to Foxhole :D And sometimes losing and doing last stands can be the best experiences in the game! Feel free to DM me on discord if you ever have any questions or need help with anything!
Me and my friends built an ammo factory north of Kirnknell in Viper's Pit. We then proceeded to pump out several thousand shells. At one point we started going to the front taking the empty flat beds loading them, and parking them loaded next to the base. So people could just leave an empty flatbed and take a loaded one for convenience. After we did that for a bit several regiments came over and started cooking shells, using our facility, building upon it, or just dropping off loaded pallets. It did its purpose as a public frontline/convenient ammo facility. I had several people high up in a few different regiments thank us for setting it up because it played a noticeable role in taking most of Reaching Trail. It was a fun war. I personally refined about 12k HEmats and in turn cooked about 12k 120 shells. It wouldn't have been possible though without the help of others bringing HE to cook. Because by the end we sent out well over 12k shells.
I wouldn't feel too bad. My first war was mid way through 109 which was another Collie victory. Don't worry about the overall state of the war, just focus on your sector.
the boys at Callahan's Pass put in some serious work, and that hex holds special value to me now (i joined in war 116) as i played a lot there (including the first time i partnered up with people in a halftrack!)
I started foxhole with war 116, callahan's was my first ever deployment, and good lord i fell in love with this game, i picked up a rifle went shooting, then came across some aussie guys and hoppend into trucks and went and did some basic logi, both which i wasnt good at, then someone told me the best way to start is to grab bandages amd plasma and treat every one, this was the point when this game took my life from me, i was on this game for every breathing second of my life, i love being a medic and thats what i still do whenever i log back in. Thanks to your video and frert i found this lovely game.
The reason for pop difference is a ton of usually-warden regiments decided to do a vacation on the collie side at the same time, because they wanted to play with Spathas due to their disproportionate strength. The war ended too quickly to use Spathas so in W117 a lot of them are staying Colonial again.
They are no longer warden regiments. Collie equipment is simply better, because whatever it does well, Collie versions get something extra on top. Like weapons on APCs, a 120mm gun on their submarine, and firing tremolas from their Luniaires (Ospreys used to be able to do that, but it got removed). So this is not a regiment thing - VETERANS are going Collie, because they know the gear is better and they are sick of being stomped. War 117 has privates trying to fight Maj Gen ranks, with the predictable and catastrophic early loss of the Wardens key Fading Lights refinery.
CCF took a daring submarine raid as soon as the large ships were unlocked this war. A 10-hex sortie from Kalokai all the way to Callum's targeting a dry dock there. The crew of the boat sat underneath warden logi ships for hours playing poker waiting for the dry dock to begin building something. Sadly a combination of steam friend's list shenanigans and an intel leak lead to the submarine unable to finish destroying the dock and needing to escape. Quite a dramatic and unique experience for sure!
Nice! To bad about the drydock. I still have yet to do a full on sub experience. They just seem like they take so much time :D Thanks for sharing that!
I was the QRF guy who grabbed an ATR and sprinted up there to start poking holes in your sub. You guys were actually primarily picked up by a watchtower and logi players in the area noticed. We continued to get pretty accurate pings on your location until you were out of callums.
The TLDR is that you mentioned what Colonial Regiments did what in nearly every hex (yes I know you went Collie this war but still), but could only name Warden regiments in Clanshead and Tine. As a primarily Colonial player that went Warden, there was virtually no organized Regiment action on fronts, combat or logi-wise. Lots of No Tags and new players doing all the heavy lifting for Wardens, which made vets even more likely to step away. The clearest Warden break war I've seen in years.
Most of the collie efforts were immensely bolstered by the 420st who just sucked up all of the new collie players like a vacuum. Both sides were mainly just new players and randos doing their own thing, but since Collies managed to easily take the west it was a steamroll since the wardens were immedialy down a lot of valuable land that collies built massive bases on
@@domaxltv I mean ya there were active Collie regiments including 420. Warden vets just didnt log in. New players are always funneled to the low pop side due to "team is full" on faction choice screen. Warden lines were primarily these new players, with little organized regimental support. The reason that 'valuable land' was lost was because Warden vets didnt log in to defend it day one.
@@WildHawk41 Warden day one just isnt fun, infantry-wise. Bolt-action rifle w/ an okay grenade vs semi-auto and a way better nade. I haven't played in half a year (playing other stuff that isn't too time-consuming) but when I played warden w/ my regi, we focus mainly on getting stockpiles started, figuring out our home region for the war, facility location, etc. Then we go from there to help our neighboring areas, and nearby frontline. Making sure frontline town hall has shells for the mortar house(s), etc. If there was a chance to flank a town, cut logi, we'd have some members help that cause that wanted to. Cooperation is how you win (even with lower pop). If the warden clans aren't there and newbies are too new to form up then obviously wardens are gonna lose. Whether its because of balance (for example, I remember that the spatha reloads faster than an irl tank and was more difficult to destroy after changes at the beginning of the year, though idk if that was changed back but wardens were upset w/ it), people taking breaks (like me), time of year (its just turning fall now so more people should be returning), game getting stale, people going collie for various reasons, etc wardens just don't want to play as hard right now. One thing I wish the game did was the more the devs introduce more new stuff, the more early-war tech is already teched from the beginning. It's ironic they design the game and its updates for multiple months long wars but they've been rather short lately, so having more stuff unlocked from the get go shouldn't matter so much.
lol! It just might be! Not looking great for Wardens on the west this war. And yea I understand that. Has to be frustrating to be a Warden right now honestly. Kind of wish my faction rotation was on the Warden side right now to help out.
good fight at buckler´s sound, even though some big clans coordinated a massive push you didn´t gave in a bit, i remember being like 45 mins shelling your northern safe house. we were carried by the chinese, those guys know how to do trench warfare thats for sure, without them that front would have held a lot lot longer (switched to play with a friend)
One important thing that really stuck out to me, having just returned from a long break to play out this entire war from day 1, was how efficient Collie logi and builders were. I learned building from some wizened souls on the frontlines, and I spent the entire war infantry fighting pushing fronts inch by inch, and then building defenses with thousands of bmats per hour. I must have made a few hundred pillboxes, watch towers, and trenches in the 30 hours I played during the war. Every time we took territory, builders would make a bunker system defending the area with pillboxes supporting wherever the infantry were meeting resistance. It was awesome.
Great recap as always Robert! War 116 was almost my first war, but I logged on 10mins after it ended. Now I'm with the Colonial 92nd Regiment and warring with everyone here in 117! This game is top tier and so are your videos
Man, your videos are the reason that I now have Foxhole wishlisted in hopes of a sale relatively soon. Love watching your updates of happenings in wars, and hope to join someday soon!
Nice! That's awesome to hear! Should be on sale either in October or November. Feel free to DM me on discord if you ever have any questions before you get the game or if you need help learning the game when you do get it!
A big break war for the wardens. War 115 defence took it out of most of us and there was no way i was going to consider playing 116 after all the hours i pumped into 115
I played Foxhole due to your videos and this had been my first war. I participated in the defense of slipgate all the way to Tine and it was fun! Although we lost in the end, cant wait to play more in War 117.
That's awesome to hear! Glad to hear you had a good time! Defending and last stands can be a lot of fun even if you are losing. Feel free to DM me on discord if you have any questions about the game or if you need help with anything!
Was lucky to stumble upon this channel. I had never heard of this game before, but it sounds so unique and interesting. Probably can't contribute much but sounds like fun to be of a war effort
Nice! Sounds like the same way I stumbled on it 4 years ago :D And it's basically the only game in its niche. Everyone can contribute something to the war effort no matter how small it may seem :D Feel free to DM me on discord if you ever have any questions about the game!
This was my first war. I joined just at the tail ends of war 116 on the wardens side. And during me trying to learn the game a regiment called Cheez just kind of invited me after I accidently tagged along on a operation they had planed. I'm still with them during this new war and I plan to stay with them and keep playing the game. I'm on the wardens side again. I had a lot of fun and your videos help me learn the game a lot thank you.
lol! Nice! Welcome to Foxhole! As I have said in other videos being on the losing side and making last stands can be some of the best experiences in Foxhole!
oh yeah, same over here, the last 2 days i was purely joining the biggest carnage i could get my hands on and fought tooth n nail for every cm of terrain. with a last stand mindset, we actually pushed them off 2 out of the 3 big battles i participated in (even tho the next morning collies reclaimed it) the last being tine. the spirit did not decay a bit even after the loss of the town hall, almost rebuilt it one time... logged off when i was getting dizzy from sleep deprivation hahahahaha nice to hear that we managed to destroy the town hall couple of times after that :D
@@billyboy3012 Ended September 13th at 9pm(Friday). War 117 started Sunday at 1pm. 40 hours. So I guess since I did the math anyway, it's closer to 1.5 days(36 hours) than it is to "2 days for sure" (48 hours). I'll take my commends now.
I was basically only fighting in godcrofts that war. It was a slow and took a lot of energy but more and more people joined in everyday so we took more and more islands till we took Isaias. Was a great fight. GG. Great video again
I didn't consciously notice that we were so lacking in defensive construction during that war, but for some reason I have felt compelled in 117 to spontaneously build, upgrade and repair 10X more than usual and now I know why.
That's awesome to hear! I've started to get into building a lot more the last few wars as well. Once you get good at building and notice what you are missing on fronts you just want to take the time to get the proper defenses up.
“It’s called mercy’s wish because it makes you wish for mercy” -random soldier I fought with when trying to take mercy’s wish 10/10 would wanna be traumatized again
really love these war news reports, the style of graphics and report you give, really helps summarise how this played out, as someone really interested in this game, but will never be able to play it, its a brilliant overview. idea....would love if in future wars you can include some recorded interviews maybe of frontline and Logi forces supporting these combats about their experiences in key/decisive actions that take place? Great stuff 👍
Glad to hear that! I have had people suggest that a few times. I just need to find more time to do the interviews and find the right people for them. That would be really cool though! Thanks for the suggestion and kind words!
The night before arty was teched I spent the entire night until sunrise holding the bridge at Lathair (Warden side). It was a crucial point because we lacked manpower during the nights and we couldn't afford to lose the concrete bunkers and the seaport at Ulster Falls.
(Colonial) Unaligned to any reg, I spent the whole war doing medic work, which was new to me. I was on the dam when we took it and the island assault in godscroft, but spent 90% of the war fighting in the linn of mercy, going back and forth over 3 bridges. A pretty quiet front, numbers-wise, but the fighting grind was absolutely relentless, and we took, lost and retook Lathair more times than I could count, first with guns, then artillery, and tanks in the last days. Saw a lot of the same people fighting day after day for the same area, was great to get to know the locals and make war-long friends.
That sounds awesome! I need to do more medic work. And yea that's why I normally stay in the same hexes for most of a war. You get to know people a lot better. Thanks for sharing all that!
Being a Warden in Godcrofts was awesome in doing defending and offensive pushes! Me and and my regi (147th) were there the whole war and defended it to the last stand along with OSU. I’m proud we held onto it for a long time considering how short this war was!
I love this game so much! So many different outcomes so strategic all these battalions and regiments setting up different battle plans to dominate the map… So bad ass man 😣
I was supplying the northern fount for the warden's side during this war... until we lost all of clanshead valley, where I promptly forgot about foxhole for the 297th time
My first war, joined collies and found the 69th, I was actually a gunner in the Kirknell tankette op, we had around 15 and it was great experience for a lot of new players like me that joined the 69th. Now the 69th have switched to wardens and as we call it "The 69th's evil brother" we are the 96th. See you guys on the battlefield!
War 116 was the First war i‘ve joined it really went a lot quicker than what my teammates told me Foxhole War’s normally last Couldn’t believe them. Thanks to your Video i now know that my First war i just joined just was one of the quickest war’s thank you very much for that
As a warden I don’t see us winning a war for a long time. The burn out is real, on our side at least. Lots of vets are either going collie or taking extended breaks. My regi is more or less taking a break until the next major update. Most of the time when I fought in 116 it felt like we were way out popped on pretty much every front.
No doubt yall were way out manned. I love getting to fight yall in Kirknel and Reaching trail though it was some epic fights for sure. With respect from the 69th o7
@@rainman7140 4-1 may be pushing it I would say abut 15-20% population imbalance. That just a guess based off previous imbalanced wars. Skill wise though complete outclassed. That’s not saying wardens aren’t skilled but a large portion of warden population seemed to be newer players OCDT and lower. That and a lot of Regis swapping to colonial.
I did not join this war since war 115 was so brutally demoralizing after a long stalemate only to be defeated. So I decided to take a break. I kept watching everyday in foxhole stats, and everyday the collies pushed and pushed, and it seems like the wardens have no initiative at all It was a bit sad, but I am hopeful that the next wars will be more victorious
That's honestly a good call to take a break. Glad you did that for yourself and recognized that instead of pushing yourself to far for war 116 and then end up hating the game like some players do. I'm hopeful as well that the Wardens can turn this war 117 around and we don't have something similar to 116. I don't think we have seen two short wars in a row for several years. If 117 is a short war as well then there is a bigger issue that's going on that needs to be solved. Thanks for your thoughts on this!
Enjoy it! Id recommend trying both factions in your first 2 wars to see how both sides fight. In general colonials are better at early war, wardens get a power spike mid war, and both factions are (ideally) equal in the end war. Collies have some really mass produceable tanks like the falchion, while wardens get more specialized ones like the Noble Widow tank destroyer.
I want to give a shout out to Stema because in the early days of the war we basically roleplayed the punics war trying to constantly bring war barges against the warden islands, it took 2-3 days but eventually we managed to get all the islands and secure the sector, best naval fight I had in a while
In the final hour of the war a large amount of wardens naval invaded godscroft and would have taken it, but like 100 collies were on the home island in que to join the battle for tine and dog piled on the blueberries lol
I spent my whole war fighting in Godcrofts and let me tell you, the Colonials werent nearly as aggressive there as they were everywhere else. It was at least an hour between each landing and the majority of them were fought off in less than a half hour. The first one you mentioned though was ummm, lets just say it was difficult. I spent quite a bit of time on Argosa(the smallest island in Godcrofts) There are a few times that we would have lost it if they had advanced only a few more feet. Once they got armored cars there was almost always one on the beach. After they destroyed our bunkers with the gunboats they could have taken us all out with the armored car in seconds.(We think they thought we had anti armor[We had literally none]the colonial gun boats had us cut off from any logi support) All in all it was a great war though. Great coverage of it.
Me and a friend were running an MG team in Kirknell. The line kept moving so quick that we often got deployed, then had to pick up and advance again before going through a single box before getting to the westside of the city where we were just kinda at a standstill before me and my friend hopped off.
The linn of mercy was absolutely cancer this war. Us collies in Fort Duncan kept on getting bombarded by Warden artillery and the bridge fights were brutal. We eventually finally managed to push them back to Lathair like a day before the war ended. The end was truly symbolic, with Warden bombardments and offensives over the bridge, but in the end, we held the line.
Linn of Mercy is always rough from my experience. I don't honestly go there very often because it moves so slow and is a back and forth for 90% of the war.
*learns a few regi that I haven't heard and new foxhole term Costco run, learn some battle that I wasn't there to experience* Yep another awesome video.
This was my first war and i was with the wardens joined MMVC and had a blast with the four man frigate crew that blow up the colonial bunker so many times
That's good to know! The report the player gave me said the 38th. I need some fact checkers in my discord on this information that I'm getting :D Thanks for the kind words!
@@RobertLovesGames no problem ! I’m in 82 DK that’s how I know it, try to find the warden and collie high command, most of all big clans have an early war target and we discuss about this during resistance
Whats more impressive about Origin falling was the fact that Steel Road was taken via a naval invasion with motor boats within the first few hours of the war, which cut off all of origin from logistics lol
Lack of Northern defences and reinforcements on that road to cuttail is what made it collapse so easily. Had a couple arty guns and a skycaller in our base that was able to hit the Stoic relic. Managed to take out Stoic a handful of times. It was my first full war. This war (117) seems to be going alot better for us Wardens. I am curious what happened with the DD that was hitting us. It got hit by man AT, arty, howitzers. Last seen it was badly damaged at Basinhome. Never saw it again, wonder if it sank.
Shortest war since Naval Warfare update, but definitely not shortest ever, even if you don't count older smaller maps. War 83 added the additional 14 backline regions, and there have been a few shorter wars since then. Also, Superlogi is not a regiment 🙂- no 'not a clan' meme like V - just a loose group of veteran players.
God we should get you a special reporter outfit, let people knownwhen you are around to report in on the front xD maybe both sides couldnlet you do your thang for the after war report. Love these videos, you can get caught in one area for so long and not know anything that happened in other hexes
That would be awesome! :D I love also playing while I'm on the front when I'm there as well. I wouldn't want to just roam around the whole time ha. Glad you like them! Thanks for saying that! I hope to continue to improve on them and make them better with each new recap!
I played as a new player for half this war on the collie side. Now im trying warden and they are way behind in teamwork. Logi feels sloppy and self centered . No facility etiquette. Ive gone down in a trench with 10+ people around and nobody tries to get you to a medic. Then the medics end up pushing to far to do their job and get shot. What a gong show. Then constant, randomly successful mammon rushes deplete shirts like candy.
Nice! Welcome to Foxhole! Glad you are trying out both factions as well. A lot of Wardens still might be new from last war so have some patience with them :D
I think this is actually good for the game because it stops people expecting the wars are going to be the same grind every time. That there's a chance it could be a blitz
True! I have actually thought about this as well a bit and have always wanted kind of a "blitz" meta. But what I want with that is if you are going to try for a blitz there is something else you are sacrificing ya know? Kind of like in other strategy games if you go for fast quick kill strategy and if you fail then you will be really behind.
@RobertLovesGames yeah that sounds fun ! maybe it could be a choice near the start of the game that your faction could allocate resurch to a branch that gets you fast moving vehicles but obviously increases the time it take for your team to get the other stuff? Thank you for replying! Love your content
A lot of new player start in Loch Mor. It's pretty slow but a good place to learn the game. Feel free to DM me on discord if you ever have any questions about the game or if you need help with anything!
@@RobertLovesGames devman should do a hot fix in those situations and boost the losing side by giving them faster generating mines, buff weapons, or more health. Just for that war. They can't make more players join but they can make the players that are there stronger. You'll end up with one side with weaker individuals but power in numbers
It's stuff like this that makes me love foxhole, like for me personally early war is my favorite as it feels less like a video game and more like Band of Brothers, the fortifications aren't an eyesore and actually look cool, tanks are highly valued and the definitive "Oh shit" moment when one shows up on the enemies side, maneuver warfare is more common etc, it just feels better.
Same! There are some awesome stories that happen every war. And I agree with you I like fighting in early war much more than late war. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this!
I took part in the final stand at Isawa (warden side) , probably one of the best island fights I've been apart of, we did our best but we were outnumbered in manpower and with tanks and we got surrounded and destroyed, we only had one fire-rocket truck as fire support and a couple tanks, we didn't last very long but definitely one of the funniest battles I've ever took part in, we did our best with what we had
Have a group of friends that all started with war 117. So we decided to make a regiment and name ourselves The 117th in honor of our first war together and focus our efforts towards learning naval logistics. Crafting feels so weird in this game, every crate of shirts we cook, every mammon...This supplies the front and keeps our blueberries fighting. Last night an invasion force began threatening the region we primarily resupply. We are parking our trucks and grabbing our rifles. See you on the eastern front.
Are there any others concerned about the faction manpower balance? Seems like way more Colonials. I play both sides. Just curious about others thoughts.
Yes, there’s a big concern on warden side. At least half the collie mains out there will tell you it’s cope and that the wardens just suck but the collie kit, especially early war, has been extremely tilted to favor collies.
Yea there is a concern about this for sure. I made a whole video about it going over the data of populations through all the wars. I had some suggestions in there as well to help fix this but I don't know if the devs will focus on this type of issue any time soon.
As a new player, after 50 hours of play, my perspective is that colonials always have some kind of advantage in the war, I don't know if it's because their loadout is broken. But it's obviously cause they represent the allies, but considering that this is just a game, it's not fair one side having benefits over the other. Just my humble perspective...
And a quick implementing, the suicidal mechanics in this game, it's not enjoyable. I see no tactic or strategy in a horde of grenadiers swimming for certain death. The devs should lead with it
@@marcoslover2836 lol mammon rushes are the best hahahahahaha uniting randoms and crouching to the enemy line with the pink panther theme before diying for glory... pure gold. arty and logi win wars, when there´s artillery raining everything else becomes secondary, oh you are pushing? well now you are not. hm... good defence, now you cant man the defensive line. still without coordination from the infantry and armor is quite useless. without those rushes the defenders can repair quite easy in early war as fas as i have seen, and it´s a team game so making the bases to squishy would make the game too fast paced for it to actually feel like a frontline and not like a huge battlefield4 game pd: about the suicidal thing... there´s a reason you dont get to save a K/D ratio, the focus is the objective, and the larp, nothing else
Welcome to Foxhole! I can tell you from experience it's not the loadout. Warden morale and population seemed to be low for 116. Morale is more of a resource than equipment and tanks in this game. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this!
@@tu-estupidez9713 yeah, the focus is the objective, how it's a strategical coordination game the people must get engaged for making good plans. But kamikaze is not a plan, in the second war, these were huge sacrifices. Here, it's just a "screw you, I have long ranged mammon". Do you have arty? What is it against an mammon army? You get simple one hundred shirts and bloom it away with a bunch of fellows. In my humble opinion, the loadout should be the same for both sides, with some bit differences, then it makes a fair play. And don't tell that both sides can make suicidal acts, ash grenades doesn't destroy buildings. Warden players are not naz*, so they don't need to have holocaust guns
Great Vid Rob... I don't know if you wanted to simplify things by calling everyone a regiment but NEP is a coalition and superlogi is literally a squad in which you get invited if you are good and/or they know you... mostly vets in there. They may be others but those two I catch
Thank you! This is good information to know! I need people to add this in the Discord when tell their stories :D I will remember this though for next recap. I also need someone to help me make a list of all active regiments and coalitions on both warden and collie side. That would be super helpful.
@@RobertLovesGames SIGIL definitely keeps a list that's a significant part of it, I'm sure if you talk to an admin the'll point you to the right place to look.
You might want to find the sigil deployment map when doing a war summary there were some errors. You called NEP a regiment but they are a coalition and misreported 141's position on the map.
Yea sorry these are just the reports I got from other players. I'm now realizing that I need some fact checkers in my discord to make sure the information other people are giving me is 100% correct :D I am in the SIGIL discord so I will try to look for that map each war or maybe I can have someone send it to me. Thanks for the info!
Much deserved. I dont play warden because i've never heard a Collie VC spam N bombs, seems to be a regular thing for wardens bayo rushing. Theres a very obvious culture difference between the factions. That aside, this was the first war i played beginning to end and made OCdt as a combat medic in 1 war, was a blast. 117 seems a bit more balanced
I like to think 116 was such a short wor because of the massive impact I made in my first war for the Collies 😂. I really didnt do shit, but I did participate in the massive tankette push for Kings Cage
Oh hey, this was my second war. It was awful! Almost every battle was a six, even ten to one advantage for the Colonials, with Wardens constantly suffering from low pop. Feels like history's repeating itself again.
A fellow 6th?
Absolutely. I was fighting west on the colonial side and it was ROUGH trying to make progress
The mighty 6th SWARM!
Playing my first war on the Warden side with 117. Nervous but everyone seems cool. Using Armored Cars in defense of Treasury has been very fun
That’s awesome! Glad you are finding some cool people and fun action! Try different roles and just have fun!
The regiment/coalition i am in is fighting over treasury on the colonial side. You Wardens are playing it very well there!
As a colonial attempting to siege treasury, you wardens are not letting it go without one hell of a fight.
Enjoy Treasury, but make no mistake, Collies will blast us off that rock.
ive been fighting at Treasury since the war started, you AC crews have saved our front more times than i could count
As a warden the thing that i heard the most was: DO NOT REBUILD THE BRIGE
#1 rule on the Warden side. Never build Mercy's Wish bridge :D
@@RobertLovesGames That goes for both sides...
A foxhole classic!
@@RobertLovesGamesall good players just move to collies so it’s not even worth
@@aidanproy1484why?
@@RustyBear majority of new players start on warden because they look really cool. Once they learn the game after a few wars they’ll typically swap to the other side to get a feel from the other faction. From what I’ve experienced being a veteran since war 100 the wars have continuously gotten shorter and shorter. Obviously there are outliers, but collies have much better early game than wardens, and so usually when collies have veteran squads running the war they can gain enough ground to where the warden mid game can’t retake what was already lost in the first few days. That’s just my experience though.
@@aidanproy1484 lol. I am gonna buy the game eventually and already planned on joining the wardens

Ha! I will be back Warden for war 119! We are almost there :D
This was my first war, and it was SUPER fun, despite us losing hard😂 It was really fun getting to know all about the game, and the people in here are really great, the battle for the Blaise River was such a back and forth!

Play Green, you'll have more fun.
Started out as a new player on warden side at the worst war... was a bit tough always being low, still there were nice successful counter offensives
Yea that's rough! Last stands can be fun still though! And a lot of the newer players on the Warden side will come back more experienced now :D GGs!
That's awesome to hear! Always need more medics on the front :D See you out on the battlefield!
The reason for pop difference is a ton of usually-warden regiments decided to do a vacation on the collie side at the same time, because they wanted to play with Spathas due to their disproportionate strength. The war ended too quickly to use Spathas so in W117 a lot of them are staying Colonial again.
Oh dear
Yea I've heard a lot of reports about that. Might be seeing similar thing for war 117 but we will see.
War 117 has privates trying to fight Maj Gen ranks, with the predictable and catastrophic early loss of the Wardens key Fading Lights refinery.
war 115 was a really fun and close war. is there a buff in war 116 that made them switch collies?
@@llillian4055Is this bait because no one uses the doru to frontline and the 120 gun on the sub does nothing
“… and I took that personally”
-me, a warden player.
lol! If I was Warden that war I’d feel the same way.
@@johndoe5432 remarkable coincidence that some wardens were calling us out by name from the railbridge then, huh?
Both sides were mainly just new players and randos doing their own thing, but since Collies managed to easily take the west it was a steamroll since the wardens were immedialy down a lot of valuable land that collies built massive bases on
Collies did a much better job organizing and empowering new players. Warden had a lot of newbies milling about without direction
I’m going to break it to you Robert. This war is going to be 2nd shortest war if it keeps up like this. As a warden main this is pain.
lol! It just might be! Not looking great for Wardens on the west this war. And yea I understand that. Has to be frustrating to be a Warden right now honestly. Kind of wish my faction rotation was on the Warden side right now to help out.

@@tu-estupidez9713 We have the french they also have "experience" with trench warfare
That's awesome to hear! I was just playing the other night with some really great builders. Love me some good frontline builders.

I did not join this war since war 115 was so brutally demoralizing after a long stalemate only to be defeated. So I decided to take a break.

He got me hyped, started in 115 hoo boy 45 days of madness. Welcome to the front friend!
I want to give a shout out to Stema because in the early days of the war we basically roleplayed the punics war trying to constantly bring war barges against the warden islands, it took 2-3 days but eventually we managed to get all the islands and secure the sector, best naval fight I had in a while
Nice! That sounds fun! Glad you all had a good time. Thanks for sharing that!
In the final hour of the war a large amount of wardens naval invaded godscroft and would have taken it, but like 100 collies were on the home island in que to join the battle for tine and dog piled on the blueberries lol
I saw that on the map when I was playing! Looked like a fun way to end the war :D GGs!

Warden artillery man here. I’m glad we could hold you back at least for some time
Linn of Mercy is always rough from my experience. I don't honestly go there very often because it moves so slow and is a back and forth for 90% of the war.

NEP NEP NEP NEP, also, NEP is a coallition, it have a few regiments working together. UA is part of NEP, aswel as UCF, LOOT,DFO,CRG,KSR and a few more
NEP is called "Non Essential Personnel" a shot to 82dk hahahhahaa
Good to know! Thank you!
Whats more impressive about Origin falling was the fact that Steel Road was taken via a naval invasion with motor boats within the first few hours of the war, which cut off all of origin from logistics lol
That's amazing! I wish I had this detail and could have added it to this video! That would have been awesome! Thanks for sharing that!
the wardens were pushing us hard right by the linn of mercy and we had to fight a losing battle while pulling back the logi trucks
That's always a tough territory to push north in. Thanks for sharing that!
True. It has been a year and half since we have had a similar war.
War 116 was my first war and spending most of my time down at Loch mór was amazing even if no progress was made.
A lot of new player start in Loch Mor. It's pretty slow but a good place to learn the game. Feel free to DM me on discord if you ever have any questions about the game or if you need help with anything!
Warden just straight up didn't have enough players.
Seems like it might have been that way unfortunately. Happens after long wars. Same thing happened war 100 and war 101
@@RobertLovesGames devman should do a hot fix in those situations and boost the losing side by giving them faster generating mines, buff weapons, or more health. Just for that war. They can't make more players join but they can make the players that are there stronger. You'll end up with one side with weaker individuals but power in numbers
0:37 i dont know if bro knows his wests and easts
It's stuff like this that makes me love foxhole, like for me personally early war is my favorite as it feels less like a video game and more like Band of Brothers, the fortifications aren't an eyesore and actually look cool, tanks are highly valued and the definitive "Oh shit" moment when one shows up on the enemies side, maneuver warfare is more common etc, it just feels better.
Same! There are some awesome stories that happen every war. And I agree with you I like fighting in early war much more than late war. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this!
I remember stealing a collie ironship with 2 full trucks and an emplaced machinegun with NIGHT last war. Was a great fun and I really miss SUNDIAL.
Dang! Nice! SUNDIAL that's a name I haven't heard in long long time ha
Nice! I still have not had a really good island fight. Only few small ones. Sounds like a lot of fun though! Thanks for sharing that!
Playing my first war (117) in the Callahan's Guardsmen regiment for the Wardens. Deadlands mostly.
Nice! Welcome to Foxhole! Feel free to DM me on discord if you have any questions or need help with anything!
Love how this is still a bad victory for the collies. Feel like we could blitz a 3 day victory and the wardens would still get a valiant defeat.
lol!
Didn't even get to play 116, the spitfire addiction has not been quenched in a while
Ha! Get out and use it for 117!
Yeah we wardens spent all our juice during the past 16 wars 😅
The devs should lead with it
@@marcoslover2836 lol mammon rushes are the best hahahahahaha uniting randoms and crouching to the enemy line with the pink panther theme before diying for glory... pure gold.
arty and logi win wars, when there´s artillery raining everything else becomes secondary, oh you are pushing? well now you are not. hm... good defence, now you cant man the defensive line. still without coordination from the infantry and armor is quite useless.
without those rushes the defenders can repair quite easy in early war as fas as i have seen, and it´s a team game so making the bases to squishy would make the game too fast paced for it to actually feel like a frontline and not like a huge battlefield4 game
pd: about the suicidal thing... there´s a reason you dont get to save a K/D ratio, the focus is the objective, and the larp, nothing else
Im in the 92th regiment i was at basin, my words «war is war, take it wardens»
Nice! GGs!
Shortest war was less than 2 days long. Wardens won. It was wild.
That was long long long time ago :D This was shortest war in last year and half and since the navy major update.
Fun fact 10:17 was the very first CHEEZ tank op. No joke that was our first time doing tanks as a regiment.
That’s awesome to hear! Well done and thanks for sharing that!
@@RobertLovesGames Some real bad communication put us way way WAY to deep in enemy infantry territory. That's just my opinion tho. We got way better.
Reaching Trail was when the Collies were reaching victory.
I consider myself a poet now
lol well done!
You might want to find the sigil deployment map when doing a war summary there were some errors. You called NEP a regiment but they are a coalition and misreported 141's position on the map.
Yea sorry these are just the reports I got from other players. I'm now realizing that I need some fact checkers in my discord to make sure the information other people are giving me is 100% correct :D
I am in the SIGIL discord so I will try to look for that map each war or maybe I can have someone send it to me.
Joined 116, playing 117, wondering why both the wars I’ve played have been record setting.
This was 100x funner than a stalemate. getting absolutely worked > bridge battles ANYDAY
I was on the SPUD frigate! First time ever touching a ship. It was really fun
Nice! I bet that was a lot of fun! Last stands are always great when you just bring out all the big equipment and go for it :D
It feels like wardens are getting weaker. the collies are winning too easy...
Maybe! Low morale certainly does not help.
footage at 5:26 has longhook landers... those never teched that war...
Correct. Only footage I had of a landing unfortunately. I need some barge landing footage.
I like to think 116 was such a short wor because of the massive impact I made in my first war for the Collies 😂. I really didnt do shit, but I did participate in the massive tankette push for Kings Cage
lol! I love it! And that's awesome to hear! I wish had more information on that push and could have talked about it more!
116 lasted 369 hours
Oof! When you put it like that it sounds even shorter!
Go figure once I have taken another break because forever War fatigue a super awesome short war happens.
Something I didn't think possible anymore
I honestly didn't think it was possible any more as well. I thought every war from now on would at least be 25+ days but I was wrong ha
Oh hey, this was my second war. It was awful! Almost every battle was a six, even ten to one advantage for the Colonials, with Wardens constantly suffering from low pop. Feels like history's repeating itself again.
Wardens are doing much better in war 117 which is nice to see! Some wars are little strange before a major update comes out.
