I injured my lower back about a month ago, and my physiotherapist recommended some core strengthening exercises. This wasn't it, but it certainly helps!

This has helped so much! I hate doing core workouts, so I’ve been using this video and yoga in general to build my strength so that the workouts are easier. I also deal with back problems which is another reason I’ve started. This was definitely a life saver.

This is such an underrated back yoga video!!!! It helped me so much with my sciatica!! The long pauses are annoying butits quite the opposite ! They are SO NECESSARY to stretch and breathe into everything!! Thank you! ❤ 🙏 📿

Saved this to my yoga playlist! I had significant spinal fusion due to scoliosis and disc narrowing, so keeping my core strong and flexible is so important. Thank you for making this approachable for beginners but with a little bit of challenge as well.

Spring is here and it's time to do some more challenging yoga than yin yoga, my favourite evening option in winter. The dancer pose in particular shows me that I need to work on my quadriceps. Thank you for this mindful strength class, Candace. 😘🙏🏻🧘🏼♀

Thanks for the wonderful session. My back often feels quite stiff and this was very good for me. However, I have a question for you. When I sit straight with the legs folded, my upper back feels so painful. Even if I try to relax, it doesn't help. Can you please tell me if I am doing anything wrong
So glad you enjoyed this session. The pain you're feeling could be for various reasons, it takes a lot of strength to sit up straight in meditation, you could try elevating your hips onto a pillow until you build strength. If you're getting neck pain you could try tilting your head a little more down towards your collarbone which may take a little strain off the upper vertebrae.
