Growing up, I didn’t understand the reference or most of what George was saying, but it made me laugh my ass off. And it’s even funnier now that I know who George Burns was.

I love how even as a kid he still looks old and has a cigar in hand
Should he be smoking

Sounds like Krusty.
budget cut
Krusty stole his act.
Dan Canestella is the voice of George
A lot of my friends thought that was Krusty since we didn't know who George Burns was at the time.
Growing up, I didn’t understand the reference or most of what George was saying, but it made me laugh my ass off. And it’s even funnier now that I know who George Burns was.
What’s the joke?
George Burns was a famous comedian in the 1900s, and one of his trademarks was singing ‘my Old Kentucky Home’

George’s real name was Nathan Birnbaum.
Also the running gag was that George Burns was stingy.
@@davidtucker9498 I thought Jack Benny was the stingy one.

LOL at "Trust me, it'll be funny when I'm an old man"! A hilarious little moment from the show's Golden age.
I knew I would find this somewhere on RUclips
Trust me it'll be funny when im an old man 😂😂
I didn’t know that George Burns could sing his heart out back when he was a little boy.
The funniest part is that he has a cigar. We are presuming that he is five years old, right?
And of course, he sounds like a grown adult. Lol
One of the greatest moments in the history of the entire show! :D
George is younger than C Monty Burns, which means that ole Mr Burns was born no later than 1896.
But George Burns birth name was Nathan Birnbaum...

You can tell it's Dan Castellaneta because he sounds like Krusty.
They set up for a joke that never got made. He never showed up as an old man singing the song. Someday maybe someone will remember George Burns.
