Dhaulagiri is a reeeeal beauty! You can see it from Annapurna Camp 4 at an altitude of 7100m while I am above the clouds if you go to my Annapurna summit video!
Yes, I want to minimize my time on the mountain as much as possible, since it is simply to dangerous and unpredictable. So I strengthen my body here and try to climb Annapurna in less than 2 weeks.
OMGosh you really are walking in the clouds. Beauty in every direction. So peaceful & quiet. Hope your body is acclimating better, by taking it easier this year. How do they heat those little stoves? Coal? Keep to yourself as much as you need to. As an introvert, I get my strength & peace, by spending time alone. What you're doing is serious business. I hope all is going well for you. Keeping you in my prayers. God bless.
Yes it is so beautiful, and I always walk here, when I am alone and no one else is here anymore. I feel my body acclimatizating quite good, but it takes time and patience. They use Propan or Butan Gas bottles up here which are usually carried by Yaks or horses, sometimes even porters. Yes you are right, with such a big task ahead I need all the focus and clarity I can get. 😊
Hi Norrdine. Congratulations on the pass and all the best on your Annapurna and Everest climbs. I am from India and not used to snow and ice. Have done annapurna base camp and everest base camp in autumn. Is there too much snow and ice while climbing to the pass and also on the way down? snow on the path on the way down to muktinath is even more dangerous. I am planning the circuit in the next one month. Is it ok to try it in April or wait for May based on your recent experience?
In my opinion the path down to Muktinath was not very problematic. Just make sure you bring some spikes and you should be fine. April and May are even warmer and should be more easy, but maybe less beautiful, when there is less snow and ice. But thats personal preference!
Haha! It looks worse than it is! But again, this is a super subjective feeling and everyone needs to decide on their own, what they feel comfortable with.
Hope you have a good aclimatization there! Looking forward for next one!❤ Maybe in next videos you will talk about how much it cost this amazing journey.
Ohh man, what stunning views you did experience.
Dhaulagiri sure os beautiful 😮

So amazing. The two people walking past with horses was so cool. This scene is thousands of years old.
Beautiful and somehow basic isnt it?
These videos are great a clear look into how a mountaineer climbs one of these big mountains, good luck man.
Thank you Peter! I just came down from the summit! About to upload the footage now.
@@norrdinenouar thats great news can't wait to see the footage thank you.
Enjoying following your progress man, good luck. So by doing all this prep in the pass area, are you looking to do quite a fast push on Annapurna?

@@norrdinenouar Ok, good luck with the rest of prep.
