Thank you so much. The manual I received seems to be incorrect, but when I lock or unlock the car, only the headlights turn on, but the tail lights and interior lights do not. Is this normal? With my previous switch, both the interior lights and tail lights would turn on.
@@crazyninja96 I forgot to give you an update about this. I contacted the seller, and the explanation they gave me for this behaviour was: - If the rear lights turned on when you open the driver's door, the car would start to beep, like it does when you forget to turn off your headlights. That’s the main reason they decided to disable the rear lights from turning on with this module. - Besides that, the rear lights do not provide sufficient light to illuminate the area in dark places. There is no way to enable the rear lights for the 'coming home' feature with this module."
@@vice17abt That does make sense. However, it would have been great if the manufacturer had provided the option to enable or disable the rear lights based on user preference.
@@modellbaukalender okay thank you for the reply. Great video too, I haven’t found any other comparisons of these switches and your video explains the differences very well:)
What exactly is the point in the tunnel light function?
how to set the sensitivity of the lights?
When it's a bit dark for me the lights don't turn on, it has to be very dark for them to turn on.
headlight does not activate? only driving light activates on coming home
Is there any way to disable the beeping warning sound of parking ligbts when using coming home / leaving home function ?

Mine has the same behaviour. I can't figure if it's something that's configurable or if it's just a limitation.
Did you figure it out?
@@vice17abt No, I believe it's a limitation of the switch, depending on the models. But if you find out anything, please let me know.
Think you have to change the ECU coding for the automatic lighting switch to make it work properly. €30 light switch €300 coding 😆

is the sensor itself better quality on the more expensive one?
No, I think it's the same...
