Great video as always Greg! Looked like a great time with the boys. I really do need to get out there with you guys one of these days. Thanks again for all the love and support 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Living like kings with that filet. I crave hobo burger foils. Keeping it cheap and simple. Love the video! Gotta take my sous vide out and try it camping.
Right on! Thanks for watching and for the comment!! 👊🏼😃🙌🏼👏🏼 What’s your favorite hobo burger foil recipe?! I’d love to make that on the trail sometime! 😃😃

@@TrailNewbie I swear I’m going to try going out there some day soon. When I see you in these videos on these beautiful mountains, I want to get up and go but easier said than done. You make it look like just another Thursday out in the snow 😆 Thank you brother, keep bringing happiness to peeps like me who love the outdoors but can’t really go out there all too easily. Love your vids ❤️ 🎥

Man! Loved that intro. Awesome seeing you gents together hitting the trails. Definitely JK things, I feel Kevin’s pain on this trip. At least he gets to take it out on the wood haha. Adding Sierra National Forest to the long bucketlist. Great video as always Greg!

Awesome video, love the Christmas tree! Didn’t love the well done fillets though, but get everyone has their own preferences. Stunning scenery - keep it up!😊
Thanks! Ya, the Christmas tree in the wild was a really nice item that added to the ambiance! Ya, when I’m camping I tend to take the cooking temperature up a little - main reason is to ensure that there are no food-borne illnesses issues. When you’re way out in the middle of nowhere - I want to avoid any illness and also avoid any excess trips to the 🚽💩😂 Thank you for watching and for your comment! I really appreciate it! 😀
Thank you so much! I really appreciate the encouragement! Thank you for the comment and for watching! It’s folks like you that make this whole RUclips thing worth it. A lot of work goes into it, and it’s rewarding when I know that people really enjoy it! Thanks again and Happy New Year! 👊🏼👏🏼😃
Happy New Year Greg! Great video and yes Sous Vide are awesome. I'm cooking lobster I caught off So Cal and wild caught tuna a friend fished for 90 miles west of the Columbia River in my Sous Vide for New Years Eve dinner as well as celebrating my first weekend of being retired.
Congratulations on your retirement! That is so awesome! Hoping your retirement means more trips, relaxation, photography and fun! Ya, I love my sous vide. I now have three of them and 4 tanks! Also, I just bought a torch for searing!! Let’s just say I’m going a little overboard! 🛥️ 😊 👏🏼 🙌🏻 Thanks for watching and for your encouragement as always! It’s always a pleasure to hear from you! Cheers! 🥂 Happy New Year!
Great Video as usual Greg!! Love watching videos from the 3 of you... And yes snow camping is tedious with the things you have to be prepared with like when your water freezes 😅. I've been to Bald mountain once, when I didn't have my Gladiator but my Wrangler. But I want to go now that I have my Gladiator.
Ya, you gotta go!! It’s such a great area. So many trail options from easy to “rock crawl”. It’s awesome! Thanks for watching and for commenting! I can always count on hearing from you! 👏🏼🙌🏼👊🏼😃 Happy New Year!

Just started watching your videos guys and there great. Oh and sorry to inform you a guy names mav aka maverick used your water cooking overloading on RUclips before you. But your second I believe. Keep having fun out there and stay safe.
Definitely don’t suggest city folks trying to get to the top of Bald. But, you bring up a good point. I think the small viewership I have generally provokes only those enthusiasts who know how to properly treat our OHVs and public lands. That’s the hope anyway! 😃😅 And, being a resident in Shaver, I’d love to drive some patronage to the town so some people will spend some $ here locally 🙌🏼. Thank you for watching and for the comment/thought. It’s a good reminder as I do these videos for future reference. 👊🏼🙌🏼👏🏼😃🙏🏼
Hi 👋 it’s actually a tailgate table called the Trailgater by Outback Adventures Products. It is the absolute best one out there for the Jeep JL and other vehicles they make them for. The utensil organizer is made by Overland Outfitters and I think it’s called the Cutlery Keeper. It is amazing as well. I’m not affiliated with either company, just incredible products. I did a video that showcases my entire kitchen set up a couple months ago and I think I show the detail of them in that video if you want to check it out. Thank you for watching and for the comment, I really appreciate it! Let me know if you have any other questions!👊🏼😃👏🏼🙌🏼🙏🏼

Great question. I asked Kevin during the trip that same question, and while I don’t remember his answer perfectly - he said because his JK is a manual transmission, it’s just easier when climbing at slow speeds to go 4L and stay in those lower gears. I’ve always driven an automatic, so I keep mine in 4H for the service roads, and then 4H for any significant climb or descent. (On descents to save my brakes!) 😃 If I think of it, I’ll ask him the next time we hang out, and try to provide some additional info here. But, again, I think the main driver was due to his being a manual. Thanks for watching and for the comment! Cheers! 🥂 😃👊🏼🙌🏼👏🏼
