    How it is compared to the Bluetti eb3a and the Ecoflow river 2?

    • @leewaymodels
      @leewaymodels  13 дней назад +2

      For the EB3A, I made a direct comparison it in the first video I did about the Jump600x that you can access here:
      ruclips.net/video/P7XuaDEf5nw/видео.htmlfeature=shared
      For the River 2, the Jump 600x has more base capacity (about 40wh more by itself) & can be expended to almost 1kwh with the 600x extra battery showed in this video. The inverter is also much bigger then on the River 2 and as such, those tests I did on the Jump 600x with the coffee machine would not have worked with the Ecoflow unit unless you went with the larger River 2 pro .
      However, both the River 2 and the EB3A are more compact, charge faster, have an app available to control / monitor it. They have more "features" like UPS mode and do not need an external power brick.
      The river 2 is around the same price as the Jump600x while the EB3A is pricier.

      @@leewaymodels I wasn't expecting this specific answer! Thank you for that, it is still very hard to choose one of them honestly. I need the most reliable one,thank you again!

      Happy to help. I own all 3 and do not think reliability is a problem on these. If it can help you decide, think of it this way:
      If what you want is a larger inverter with a larger total capacity that can be expended in a value package but you do not care that it charges slower or that it does not have all bells and whistles that the Bluetti & Ecoflow units have, then Jump 600x.
      If you need a compact unit with a lot of features like UPS mode, faster charge and app control but inverter size is not as important, then River 2.
      If you want a both a large inverter and the above features and you do not plan to expend the capacity to 1kwh, then EB3A if you do not mind spending a bit more.

      @@leewaymodels I want to use it for astrophotography with an eq6 pro mount which is using 37A and also to power a mini pc which draws much more less than that. And maybe ocasionally want to charge my phone. That would be all! I red many negative feedback on the river 2 and the eb3a but nothing about the jump 600x , which pishez me more towards the 600x but my main concern is the slow charging, anyways you helped me so much, I just need to decide which one to buy. And can get each of them for the same price £200

      Interresting use! One thing though. The Bluetti and Ecoflow are both very popular. By sheer numbers they outsell Vtoman units several times. When something goes wrong, people are more likely to talk about it around 10x more then when things go well. So at this point it is just a question of statistics. Generally when there is an issue with a unit, it will be out of the box. Make sure you test it out before you use it in your project.

    Looks like Vtoman is cheeping out on components, I got a refurbished one with a new expandable battery, my power station has 2 fans all 4 corners made of aluminum and lid handle just like the expandable battery. Never connect this Vtoman 600x using the battery port to any of the big power stations cause you’ll damage your 600x, I learned that the hard way 😅

      Very interresting. I saw that there was a place to connect a second fan. I was thinking on installing one but I can only recall once when the fan turned on at all so I'm not sure that it would be wroth it. Aluminium corners and handle support would sure be nice. I would've be interested in knowing when your unit was produced and how much it costed back then so we can track when they did the switch. Mine dated back from september 2023.

      Oh yeah, I sure would not plug it to anything else now that you mentioned that!
