    Have you heard of this type of pole, you might not consider it a ‘real’ pole because you can’t do these types of tricks in it, but I think it’s called a ‘swivel pole’ and they are usually in the center of tables in certain ‘clubs’. They are only 5 or 6 feet tall, and they swivel because of a ball bearing at their base, like a joystick . I don’t think they can support the full weight of a body, and I think performers use them as a tool to do ground work or twe rking around, and as an aid to get up. I also think they use them to do ‘pole vaulting’ type moves,(because of their swiveling capability ), similar to Olympic pole vaulting (lol), but on a much smaller scale obviously and with somersaulting and fan kicking as they do it. Do you know of any tutorials on how to do these ‘vaulting’ type moves on this type of pole?

    Oh wow it definitely would be such a different experience trying pole like this! I was wondering are these difficult to get into or out of because of the material?

      Luckily not as the grippy parts are on the outside so it’s just like putting on a normal jumpsuit - it’s thicker than my other ones as it’s got the extra layer for grippiness 😀

      Not at all! The inside is nice and soft 😀 I know what you mean though - I had some leggings on a silicone pole that dug in when I was upside down 😬

    Would you be able to do floor work with this on? 🤔

    • @PoleFreaks
      @PoleFreaks  5 месяцев назад

      I guess it depends which floor work but I’d say yes - I roll on my shoulders and feet usually so that’ll be fine. If I knee spin I’d pop on knee pads regardless too! 😀

    I love this idea! I have grippy leggings and leotards, and this meshes the two! This would be perfect for practice. What size did you get?

      I got a small 😀 I’m already loving this for winter! A grippy leotard is cool!
