OUPES is truly helping by donating units to people that can't afford them. People that may need them for medical reasons or are in dire straits and need help
That's good to know. I have been trying to get any of the companies or the people that review them to see if I can get a donated one as I am in that situation and so far out of about 25 different contacts, nobody will even give a reply. I have given up on it.
The one thing you didn’t cover was that the expansion batteries have their own MPPT solar inputs and 12v/ USB outputs making an expansion battery great for camping on its own.
You really should get a Pecron 3600. Seems like a home run. Only thing it needs to get right is the ability to power something at say 2400 watt and have solar at 400, AC at 1200 and it fills in the rest off the battery. I'm still not sure it can do that.
Enjoyed the review a lot. I know that you shouldn't have to "hack" a product to make it work, but maybe you COULD try putting a couple of wraps of Gorilla Tape or Flex Tape around the wheels to keep them from marring your floors. Just an idea that occurred to me. I haven't tried it myself.
I bought a couple Ankers and then I bought Ecoflow. Ecoflow has a app function called Backup Reserve (under Energy Management). It allows you to set a percentage of battery, and above that it will only charge from solar. Once it falls below that it will draw from grid. But just enough to keep it at the minimum percentage. I will no longer buy a battery that doesn't have that. I wish your reviews would say whether or not the app has that.
Oupes, is one of the better units I would get one for the price, but you guys need to try out the Dabbsson I believe it's really good unit almost as good as the ecoflow but I'll be waiting for that reward for sure Dabbsson try it today 🎉😂
Nice review. I remember the first Oupes review video I watched because he called it Oops. He knew it probably is suppose to be pronounced a different way but stuck with saying oops. Oops is more memorable and sounds cooler than ::Opus::
Would like to see a review on a smaller unit from Oupes. I do live sportscasting and I'm looking for something that is inexpensive and reliable to use with a 60 wh load that can last fo 3-4 hours. Jackery is one that comes up alot but would like to find out all my options. You guys do a very thorough job on reviews. Glad I found this channel!
I got an oupes 2400 and like it. AC inverter is a bit parasitic but most of my use is DC. I like how it can charge fast by solar which is what I use living off grid.
5:25 15 amp max but you forgot that it has a 150v maximum also.. nobody else has this in this range of product.. Eco Anker that's huge. You also talked about lower cost things like the Anderson port.. but forgot to mention it's 30amp.. not many others have this at this level either.. for a camper this is huge. But thank you for mentioning the help project. Nobody else does that.. and yeah wish they could pair up to increase output. But their expansion battery also has 2k solar input. Great video.. and videos.. but yeah missed the two big wins for this. 150v and 30amp 12v
i bought this mega3 unit less then a month ago for my offgrid home, and have been using a generator and solar to recharge it, but just a few days ago it was low power and i needed to get more fuel for the generator to charge it back up and upon returning and going to power it back up it wouldn't turn back on even after many hours of trying to recharge with the ac input it still wont turn back on. i wasnt a fan of the app as i would like more api ability to create switches that could turn on my gas generator automatically when the battery power gets to low and to turn it off when its full with out a load. but at this point it was a almost $2000 paperweight as it still wont turn back on after reading everything i can, but did notice in the dark if i pressed and held the on button i can see a green led glow inside the side vent that will turn back off when i let go of the power button but still screen wont turn on and no power coming from the unit even when plugged in. not a happy customer after this. and if you think about the company and them giving away units to people who may need a backup power source if they have medical equipment, if i was relying on this unit to backup power life saving device and it failed me like it did i would be needing to be rushed to the hospital or dead. luckily for me i have a gas generator that i got from harbor freight for half the cost and it haven't failed me yet other then needing refueled and oil once in a while. personally i feel i should of just upgraded to more solar panels and batteries.
being on disability 2k is not my idea of budget any smaller ones capable of running router and med tronic monitor? need ups feature or mode ,, not picky refurbished or off brand works for me !!! love to learn keep up the info !!!
You should definitely add to the likes that Mega2 and 3 have expandable solar. I got oupes because you can add up to 15kwh of batteries and add a massive 14.7kw of solar and charge the whole unit faster than any solar generator on the matket. I have found no other brand that has the same expandable features as oupes.
I commend all the work y'all are doing on this channel. I can't wait till y'all reap the benefits once all the subs get here. Free units are nice but its not a business yet... I would like to start a channel just so I can get my off grid homestead started with free gear.
I like the independent 20 amp plugs, and the thing I like most is a true 30 amps, from a 30 amp plug. I also like the price. I’m keeping an eye out for reliability. Have you kept it running, if so, any long term feedback? Thanks.
Yup, please do reviews of the "bigger guy" and "smaller guy". Also PLEASE create a Google Sheet comparing all the data from all your testes, and add affiliate links so you can make more money from your work, and we can all have a one-stop-shop to compare all your data! When you run your surge test are putting a full load into the unit? I ask because a true surge only lasts a fraction of a second and if your test is a full high power load that could be causing inaccuracies in your surge test. Just wondered. Great information on all your videos.
I have the mega 3 would love to know if u can charge these via 220-240v. The app says it can at 2500w but the website says no. It’d would come in handy if it did could charge at charging station 1772 adapter
Will u test if the OUPES mega 3 input AC can do 220-240v. The apps says yes but the web says no will u test plz. I have one and too scared to ruin mine, but yours is a review model
Ive heard even on a mildly cloudy day the solar input is terrible. Supposedly once the solar input drops down, it'll take a full 1.5-2 minutes to ramp back up even under full sun.
I would like to see a review of the Fossibot F3600 pro, I'd like to hear your thoughts on it, on Amazon Europe it retails for 1650€ right now which is a good price for what offers. Cheers guys 🥂
Bluetti replaced my AC200P under warranty because the screen failed to come on. Now my three sp200 solar panel have failed, but they are out of warranty. Under full sun, there is no voltage out. Any suggestions?

@@TheSolarLab when you do review it, can you outline why this DP3 still only has 150V input for MPPT? People should be aware of what's coming as Toyota has solid state batteries which are not yet available. I cannot quote a date, prices or sizes but for those who want to know more about solid state batteries, they have no, zero, liquids, no lithium and the life cycles are over the moon. Again, this makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up as I envision the costs might be over the moon as well but I simply don't know. I "think" they will be available before the end of 2026 but its a guess.
So it runs out of juice in under an hour. And then I assume it will take at least 2-3 hours to charge up again, that is if you have enough solar panels. So, it’s pretty much useless in a power outage to run a window AC, fridge and basic appliances continuously since most outages last longer than an hour. That said, it’s basically a $1700 backup battery for your rechargeable vibrator in case you feel extra horny when the grid goes down. Am I missing something here?
@@drjbreland you didn’t understand what I said. I’ve been living off grid with a 15 kWh system I built myself for much less money than I would have spent on these fancy systems. My recommendation is to do both. Have a power station for camping trips, but if you need serious backup power, have a system you assembled yourself for much less cost.

3,500 cycles on the battery to 80% of it's original capacity is what they state.

That's budget!?
Am I missing something here?
so for 1700 bucks you can run a lamp for about an hour?
1 big ass lamp I guess? The lamp in the test is so you can visualize when it shuts off... we've never seen a 3000w lamp before😂
Oops I did it again!
Gotta have a 240V output to be real. Otherwise, you’re just selling camping equipment.
Anker still better 😅
At doing what?
Did I find a clickbait video with someone shilling for a business?
The best budget power station is not a power station at all.
What is it?
@@drjbreland a component system you build yourself for half the cost.
@@JamesAmbrose48that literally makes no sense... Incase you didn't know a power station is something that generates or produce power... 👍🏿
Your music is offensive and overbearing.
BUDGET IM SORRY $1,999 IS NOT BUDGET.
you talk tooooooool much im out
