    This is a very useful tutorial which answers so many questions I had with regard to animating shapes. Thank you from Scotland! The kilt and haggis is in the post!

    Love Apple Motion, but have only been using a fraction of what it can do, so this is very helpful. Thanks.

    Awesome. I’m at that stage where just knowing how things work isn’t enough for something to look good. You need some artsy design intuition. The touch, the flow, and the graphic has to look good before you make it move, etc…,

    Thanks so much for this Dylan! I've been battling so hard with getting an animation to reverse after it's completion. I'm trying to make custom lower thirds and getting them to play the same forwards and backwards has been painstaking. Is there an easy way to do this?

      That can sometimes be a tricky one depending on how you animated everything! If you used keyframes, you can go into the keyframe editor, and add a keyframe at the exact halfway point. Then selecting each parameter in the keyframe editor, click on the down arrow next to the parameter, then go down to "After Last Keyframe" and then select "Ping Pong" that will make the animations completely reverse, and get everything reset by the first frame again!
      As for with Parameter Behaviors, it's a totally different issue. It's been a while since I made this video, so I can't remember for sure. But I think it covers some concepts for reversing the animation ruclips.net/video/sMfBysCWbDI/видео.htmlsi=C1zKdnIOQ--iJok7. Hope that helps!

    Hello. I’m a huge fan of your work. I wonder if there is a way to put thumbnails on motion title without background. The thing is that in Final Cut Pro, when the title as background I can’t move position without affecting the layer bellow. Greets

    • @TheFinalCutBro
      @TheFinalCutBro  Год назад +1

      Yes! If you create a thumbnail in any photo software, then export it as a jpg twice with the names "small" and "large" (no caps), you can drop that into your motion project folder and overwrite the generated thumbnails Motion gives you. This will set you up with custom thumbnails in Final Cut Pro!
