For me, this is by far the hardest meditation. I always drift off and loose or lost awareness. The silences make me drift off and when I realize I drift off, I try to get back on noticing and being aware but I end up feeling uneasy angry to myself; saying “why I cant even do the simplest meditation like this” 😭🙏 please help
It is awesome that you notice the anger! It is the next object you can bring the awareness to! And you can continue with the meditation. Down the line, you will learn that this is totally normal and the anger and judgment might not even arise
You are in the right direction, it's normal to pass through that. Note that you notice that you lost awareness, that's ok. Everything is invited to enter, to pass, even 'lost of awareness " (what you will see later that you never lose awareness, notice "loss of awareness" is being aware of it 😊) Anger is also allowed. The goal is being aware of what appear, whatever it is. And yes , pass from concentration meditation to open awareness is a big step and not easy but you are well and in good direction.😊
After a run it becomes ultra easy. Usually, i can't really meditate, being an untreated russian adhd sucker, but after a run...wow
