Easiest way to determine if the MAF (mass airflow) sensor is the problem? Unplug it. Then start the vehicle. Mine fired right up and ran all the way to the parts store.
Our 2005 Subaru Outback XT 2.5L turbo, had a plastic bag sucked into the turbo inlet pipe/engine air intake. Thankfully we were able to remove it and it didn't get destroyed by the turbo and/or sucked into the engine. The car was driven only 1/2 a block in this condition. Now the car stalls immediately after turning on and won't stay on. What could this be?

Sometimes on the second cranks the car doesn’t stall and works fine. I recently changed fuel pump, spark plugs, purge valve, and fuel injectors. Also for a full tank it shows range of 250 km only and 4.8km/L fuel milage. Also I feel the power is wayy below average. Any solutions please 🙏
Just did a cam and lifter job on a hemi 5.7 dodge ram 1500 new timing chain new gas pump battery heads resurfaced new seals everything basically has been upgraded to new and at start up it starts fine but as minutes go by the truck starts to struggle to maintain idle rpm it starts to drop until it stalls, any idea ???
I have a question for you I have a 2008 Corolla and I think battery is bad I can jump it and it starts remove cables and then it dies within a minute or two, can I get your thoughts on this I am so confused. Nice video by the way
Hello. Most likely the alternator is failing. Did the battery light turn on? If it did, replace the alternator. However, make sure to check the battery cables condition for corrosion.

If I hold ignition turned but let starter disengage truck will keep running. If ignition goes to regular location after starting it will die in two min It always starts, then dies in a min or so. All started after hard rain
I accidentally left the windows open overnight and there was a heavy downpour, my whole car got soaked inside. After this it won't stay running after starting it. Before that it was having trouble accelerating after pulling out onto the road or after a red light.

My car was seemingly struggling to get fuel to the engine. My thought was this because when I press the gas, the RPM's go down and I cannot accelerate enough up hills. And you can feel the sputtering and jolting of the car when some does get through. I changed my spark plugs because I thought it was misfiring at first, but now I'm down to the IAC valve or a fuel filter assembly. I bought a new fuel filter for the one inside the fuel tank, but the issue wasn't solved and now my car cannot even idle, but shuts down and same issue with dropping RPM when I press the gas to accelerate.
So I found out I have a fuel filter under the hood, so my thought would be to try the fuel filter first before the IAC valve because the IAC valve is over $300 from toyota.
I got a 2003 Pontiac Bonneville with a 3.8 engine I lost the original ignition key I found the spare I wonder if it's because the spare isn't programmed the chip inside the key or if it even has a chip it starts runs for about 3 seconds and dies
You ever get anywhere with this? Going through the same with a 99 3.4 olds alero. I have already bypassed the anti theft with a resistor. Same result, gonna swap the iac next with a known runner, try and check/clean the egr valve do an intake leak test with the smoke machine. Then swapping the ecm. We'll see... 😅

Carburetor kit,runs fine now,no more stalling
a bad catalytic converter can be causing most of these

You might have a weak battery as well. Check battery voltage it should be 12.6 volts.

My 2007 ford f150 starts and can idle for ever.
As soon as soon as I put it on drive or reverse it stalls, this only happens in cool/cold weather.

imma say dirty fuel injectors also check your spark plugs that you don’t have a oil leak into em could be not running on all cylinders

Clogged or bad idle air control, vacuum leak or bad misfire=very weak ignition coil. But the two first are the most likely issue
