I’ve been looking forward to seeing this car in person before ordering one. I had the chance to do that at the Perth 4WD Show and enjoyed checking it out. Some feedback for INEOS - the leg space for the driver is disappointingly limited - I found it uncomfortable not to be able to put my leg/foot down as there is no space to do that. Same feedback from few people who came by. I was hoping that the production vehicle wouldn’t have this issue but was told that any change there is unlikely.

Wow. Some folks are already pretty cynical towards this thing. I definitely ordered mine. The fit and finish of the prototype was actually quite impressive and the build quality was equally as impressive. New for new, there really isn’t much comparison with the Land Rovers of today. The Land Rovers of today have tossed extremely and historically capable off-road prowess into mall crawlers. The Grenadier sort of in a category of its own that more along the lines of a Jeep with a focus on a more manual experience. I think the Grenadier is brilliant. Can’t wait to see how capable and reliable it really is when pushed to its limits regularly in stock form which is exactly what I’m going to do with mine. No doubt. I have a feeling it’s going to be quite impressive. 👍🏻😎👍🏻

I'm not a 4WD person, but I absolutely love the no-nonsense functionality (would prefer a CD player with USB and audio in ports though - though I could settle for just the latter 2). I do have some bad roads in my area, so it would be great for those, as well as allowing me to take a back route to the cafes in my neck of the woods. Love the purposeful shape, the fact it's galvanised, the split tailgate and the chunky bumpers, the front one you can sit on. The fact I could own it for decades also appeals to me.

Ineos please include side curtain airbags for the rear passengers this is extremely important. I want to buy this vehicle very badly, in fact I have never been so excited about any other vehicle but safety for the passengers is paramount so please include side curtain airbags in the rear seats for the production models.
The pickup version makes its global debut in July. That’s the model I’m waiting for.

So are they finally selling them or its still a waiting list car ? It was meant to be with the first customers few months ago but i have not seen any about yet .
I drove UK Military Land Rovers everywhere for 22 years. Desert, Jungle and snow. My right elbow and 6ft frame have suffered. We need a replacement for LWB Landrovers. A Grenadier stripped down of electronics and fancy kit. Priced under £40, 000 closer to £ 30,000 if SWB comes out. The Army would snap it up. Also a huge market at that price. Jim said he wanted a " Non Luxury 4x4" but costs have increased globally. And for me a Grenadier at £50000+ wont make sense. The Landrover Defender is well over priced. And the LR group are struggling with expensive unreliable brand.

Having been a loyal Land Rover fan I’m sorry to say I’m telling my back on JLR and will be ordering in Grenadier as soon as possible.
Hopefully in both formats truck, cab and station wagon, both in dark green, with all the features and alloys, but much be a goodrich, not all terrains!
Consumption does not bother me so we going for a three liter petrol, which I will have rebuilt as a race engine.
And probably the same for the pick up that will become a comp safari or paris dakar car!
What is stable I will have both cars will produce more horsepower than the stock car, which is two gutless in its own right.
With no cat and a straight through exhaust, it sound lovely!
