Anyone else find it weird how no one is suprised/baffled by the iron born? If I was a yunkish solider the last thing I would expect would be an attack from raiders from the opposite end of the world.

Tyrion's treatment of Penny shows that he cannot easily let go of the demons in his mind. Everything that happened to him in ASOS is still haunting him and understandably so. PTSD is really difficult to overcome, I just hope that Penny's gentle heart can allow Tyrion to be the man he once was and not follow a self destructive path. Or call me naive, since this GRRM's world we are dealing with and Penny might turn out to be a spy of Petyr Baelish who is just attempting to betray Tyrion at the right moment and we will finally observe our favorite Lannister becoming a monster just like his sister.
I think penny is genuine but that Tyrion will end up killing her and that (or potentially meeting Tysha) will be the breaking point that makes him reevaluate what he wants.

Could you imagine if they adapted this to screen? Everything about this chapter and especially the ending is incredible. The pacing, visuals and characters are all so vivid. The general vibe is just outstanding and the ending with Tyrion catching the dragon piece is just so good!
Im betting five bucks that Daario wasnt faithfull to Dany and plans on betraying her and is curently fucking Malazza the girl general of Yunkai in her tent.
I already felt Daenerys doesn't truly love him, just lusts for him right now. I don't really know of him too well, but I haven't trusted him very much.

Tyrion’s judging Tywin for not fighting at the Green Fork but by the time Tywin was Tyrion’s age Tywin had fought in the War of the Ninepenny Kings as a knight then decimated the Reynes and Tarbecks. I.e. Tywin had nothing more to prove on the battlefield.
@blorghised I don’t think Barristan will survive. He was only made a POV to give eyes to Meereen and now that Tyrion and Victarion are there, Barristan isn’t needed as a POV, so he’s kinda the first obvious person to kill to reduce the POV count. And I think Skahaz is gonna betray him and get him killed.

I personaly just want to see the scene of Victarion, Tyrion, Jorah and Barristan trying to sit in the same room without killing each other... honestly i just want Barristan to have a badass death, going out like a champ defending his queen and dying like a true kingsguard.

She is definitely a spy of Littlefinger. Remember he is the one who organized the dwarf duel at the red wedding....
