I own nothing of the soda companies this was just my favorite commercial growing up
Those cigars really deepened his voice
Not only do I love this movie, But I love this scene. The look he has when this clip starts, his body language, I been there. This scene always hit home cause of a similar situation I delt with.
It's a great cover
Whatever happened to these videos. Was a great concept with great bands. I didnt realize they had Charly Bliss. I probably watched this before I even got into Charly Bliss.
I think they had copyright issues; so, they had to scrap all of them.
bwum bwum bwum bwum
I remember this as a kid
They really brought it hard to this song.
Hateman had the perfect analysis of this abomination.
Do you think Artie actually blew a guy for crack?
I didn’t know that George Burns could sing his heart out back when he was a little boy.
You can tell it's Dan Castellaneta because he sounds like Krusty.
Sounds like Tommy Pickles is singing.
Welp there goes my comment
The origin of the smashing intro
Whaf
Double entendre, lol.
Would love to find the original from the beginning. It's not here and it's a masterpiece
Best movie ever.
A bwa bwa bwa Oh the sunshine bright on my own Kentucky home a bwa bwa bwa
This clip is vital for my everyday functioning
Does anyone know the song playing in the background?
“Always See Your Face”-Love
@@loyalbaratheon thank you!
Fucking randomly burned in my head
The original cut done for the superbowl is si much better
i often wonder did any child get this joke ?
Maybe when it aired. Not sure how relevant George Burns was in the 90s
i was born in 87 and i knew who he was when this aired. i dont think he was dead yet at the time ('95) but he still made appearances and was parodied often then anyway. today's generation? hell no lol
That’s an odd thing to wonder considering The Simpsons is 100% a show for adults. Just because something is a cartoon doesn’t mean it’s aimed at children
It’s just so good. They are having the most fun.
Ist er nicht zu jung, um zu Rsuchen?😕
whom ever does the PA for this location is god like
She sounds so much like Kim from The Breeders
ITS BACK
Smashing
Still makes laugh at 40
I think Family Guy stole this joke. Only it wasn't George Burns, it was Kathy Griffin.
they brought it back YAY
They knock this cover out of the park.
My man Paul Rudd plays in a band?
HehHeh
My first exposure to Charly Bliss back whenever this was first uploaded. Fantastic band.
This was also my first exposure to them. Still a fan to this day.
Same! I saw them shortly after and got to talk to them about how awesome this cover was. They're now one of my favorite bands.
Same here! I kept coming back to this vid, until eventually I thought "they've drawn me back to this song so many times, it's earned them a deeper listen for sure." I was instantly 100% all-aboard the Charly Bliss train after the first song I heard, which was Westermarck. Loved them ever since.
Same, underrated band
Also my first exposure to Charly Bliss. Loved then from day one, sometimes you find a band that just works!
Be You
say goodnight, monty
They set up for a joke that never got made. He never showed up as an old man singing the song. Someday maybe someone will remember George Burns.
He sang other songs as an old man
“A joke that never got made”??? George Burns DID sing this song as an old man - in real life. That IS the joke. 🤦🏻♂️
I love this scene with his sister just calling him a fucking asshole, leaving, and then he smiles. It's both part of the script and his real smile.
Hes five. He looks about ten.
If only I can find gogol bordello cover of torn
Growing up, I didn’t understand the reference or most of what George was saying, but it made me laugh my ass off. And it’s even funnier now that I know who George Burns was.
What’s the joke?
George Burns was a famous comedian in the 1900s, and one of his trademarks was singing ‘my Old Kentucky Home’
@@cosmicfool3334a combo of George Burns, who when this ep was made was the oldest famous celeb around, being Mr Burns’ YOUNGER brother, and the idea that young George Burns would just be a pint-sized version of his elderly self.
the irony is a joy to behold
i think sam is so cool with those bgvs
Why is this so funny?😂😂😂
I don't get it
@@Boobquake its drunk humor
Such a shame that the scene related to that phone call was cut from the film
God. She is so sexy.
Great Video!!!
his whole body language and snarky reply is just a mood in itself lmao great scene
The funniest part is that he has a cigar. We are presuming that he is five years old, right? And of course, he sounds like a grown adult. Lol
Nice to see this back on YT!
Theory: High Fidelity is a prequel to School of Rock
Holy shit
amazing! it works
"I've been touched by your kids and I'm pretty sure I've touched them" I unironically can picture Barry saying this.
And Tenacious D The Pick Of Destiny is a sequel for School Of Rock
BO BO BOOOO
