Careful now, I can see that you are showing signs of becoming an Elvis fan and once it's got a grip of you, you can never escape, so my advice is just enjoy to the max for as long as you live, it's fantastic. 😉
It’s fun tho to watch some 1950s innocence! It takes you away from the same old that we watch now. No acting training..just pretty much like an overnight acting star! I think you’ll dig King Creole & the sound track album although there are 2/3 slowies but sung beautifully. His best acting so let’s hope you like it. Pretty good assessment. Cheers Z
I just saw your channel pop up in my recommendations and i went from his first album to his 2nd album and now I'm here i hope you do keep doing these reactions of Elvis albums. Instant subscriber as well. You'll probably like his 70's Christmas album but i think the 50's one was better just my opinion. I hope to see more of you in the future. TCB🌩
Loved your movie assessment combined with reacting to the album. I would suggest either jailhouse rock or king Creole, rather than love me tender. IMO, those are better movies
The Song when he was fighting was "Mean Woman Blues" Actually, in the Movie "Love Me Tender" they originally planned for him to play a bit part but he ended up having a pretty major roll and for his first Movie with no training, his acting wasn't bad.
This is such a great album, especially for being an Elvis movie soundtrack. Totally agree about Lonesome Cowboy - it's a really cool, one-of-a-kind track. And you're right, there is a fast/pop version of Loving You, too! Also, I Need You So and Tell Me Why are 2 of my all time favorite Elvis songs. Great songs in general and I think his vocals are so unique and versatile there.
Great movie great track. Notice the guy who starts the fight in the juke joint is the the one who starts the fight in GI Blues. That guy worked a lot. The woman he starred with Delores Hart, became a Nun, As she put it in her book, from Elvis to the Greater God". If you ever watch the making of this movie, what crazy stuff went on. Great reaction Zakk. Good one.😃 you do have a nack Zakk.
Thanks for another of your very interesting analysis of The King's albums. it's great to hear a "fresh" opinion. I have noticed this was one year ago. Sorry It has taken me so long to "catch up" with you. I look forward to more. May I say you seem to be becoming a great TCB Person. I trust you know what that means.
Always interesting how Elvis movies reflect some portion of his personal life. In this case, a slippery manager that manipulates her client while also scheming to acquire 50 percent of his earnings. In this case however, the manager grows a conscious. Also, Elvis as well as Deek were notorious for breaking guitar strings. Female fans really did write on Elvis’ car. Finally, the establishment seeking to ban both Elvis and Deek from performing based on indecency.
@@zakkthrowback i really do enjoy the format on this one and if you're going to do his soundtracks its probably best to watch the movie first because honestly from about 61-62 onwards the soundtracks are kinda shit but there is some gold buried in them also in case you weren't aware between 1956 and 1958 elvis starred in 4 movies then he was drafted into the army and served two yrs in germany he returned in 1960 and went on to star in 27 more movies between 1960 and 1969 making three a yr its pretty remarkable hes the only actor who has an entire cinematic universe that revolves solely around him and is essentially him playing himself and acting out his life story in a 60 hr meta extravaganza anyways im having a blast watching you slowly being won over by elvis!
Looking forward to more movie reactions. You should watch Love Me Tender and listen to the EP. Love Me Tender was one of the mainstays of his 70s performances and therefore not something to skip from this period
You missed the best part of Have I Told You Lately That I Love You because you were talking. You should give it a listen again. That song, btw, along with Don't Leave Me Now and I Need You So were my favorites (from this album) when I was a child. The Loving You album introduced me to Elvis at age six. I loved almost every song on it. From the very first moment I heard his voice and saw his picture on the back of the album, I loved him. Not like a fan but like I really knew him, like he was a beloved family member. If you know, you know. It's not something you can explain to non Elvis fans.
Skipping access a track ruins it for us, if you need to save time for the sake of the video better to play part rather than make it sound like a scratched record, also, it seems like you're in danger of becoming an Elvis fan, if so, I'd like to shake your hand and welcome you to the club, but, please respect the recordings in the way I've just mentioned 😎
I appreciate your input. The format is still something I wrestle with. A lot of my editing is dictated by remaining copyright compliant, which varies from artist to artist and song to song. Elvis songs are quite strict, so there’s lots more cutting. I do mull over other methods of shooting though. And yes I’ve been enjoying his music!
There are many many other reactors who have worked out a way to play entire songs. I've tried listening to a couple of your videos but I don't enjoy them at all. I hope it works out for you though.

Totally agree ❤😊.
I also agree. Enjoy the "magic" of Elvis. He was something special.. The Legacy is strong.
Mean Woman Blues was the fighf song at the diner

There are different versions of Loving You. The record version, slow version, and fast version.

Did you know his mother and father are in the movie audience in this movie? And that most likely is not a clap but him thumping on his guitar.
Great video

This is a great concept to do. Since im a 1969-1977 elvis fan it will be interesting to see your thoughts about that era.
50s early 60s he was at his best
@@SeanFitzpatrick-r7c Thats your opinion :)
@@timsvensson6530 the voice and health much better in the early years
Great review🎸
I have loved Lonesome Cowboy since I was 12, now I am 53, glad you liked it to😉

The crazy comedy movie Top Secret I based on Loving You and Deke Rivers✌️Val Kilmer plays Nick Rivers😂
I definitely have to rewatch it with that context. I love those Zucker/Abrahams movies
You're right with the character name Deke Rivers
