I have used ipad for a couple of decades since it was launched but never explored with the features. This video is perhaps the most useful video I have watched since the launch of the M4 iPad Pro. I can’t tell you how much I dread opening up video after video claiming to discuss about features of the iPad Pro only to spend half the time on the video watching an unboxing and rehashing all the specs which everyone had already talked about.
You are seriously one of my favorite persons. Thank you!!! I have the new M4 Ipad pro 13" with pencil and keyboard. I also have a M3 macbook pro. These tips will definitely come in handy!!!
The biggest mistake I see a lot of people do with their iPads or iPhones is to on turn the 80% limit option during their first charging time, the device battery will just spoil. So before you use the 80% limit time, make sure that you first charge the iPad or the iPhone to 100% first, and second time, then during your third time charged, you can then freely turn on the 80% limit charged option. Just thought I should share, please like this comment so that other people can see it too.
@@ESB234 because the chemical that made up the battery, needs a 100% charge at first charge. So there is no smartphone that comes with a 100% full charge, the user has to do that before doing any changes when it then comes to the second time charging.

I have an ipad 8 generation that I got for my birthday 4 years ago from saving up. But now I disconnect from playing high quality games for about 20 minutes. So I’m now saving up for the new iPad Pro 11 inch.
I think every other Apple tech reviewer needs to watch Hayls before they release the review. It feels like she knows more about Apple devices and software than all the rest combined. Plus, she has such a positive attitude and is so full of tips and tricks, whereas so many others look for reasons to tear down Apple!
Love the mirroring feature discussed at the end. Is this a pro-only feature? Many of these things work well on my M2 iPad Air, but that one doesn't. It mirrors the screen, but I can't control the laptop applications on the iPad.
I’m an artist, and my 2018 iPad Pro is still going strong! These things last forever. It still does everything I need, so it’s hard for me to justify spending the money for a new M4 iPad Pro… but I am drooling for the OLED screen & Apple Pencil Pro.

Great tips but you should include caveats before showing features that disrupt your settings. Unless there is a quick way to reverse. Case in point, before experimenting with "stage manager" viewers should be notified that playing around with it will results with your app icons being moved around requiring some time to individually move the tiles back to the way they were previously positioned. Can you help me with this question: On the ipad M4, if I am filling out a form , and it has a field where if you click on it, it shows a pop-up menu or drop down menu from which you are supposed to scroll to whatever selection you like. It can be field like "State" and you can select the name of your State from that list. In Windows, when you click on such a field, you can start typing the first few letters of your choice like "Ala" for Alabama, and it'll instantly plug in Alabama for you instead of you having to scroll down the entire list to find Alabama. On iPad apparently, you can't do that. I tried typing on the magic keyboard to pull up my desired selection but nothing happens. I have to manually scroll down the entire list to find what I am looking for. Is there not a solution or equivalent shortcut for something like this on iPad?
Hi the external display section. I have updated to IOS 18.1 and extending an monitor option looks to have gone, I can only mirror monitors in settings I can’t extend, are you aware of this you cover it 8:53 ish into this video
All of these can be done by the previous iPad Pro. I wonder what are new things it’s better at. Performance? Light weight? But pencil pro is kinda cool.

When we are playing with iPad Pro 2024 and the iPad is charging at the same time, is the power taken from the battery or directly from the charger to play? Does it mean that like a gaming phone, direct electricity goes to play? And does this damage the phone's battery?

When I am filling out a form on the ipad, there are pop-up or pull down menus from which you can select whatever entry you want for ex. "State" and you can choose "Alabama", "New York" etc. On a laptop, when you have a menu like that, you can type the first few letters of the entry you want like "Ala" and it automatically plugs in "Alabama". But on the ipad, nothing happens when you type into a menu field and so you have to scroll manually all the way down to the entry you want. I run it connected at 80% limit. 1000 nits gaming can really tank the battery otherwise

The iPad can‘t operate in plugged-in mode, no. It always charges the battery first, which is actually slightly worse for the battery.
Your review of the iPad Pro is the best and most comprehensive I’ve seen to date. Especially the screen mirroring feature.
