Obviously this video is 3 years old, but after watching your newer videos and your progress, I just want to say congratulations and this is a great example of how hard work and determination still work.
Meme, this is amazing. To see where you were 2 years ago and where your at and headed now. As a new subscriber I am in awe of the videos of yours I have watched thus far. I will leave a LIKE for each which will allow me to know I've already watched it, but it helps you. Can't always comment, I watch while I work all night but I am happy to be a supporter of all you do. Have some worms myself but just 2 small bins I recently started and just interested in always learning anything worms. Good to know about the onions. I know Pineapple is enjoyed.
@LosingDrea Thank you so much! I really enjoying helping others . When I started there wasn't anyone commercial on YTube so I wante to help other try to not make the mistake I had made.
Awesome Video i started adding chicken grower mix to my worm bins and i definitely see a difference in size of the worms. The only downer is that i must grind it to a finer texture as its not as fine as i hoped it will be.
Meme, thank you so much for your tutorial; it is awesome and helps me as a beginner. Excuse me, may I ask, the crumble you use in this tutorial, what is made of (if I can find or make it in my country)? Thank you so much
Love your accent (is that still ok to say in 2023?)! I'm doing study on making a bin for possible bait worms. Hopefully the Red worm is more of a juicy morsel for a Norther Pike, or bass, or walleye,.. whatever! Thanks for tips.
Just discovered your channel and site. Looks great. I am an novice who wanted to just raise my own bait. There are many possibilities. Thanks for the video's
Great video, So, if you make your bedding as you do the feeding...(beside the milk powder and sand) what make them fat? When harvesting after 21 days and place the worms in new bedding do you separate the eggs to different bin?
Thank you for the kind compliment. Yes after 21 days you separate the worms and the bedding. That bedding you will keep add some manure and hatch new worms. The laying mesh is what fattens them up.
@@MemesWorms laying mesh? I'm not understanding. And I couldn't understand what the first ingredient was. Did you call it land mash crumbles? As always i LOVE your videos and willingness to share information. I'm scrambling to learn how to fatten up some wigglers for fishing season here. The ENCs that I got from you are monstrously big now!
Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful video and wisdom! How do you keep the worms from crawling out of the bins? Do you just leave lights on 24/7? Thank you again.
Your talking about wholesale red wigglers what price range would it be. I want to rebuild my worm farm. I pretty much lost alot over the winter. I'm looking to buy
@@MemesWorms Thats good to know you have your euros in a bin or mortar tray. I got some worms in bins to try to not have a lot mixed. I noticed by my horse corral there seems to be like red wigglers there and I cant remember if they were already there or if some left my IBC tote and went by the corral. Great video.
I started raising European worms about 4 weeks ago I have 350 in a tote they have done good until today went over to feed them this afternoon and they are starting to try to crawl out I put water on them but not too much they were full grown when I bought them any idea what going on
Check temps, moisture and food. If you have a lid on the bin take it off. If moisture is on the sides of the bins worms love to explore and will follow the moisture. If it's too hot or too cold your worms will leave the bin. You could always start the bin over if you can't get it figured out.
Da Kine Garden Stuff we put about 350 worm per bed. Remember this is only to fatten them. You raise them to mature worms before doing this. You put one scoop in intil they eat it down usually about 2 days then add another scoop. In about 14 days they should be fattened up. Sorry if I didn’t make it more clear. Thanks for asking! This was my first video and I was slightly nervous lol
Anything in moderation is ok not to say that it's always a good idea. The milk powder was for vitamins and calcium but was such a small amount it would not harm them. I feed the same for babies
@@MemesWorms so the younger worms do you go by size or bedding texture or both to determine when to cycle the bin. Thanks for your response and time. I’m trying to start a small bait business for my community. I’ve learned so much from your content. Thanks
Come hoin us at www.memeseorms.com/squad. Its free and a bunch of other farmers to help anwer qustions you may not ask. I promise it will be worth your time. Now back to your question. Once you sift out the breeders after 21 days and reset the breeders you let the cocoons hatch in the bin you sifted them out of with the material. Once they start to hatch you dicide that into 2 bins. After about a couple of weeks you divide them both again and so on until you have 8 bins from that one tray. Once the worms are to the size you need you can put them back together.
Don't sweat in internet trolls who have the sole purpose of making waves. Worms are incredible, diverse and damned prolific. You'll be fine in your endeavor to raise, fatten and sell them...A Guy named Bentley, told me so...just sayin :)

@@rajoany5989 you can use chicken crumbles or most any poultry feed.
This mix is JUST for fattening bins as bedding and feed, right? Not for "general population" bedding or feed?

Ok where did you get the buckets with Texas on the side. I want some of them. Transplanted Texan here.
I have no idea where those came from.
Meme revived a pound of worms from you👍👍👍 They are doing real well!.
Revived?
Qhybdo you use peat moss to fatten? Can you not use compost?
Euros yes peat moss. Red wigglers yes compost
So your big outdoor block bed is that what your breed your euros in then pull from the bed separate and fat them up
Our Euros are all raised in Mortar trays. The block beds are red wigglers

Hello meme how did you keep the rodents away of those outdoor bins in the ground and in the outside tubs? Thanks.
Never had a problem with that so never had to worry about it.
I'd like to see how you get the worms out f the bins to sell ive got 2 bins and can't get them out
