Apple has to do it with their "Apple way"
Honestly - some of that truly is privacy and security. Apple does try to take customer experience into effect. And unapproved apps will cause issues. Having worked in the cellular industry, I understand part of this. To many users - anything that goes wrong is the fault of the phone and/or phone maker. So they will get tons of calls and complaints because an app doesn’t work properly.

Most likely. CarPlay itself is updated frequently but the new version will be throughout your car, on the mirror, the instrument cluster, the clock, etc. It takes a lot of effort from the car manufacturer to integrate CarPlay that deeply.

What happens if someone from USA travels to Europe, (or move to Europe) will suddenly sideloading work? And vice versa, does it stop working? Apple device registration has nothing to do with the region, if it did, then it would be very easy to change it. I can't make sense of it. 🤔
Not quite. The way it will work is Apple actually must approve third-party app stores to distribute apps. You won't just install any old IPA file you stumble upon.

This is huge! Apple will allow whole third-party app stores on iPhone for the first time. Epic and Facebook among others have both pledged to creating their own app stores for iPhone, including bringing Fortnite back!

Why are so many people seeing alternative app stores as a positive thing? Instead of having all your apps in one place you now have to install a different app store just to have a specific app and it will most likely require another stupid account. How is that better in any way or form for the end user? I genuinely hope this doesn't unfold to apps becoming exclusive to those app stores.
Let me give you some reassurance: you won't have to deal with alternative app stores if you don't want to. The point of having alternative app stores is to sideload apps that Apple wouldn't allow on their own App Store. For example, adblockers. There are adblocker apps for general browsing like Adblock Pro and the Brave browser. However, there aren't any alternative adblocker apps for the RUclips app or Instagram app (yet). These type of apps would never make it onto the App Store. Hence: alternative app stores. They give users the option to download apps that would otherwise not exist due to breaking the App Stores' rules. Let me make this clear. If an app can be available on the App Store, it WILL be on the App Store. It has the highest security along with the largest userbase. Edit: I lied, Apple announced they will restrict what can be hosted on alternative app stores, so I don't really know what the benefits are.
Yeah honestly I can give you a Solid explanation but it wouldn't be for iOS because Apple have put extreme restrictions on it but on Android it's honestly simple. They use "Safety and Privacy" as an excuse when if we're gonna be honest that's a problem within the Apple System already
