Fought at this place the time before it fell, it was great having arty sweep it's way up to scuttle and we retook it for a spell. Seeing people fight from behind the conc to defend it felt like a losing battle from the start

I never comment but now I will. That back and forth between Scuttletown and Fort Rictus was so fun to play. As a completely new player I got to learn all the basics of frontline battle from my fellow wardens and it was fun to see some incredible players show up everyday on the same front to push back the colonials.. only to have our attempts at taking Scuttletown bombed into oblivion by the 150s at the Gibraltar base. I managed to pour some 40 hours into that back and forth between fort rictus and scuttletown in about a week. Sadly, I missed that last battle but damn it was a good fight right up until the end.
I was here as warden and it felt like no matter how many rockets we launched it would never fall. When the collie battleship came and started shelling it was pretty demoralizing to see our town hall destroyed and you guys rebuilding defenses. It was a great battle

As a Warden, I helped supply Scuttle with shirts, bmats, and rpg's for 5 hours trying to help the assault. My regi then decided to bring skycallers and as we were about to depart from Morgen's, that arty hill was taken, so we used them in the initial assault into Terminus. GG's that fight was ongoing for weeks and the last 3 days of it were really fun
Was part of the start of one of the first invasion waves of scuttletown. The 5th with the help of I think it was the 193 artillery leveled Scuttletown with a few artillery pieces that opened up for a push of a mix of infrantry and tanks. In total I think we in the 5th sent about 500 shells and only stopped when the wind turned against us so that we couldt hit anything we hadnt already raised to the ground.
This battle was my first on able and my third session ever playing. I was part of the Warden mass satchel rushes earlier in the battle. Hats off to you guys for a damn good last stand.
Oh wow! Welcome to Foxhole! Was a fun battle! GGs! Also if you ever have any questions about the game or need help with anything feel free to DM me on discord!
Let me telling how hard this fort next to Scuttletown.... it suck a Battle ship and a frigate at the same time, and normal arty trying to hit it. For the longest time it was what held us wardens back for I think 12 days.
For sure! Though the Colonial navy is still not up to par they have been doing much better this war. The Colonials know it's their weak spot right now and groups are working together to improve it :D
I was there as soon as the call for Gibraltar Defence began. What an experience to be running logis on APC, finishing 150mm shells, dousing fires and seeing such camaraderie. Worth every minute! Sadly, after coming home from the office the map showed "RIP Gibraltar o7" .. nuuuu
Nice! And yes we tried to hold on as long as we could! There was one point that I thought we might actually retake Scuttletown :D was a fun fight! GGs!
On the map in the beginning i was in that vic up to the north. it was an outlaw trying to cut logi, we succeeded at scaring away one barge but never saw anything else and eventually moved on
I was part of an earlier battle against this very peninsula. It made it very hard to hold onto scuttletown, which as a t1 base was under constant arti fire and had to rebuilt every 20 minutes. I built a bunker base north-west of scuttletown as a backup spawn, some 400 meters from the peninsula's artillery, but the colonials got very lucky with their wind and managed to destroy its defenses, leading to it quickly being overrun by tanks after scuttle once more fell.
I could see that. Especially if you are getting hit by those 150mm. They could easily hit the town hall any time. Thanks for sharing that! Always love hearing other parts of the battle or things that happened leading up to this. GGs!
Seein that base was crazy, had a good time there. You musta walked into scuttletown (gibraltar still stands) at the same time as me Oh we were there together! Here is a question. As someone who doesn't play, I'm fascinated as to why this is... great vid as always Rob 👍
people are smart enough not to stay within range of heavy mounted weapons if they do get in range they are usually planning to fire an explosive weapon then quickly get out of range also those spots are exposed and the bunkers under them are usually the first ones to get blasted by artillery and mortars so most people will probably not want to actively man them unless there are targets within range
So, as a newbie on Charlie shard who plays Colonial... do Colonials get wiped on Alpha nearly all the time? I've heard a lot of people say Wardens win way more wars.
