My two cents... 5 to 10 minutes before each ride. I go to the Home Depot lot 1 mile away. Parking lanes are 10 feet apart and 20 feet long. So a nice 10 x 40 foot area. Add in 5 or 6 lanes together you have a nice area to practice tight turns or limited turns.Usually at the end of end row there are islands for plants and such. So 5 minutes practicing tight turns, and 5 minutes of in and outs. It gets my blood flowing and senses aware. If you can then you could cross from one parking lane to another for quick stops. If I find I can't keep concentration and balance, then I know that maybe I should not ride today. I'm 67 years old, so not everyday day is a good day. Sometimes I just don't get enough sleep, or the mind and body are not working together. I'm retired so I enjoy everyday, and there is always tomorrow. Just my two cents...
this is so good! I actually think I am going to incorporate this into my rides. All it takes is to leave a little bit early and practice something. Thanks so much!!!
@@BryanRheem No problems, glad I could help. One other little tip if I may. I noticed that when you parked your bike you pull in forward, BUT at the front of the lane. Front of the lane parking is great. Allows cars coming down the lanes to see you or your bike. What I saw on another video was pulling along side of the parking space and then backing the bike in. That way when you are ready to leave, you can see everything and just go. I started using this method and it works well. BTW - I hate parking lots except for practicing.
Hi Bryan and Merry Christmas - I know this video is 7 months old, and you have not posted a video in awhile. I hope everything is okay with you and yours. But I do have a couple of questions, if I might. 1) Do you still have your motorcycle? 2) Did you purchase the bike in California? 3) last question - On the shift lever side of the bike is a plastic panel that is taken off by using the ignition key. Under that panel you will see the battery and just to the left of it, is a vertical 4-pin plug. Does this plug have two wires Black with a yellow stripe coming from the top of it?? There is a reason to my question, IF you still have the bike and support this channel.. Thanks in advance...
Hi Allen, thanks for the comment. I'm still alive and kicking! I've been super busy with work so filming has taken a back seat although I do ride the Vulcan to work almost every day. I did buy it here in CA. I'll take a look at my bike and let you know what I see.
@@BryanRheem That is great news!! In today's world you just don't know... I'm glad you and yours are okay and safe. Thank you so very much for your time. You don't have to touch anything. Just pull the cover back and look for the 4-pin plug... and see if there are any wires coming from the top of it... Thanks again!!
Bryan, at 57 now and a follower of Christ for the past 40 years, I have wanted my MC endorsement in the worst way! I'm the "baby" of my family and still am treated like it. I had fight to get into college and earn my degree(at 47 and my degree at 50 years of age). I intend to take "continuing education" courses to improve my skills set. My family has lost out on my accomplishments because of their games. This MC endorsement is important to me that I can't let them know it's happening, and, when I get my MC endorsement-to boot! Doug
Hi do you still use this with quickshifter ? Is it possible to also use it with downshifting with automaticly without manual ? and Do you think is it faster on 0-100 while using quickshifting have you done 0-100 vid ?

I practice in school parking lots when I’m riding on weekends.
Hey, still alive and kickin?
I'm still here and still ride almost every day. I haven't been filming any new content for a long while though .... Thanks for checking in!
@@BryanRheem Good to know, brother! 👍💪
Always practice
