ULTIMATE Overlanding Power Station | VTOMAN FLASHSPEED 1500 Comparison vs. the Competition

  • This is an overview of my power setup for overlanding and car camping adventures. In the spotlight is the VTOMAN Flashspeed 1500 vs. the competition (the Goal Zero Yeti 1500x, the Jackery Explorer 1500 and the Anker Solix F1500). Will you love it? Or will you regret it? This BUDGET friendly portable power station is making some waves with its INSANE one (1:00) hour charge time and its car jumper cable output! Ya, that's right, you can jump your dead car battery with the VTOMAN Flashspeed 1500. And, I think this is the fastest charging 1500wh class battery on the market today. I personally have a Jackery and an Anker - while they are good in their own ways, when you compare them against the VTOMAN, you'll be left scratching your head asking yourself , why would you pay more for those other 'name brands'? Watch VTOMAN go head-to-head against the big name brands!
    I'll compare the following between each brand: 1) Life Cycles, 2) Charge Time, 3) Size, Weight, Design, 4) Input/Output Options and 5) Safety #vtoman #flashspeed1500 #portablepowerstation #overlanding #camping #carcamping #vanlife #jackery #goalzero #anker

    As someone who owns this unit, I must say I was very skeptical going in but it is that good folks. I have used this for everything around the house when we had an outage due to everyone using an A/C due to heat. I used it for cooking in an electric stove, microwave, fridge, watching TV, keeping the lights on and fans on, and I must say I was absolutely impressed with how much it can handle. When it ran out, I went to my friend’s house and talked for a bit and it was completely charged, and I was on my way. Amazing product for the price. Absolutely recommend!

    I have had the vtoman 1000jump for 1 year. So far it blows everything else out of the water. The one downside is the slower charge time but when compared to similar sized units it is true to the kWh as advertised while all my other friends were much shorter than their advertised kWh.

    I'm diggin that dedicated battery for your fridge. A fridge is on my shortlist. Mack in May, 23 I obtained a Bluette brand 600 watt power station with a sizable solar panel. It was approximately 700 bucks for the package. It came in handy for keeping our Kindles, phones, and flashlights charges during our three weeks camping in the PNW. I'm considering a larger unit for my home. The solar panels were good but needed direct sun to charge at its max capacity. It also can be plugged in to 120 AC.

    • @TrailNewbie
      @TrailNewbie  7 месяцев назад +2

      Ya, a Bluetti 600 is solid for that type of around camp items - and with a solar panel, that’s a decent deal. You could use the Bluetti as your dedicated fridge battery and get something in the 1000 to 1500 range so you can run a ton of other items 🙌🏼 I love this VTOMAN because it has the car jump starter option. If you’re looking for a fridge that’s a solid price point, but still quality - check out the video I did on my ICECO JP50. It’s a really good option and 12% off with my promo code! 😃😃 thanks for watching and for the comment!

    Can you do a 1-2 month review after use?
    I’ve ran a couple brands at 500w for camping, outside daily use, and convenience around the house use.
    Just the other night, my GZ went from 100% to 0 in a couple hours with my daughter’s sleep over.
    It was used to air up a twin mattress, charge 2 mobile phones and a tablet. She has done this exact same thing before and no issues.
    I had to give them my second 500w for the rest of the night.
    I’d like to hear about performance after various uses over time.

    Did you actually spend $799 on this? Or did they send you this for free as a promotional review??? I personally purchased 2 of these and two extra batteries after watching a review after spending just over $4000 came to find out that they didn't work. I asked the company and Amazon to review this product. At first they didn't want to return my money and they didn't want to give me return labels for defective product. This company is shady. After three weeks they admitted that their product is defective and they would return my money. I actually had to get PayPal involved before they were even interested in returning my money. They sent me return labels after three weeks of me showing videos that it didn't work seamlessly. I would highly suggest nobody purchasing this product unless you get it for free. If you get it for free and then you do review, are you gonna do another review in six months when it doesn't work when you got it for free??

Would I now change my order to this one? No, because I want to use my 1800w induction cooktop out on the trail, and the Dabbsson is just a little larger at around 17x10x12 and 55lbs. Plus it is advertised at 4000-4500 cycles to 80% and will also recharge quickly for it's size. With phone app you can even vary recharge speed to help save battery life. The closeout model is just over $1000 and not much different than the newer Plus model which is around $1300. ruclips.net/video/Lm5cD6Ixuk4/видео.html
