    This man just said a 5 carat diamond is good for starting a relationship together.
    Boy we can’t even be friends if you’re wearing $120,000 on your finger and my car is $11,500

    • @mistym0rning
      @mistym0rning 4 года назад +6

      Lol I know, it’s a little silly to imply that you need 5 carat to start a life together 😂 but, that being said, if you’re saying that all engagement rings need to cost less than the car you’re driving there’s actually a lot of diamond rings you wouldn’t be able to get. Not to mention, the woman is supposed to keep that one ring for probably 30, 40 years. You’ll likely have your car for no more than 10-15 so that needs to be taken into account as well 😉

    2.5 carats natural diamond with tiffany setting in 18kgold: $130.000
    2.5 carats lab diamond with tiffany setting replica in 18kgold: $2000-$3000

    • @natevic1867
      @natevic1867 5 лет назад +2

      Ga190fbrj Hekvjd cheap cars get you from one place to the other too. Stop making shitty ass excuses for accepting a more expensive car. A Lambo is just as pointless as a diamond ring but the fact remains that men don’t make excuses about buying one of them but make a multitude of excuses for buying a diamond. You always cave in in the end anyways as soon as you meet a woman you want to marry so no idea why you even waste your time online trying to convince other men that it’s a waste of money

      @@natevic1867 lol... I've NEVER heard of a woman buying a man a Lamborghini ever!!! I know about 99% of men who buy their wife to be.... a diamond ring though....

    "Tiffany is the world's Diamond Authority" really. LOL....I love Tiffany and HAVE had excellent excellent service above and beyond the call of Duty and im a faithful customer to them, but certainly, I WOULD not be buying a Diamond from them EVER....Its over priced by so many thousands of dollars. Was in their store the other day and a .90 carat diamond in the Harmony setting was going for $19000.00 OMG.
    YOU can get great diamonds in other places, stores, there are so many other alternatives to diamonds, like sapphires, topaz, Gorgeous Moissanite, Hell even some CZ is stunning and visually and virtually almost like a diamond, BUT you have to source the right kind of CZ that is well cut with nice colour etc, BUT CZ is not for a life time, Only temporary.
    I would prefer to use a Moissanite instead of CZ until I can source a nice diamond for a good price, NOT these over inflated prices at These kinds of stores. As well I would like something more earth friendly so I have been looking at Lab Diamonds, and IVE seen them too. Extremely Gorgeous pieces. Breathtaking!!! At the moment Im wearing a moissanite that looks like a Grey Diamond, its indistinguishable despite the double refraction of Moissinate, STILL because its grey and SO Brilliant and breathtaking everyone thinks its a grey naturally tinted diamond. it's just the most beautiful ring.
    Lab grown diamond, (doesn't have have the resale value of earth mined diamond, but then again if you pay $23,000, for an earth mined diamond, you're lucky to get even 60% of the money you paid for it...they loose their value -they are not an investment, NO matter How they try to sell you that line. I prefer to get moissanite or lab diamond because they are both much more affordable and Eco Friendly for our earth and its a better value for your dollar that is hard enough to earn.
    I feel so bad for all these chaps buying cheap stuff, or having to put up up almost 2 yrs salary + debts (sometimes) to pay for a $15,000 engagement set + eternity band, or they buy a set under $10,000 or cheaper -that is a real diamond- but is cheap and full of inclusions. TRUST me in my quest for the perfect and economical solution ive been researching this "diamond topic" for years and grew out of the fantasy that a "diamond is a girls best friend" Uh NO!!
    The best thing I've found is Moissanite (round brilliant shapes go for $900 and under and fancy cuts and colours over $1000, but so gorgeous..... and then lab grown diamonds, THEY ARENT CHEAP...a 1.50 can cost up between $5000 to $8000, and is absolutely breath taking...but a mined diamond you're looking anywhere over $20,000 and way more for a 1.50 ....Super expensive.
    THERE IS no such thing anymore as a three months salary on a damn ring. Its a fortune, DONT be fooled by what stores tell you....they mark rings up by 300% and always ask for a loupe of you're going to stores. Its better to buy from a jeweller that can source a loose stone ...than these big brand name stores. Remember as well: You dont' need a diamond to start your life or relationship..you can have any stone you like. There is much more to life than that. Have a great day.

    I've tried the Tiffany Setting engagement ring on at Tiffany's in Selfridges in London. Gorgeous ring!! The the one I tried was £8,000 it was 1 carat I think

      Doesn’t mean you can’t have a big diamond though
      The only reason why it costs more in Tiffany is because you are paying for the brand name
      Find the size and setting of the diamond that you want then find a place that sells cheaper diamonds and buy it from there

  • @daradidam

    whoa, a 1.5 carat D color Internally Flawless... even excluding the Tiffany brand name tax, that could cost upwards of $10K...

    The prongs are too chuncky...nothing like claw prongs, and I saw many other settings that are prettier, this brand is overrated.
    Gold Old Gold has amazing diamonds in quality and price, and you can chose your ring to settle the stone. And for less of the money in this brand. I just researched a diamond 1.60 carats cushion cut and was surprised with the price.

    • @gardenglory6624
      @gardenglory6624 6 лет назад

      yes that is correct. they mark up the rings by 300% alll the fancy fancy and NOT so fancy retailers do that. No matter that 4 c's. Clarity -Cut- Colour-Carat

      Garden Glory cause it’s a pretty setting and looks good with even the tiniest diamonds. Of course the director of a major branch of Tiffany doesn’t need to come out and say hey you should only buy a 0.6 Ct diamond cause it makes more financial sense

  • @tang417
    @tang417 6 лет назад

    Personally prefer Verraigio. Has more intricate details. If your going to spend that kind of money its should be all rounder not simply brilliance. Any diamond can be cut to brilliance. Ps. Tacori has some real nice pieces as well. If you want to pay for the name Tiffany is your choice.

      It’s called sales tactic
      That’s how they persuade people to buy their stuff
      Don’t take it so personally, literally every business promotes their stuff like this
      That you won’t be an important person unless you have the most expensive bag, clothes, jewellery, car etc
      Businesses are just there to make money
      It’s up to you if you want to be sucked into it or not
      Over the internet people complain about it but in the real world the advertisement works because there are literally hundreds of thousands of people who put themselves into debt buying the most expensive merchandise there is

      Actually its true...A REAL DIAMOND or LAB DIAMOND...it will do that. There is no stone that Shines like a diamond. There is just something about a diamond that is breathtaking and sparkles in a way that no other stone can. Ive looked at so many diamonds in my life already ..... all kinds of sizes...Diamond is unique. Beautiful. Will defninitely make you smile.
