Used highway pegs on my 82 Honda 750 Nighthawk for several years. Made a huge difference in comfort when clicking down those miles. Never thought of putting them on my Suzuki 650 Vstrom. You've giving me something to think about. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for video :-) How did these pegs work for you? Hold up well? Rattle too much and drive you crazy? Stay tight? I'm looking for a good set for my twin, and your install so far has me shopping for Altrider pegs. I have a tricolor twin also. Man they look sharp ehhhh! Even in Canada, lol.
Ya, they are a weird design and there are some issues with them. Like they don’t go up or down easily. It takes a LOT of effort to put them up or pull them down. You can’t do it while riding. You have to stop, get off the bike, move them, and the restart. I think AltRider has a fix, but I’m on the road and don’t have access to it until I get home.
@@ageofexploring Moving the pegs up and down on the fly is not a concern for me, I just like the fact that they do fold up out of the way. Milling an angle on the pegs makes them a hazard, if I crash I want something round hitting my body not a metal object with a 90 degree edge, and like you I don't need their obnoxious logo on my bike, of course unless they're going to pay me royalty fees to advertise for them.

I’m getting used to them. I probably need to move them to make them more comfortable.

Awesome job!!
Thank you.
Hate the loose wiggle.
Superb👌👌👌👌
I wish they would of left the pegs round, that angle cut really looks strange, I'm sure ill buy them even so.

Smear some grease into those ball-detents and maybe they'll track better.
