Its even more impressive because the "monkeys" in that scene is used to refer to humanity as a whole, which means that the racist guy watched a scene where he himself was part of the discriminated group, and still walked away with a positive view of it
Yeah like it's so wild. The entire point of that scene is to show how Suguru Geto dehumanizing people and treats them as expendable and the DM went, "OMG that's so me!"
Yes, its because of the white supremacy, they believe they are not like the rest of humanity, in his mind he is completely different and of higher worth than the rest of the world.

The last story, when you mentioned how Asexual/Aromantic people can have loving relationships, I can relate to that as someone who's current partner is Asexual and Aromantic. It took me a while to accept and understand that, partly because of my own ignorance, and they had incredible patience to deal with that. Been with them for a bit over a decade and they are my life partner
@@Dragongamz1 Gotta agree though - we all need someone to accompany us in touching grass. with our backs. at night. stargazing. I'm aromantic/asexual myself we still feel love and attraction just in a different way as I say I'm just a personality guy if we get along and have a mutual bond of love and respect that's all that's needed for a healthy relationship people need to understand attraction isn't needed at all for a persons body as long as there's love between them
@CrispysTavern Thank you for sharing my story! Im the person with the Imaginary friend and is easily one of my favorite memories. I still tease my uncle about being a "murderer" over 25 years later. And your skit pretty much summed up my Dads reaction. Poor dude was SO confused
your uncle sounds like an awesome dude. it was so nice to hear a wholesome story. im curious, did you ever post that story of how your uncle taught the lesson "just because a grownup is in charge doesnt mean theyre a good guy"? or any other lessons? i love wholesome content
The Jujutsu Kaisen bit, was from a character, Suguru Geto, who views all people who don't use sorcery as "Monkeys" and despises them, due to the fact that they cause evil spirits to pop up and rely on Sorcerers to save them all the time. He also hates regular people because he got the shit beat out of him by someone with zero cursed energy (which made caused him to be ridiculously superhuman) named Toji, and said dude also almost killed his best friend and headshotted another friend in front of his face. Toji referred to himself as a monkey whilst taunting Geto, and he honest to god just never let that shit go.
Frankly that's one of the problems I have with a lot of discrimination allegories: the racist or xenophobe or what have you always has a logical, rational justification. Orcs sided with the bad guy a thousand years ago, or vampires eat people, or robots kill and replace humans, or whatever. Real world dehumanization *isn't rational or justified.*
@@etcetera1995 Yeah, IRL the only 'justification' people will use for their -ism is either based on missconception, but the truth is it can be resumed to "They're different from what I envision being normal so they shouldn't be respected." But to be fair, many others become -ism because they tend to take a "situation" they fell victim from and make it a "generality". Which is the case here with Geto and his clique.
4:04 this cracked me up so much. It's so cute and sweet, but it's also so funny cause the dad is like "??? What happened??" and the uncle is like "shhh. Just let it happen"
Twisted romantic fantasies If It helps, I have also read tales of gay/lesbian players trying to force relationships with straight characters or use the campaign as a vehicle to insert their romance stories between npcs
@@user-unos111either way it’s shitty thing to do Tw past this point I was in a campaign playing a lesbian character- the DM was hellbent on getting her pregnant. To the point that he REGREW MY CHARACTERS ENTIRE UTERUS JUST TO GET HER FORCEFULLY PREGNANT. So I killed off that character and the DM kicked me out.
Because people like that don’t believe orientations other than straight are real. They swear that they have the magic touch that’ll rewire brains into being heterosexual. It’s super icky
I was playing a sci-fi table top game that a friend made up where I found a horse sized four legged raptor creature which with a good roll and some preserved food I found; adopted the creature and named it "Baby". I became very attached to this creature, to the point that I even took a skill tree in animal handling and animal mount so I could communicate and ride Baby in battle. There was a hard battle at one point that almost killed Baby. I was so scared of loosing him that I was on the verge of tears. So yeah, players can get very attached to npc's.
Being someone who doesn’t get romance and is ass at flirting, I never try to initiate character romances in my games. However I have had players who wanted them, whether with other PCs or NPCs. Two of my friends who played in my games and had characters that sought out relationships towards other characters (but never each other’s characters) ended up falling for each other out of game and now they’re getting married! Funny how that happens sometimes
No one needs fixing !!! Hi comments section, I am the author of the last story, I asked Crispy to keep it anonymous when I sent it in. Yes, I am a Zelda nerd, I'm glad Crispy caught on. I did remember many of the player character names but I didn't want to embarrass any of the players or DM now because this was 17-18 years ago! People grow up and shouldn't be ragged on for something dumb they did as kids/teens/early 20s. Crispy, I really enjoy everything you put into this this with commentary and skits! Especially the music change when the story changed.
Thank you for fiving me hope. Another enby, autistic ace here. I'm constantly afraid that I'll never find a spouse, but stories like yours make me fele better.
I LOVED that "A Wholesome One" story. What a great Uncle and Dad, and using Dnd as a life teaching and academic tool is a great idea! Best way to get a kid interested in what they are learning is to make it relatable and most of all, fun!
The story about the DMPC was so sweet! Props to the uncle for creating a character who their nibling really connected to. While it must've been hard at the time, the writer obviously looks back on that experience as significant and even a good one. That's so wonderful!
Hi, I'm the kiddo in the story. Yes my uncle is the BEST and I still tease him over 25 years later about being an imaginary friend killer, lol. My Dad was also awesome and was so confused, I miss him
So true about the Nice Guys latching onto things. One time I was gonna hang out with a loose aquaintance. We made the plans and he said, "It's a date then." And I was like, "Yup." Later he confesses to me and I tell him I don't like him like that. He TRIES TO CONVINCE ME THAT I LIKE HIM, and he uses me saying yes to his comment as proof that I had feelings for him. Nice Guys are insane lol
That was indeed a DM problem. When I played my Sphinx in 3.5 my DM compensated the rest of the party so we were all on the same level. My DM at the time was very good and didn't mess about with stuff like that.
I would have completely missed him too, it looked way too dangerous to touch. But I was playing with a friend who told me to just go and poke it, otherwise we wouldn't find our wizard friend
That story of the problematic DM reminded me of a bullet I nearly dodged where I applied to a gaming group online, wanting to see if I can find a group interested in dark stories and this one group asked how I was with humour and claimed that they lost a member of their group because they were being "too sensitive" in regards to their Meme channel, which sounds WAAAY too similar to this same guy...
14:25 The character that says that is a bad guy who views non sorcerers (essentially the universe's magic users) as lesser beings. In that scene he was basically just saying "I can gain power form them and money and thats about all they're good for" The character does call these non sorcerers monkys' however, and the fact that THIS guy was posting THAT clip it means he probably agrees with the character, or just likes that the guy said monkys' (even if they weren't referring to black people) Anyway watch/read JJK its amazing
@@scriptorpaulina... That's fucking stupid. Sorcerers have magic, in what universe does it make sense for them to need protection from less powerful people???
I'm thinking of running a Pathfinder campaign for middle/high schoolers over the summer and billing it as a way to "keep math skills, social skills, and creative thinking sharp."
Always love that you include lil asexual affirmations and tips whenever the topic comes up to help those who don't understand get a little window into how we work. I'm a romantic asexual myself, this year is my 10 year anniversary with my SO and we've never had issues.
14:28 Oh jeez Im a black JJK fan, and I'll admit I sometimes joke around about that line because out of context, it is kinda silly. But legit that entire scene is just him dehumanizing non-sorcers based on some guy calling himself a monkey years ago 18:39 Additionally, as a Gale enjoyer, I am deeply saddened by this information
I enjoy dark humor. GOOD dark humor doesn’t punch down. I make dark jokes about my own struggles(mental health, being queer, etc) but I also know that if someone gets uncomfortable by it, I apologize. Jokes doesn’t always land folks, you just gotta read the room.
Hey Crispy, in case u see this I wanted to let you know how much I value you as a person and as a content creator. I’ve been going through a long stretch of poor mental health, and your videos are one of the few things I genuinely look forward to day to day. I appreciate your input on the things you read and I appreciate your dedication to consistently putting out quality, genuinely entertaining content that leaves me feeling in just a little bit better of a mood for 30 minutes every other day. Just a long winded way of saying thank you for being and doing you❤️
No one needs fixing. Also, that first "horror" story was the exact opposite of horror, it was honestly really sweet. I'd love to see more stuff like that on the channel, if anything to break up the feelings of disgust and discomfort from the usual horror stories lol
Jesus, is the 2nd DM the dude who got on a tirade because one of his stream viewers said she had some stuff going on? "Hey, what's up? "Nothing good. Had a death in the family..." "Oh my god, way to bring the mood down! There are only two responses! I'm doing okay, or I've been better! Never bring that shit in my stream again!" "Bruh, what the fuck?"
The panic character creation: when I have to make something like right this second, I end up just playing an NPC from an old campaign. They're fun, and it's fun to explore their personalities more, but I feel weird not making something new.
Imperial or Stormcloak. Depends which one of my Skyrim players I'm playing. Because if it's my current one he doesn't care about either. He just cares about either. He only really cares about Daedric artifacts, and trying to get with any daughter of Coldharbour he finds just to anger Molag Bal.
That sounds like such a cool run. My current character is focused on getting to the College of Winterhold and mastering magic, though she keeps getting sidetracked with trying to help people. She probably won’t go the Civil War route either, though I’ll have to think about her reactions to the Thalmor dossier on Ulfric Stormcloak and other related quests
10:58 Not necesarrily about D&D specifically but about growing skills in general I'm an artist, and a piece of advice i have heard repeatedly is that the difference between a beginner and someone more skilled is that the more skilled someone is the more they should be able to explain why they made the decisions you did, there is nothing more telling than someone who falls back on how long they've been doing something or someone who just gets defensive when questioned as if their genius shouldn't be questioned. So i think you're spot on there
No one needs fixing. Although some could use a little adjustment. To the guy in the last story and in the voice of the NYPD Blue Character Andy Sipowicz, "Somebody smacking you in the back of the head for six straight hours would be to your benefit."
The relationship analogy between amity and boscha against amity and luz is great it really shows the difference between a healthy relationship and an unhealthy one No one needs fixing
Omg so the story with the dwarf death, cute, veey wholesome. The following story: Wow, that paid DM has a high opinion of themselves. Even 30 years of experience doesn’t prevent you from making mistakes and misjudgements.
You know. It really makes you wonder. How many problem DMs and players read these posts and realise that the post is about them. Then I wonder how many read the comments on the post and realise that they are the problem.
Using big words incorrectly in order to appear more intelligent is called "malapropism". Shakespeare's plays make a lot of use of it... There's a movie where Michael Keaton plays such a character in a humorously unhinged fashion. I'm thinking it was Much Ado About Nothing... the one with Keanu Reaves as the villain.
You are correct! Keaton's character was the local constable and his name was Dogberry, and he used the opportunity to really chew the scenery--it was great!
24:02 min: This is probably the most disrespectful thing I've ever experienced. And I'm sure our edgelord didn't even realise it. O.o He says here that his Naga lover died in childbirth. Nagas are reptiles and lay eggs. So his "beloved" died of constipation, which is probably the most undignified way of dying I can imagine. O.O
My first encounter with the Imperials was basically Hadvar, and while most of the Imperials were fine executing me just because, he's sitting here saying "but they're not on the list, perhaps this was a mistake?" My first encounter with the Stormcloaks was that guy telling us how we should be proud to die alongside his lord. Add to that knowing that the Stormcloaks are pretty racist. My impression of the Imperials is that they're weak and refuse to stand up to the Elves (granted the elves are stronger in military terms so there's some understandable reluctance to go to war here) while the Stormcloaks are actively abusive and dismissive of life. So, Imperials.
My first playthrough was as an Argonian so I basically looked at all of that as a "You sort that crap out yourselves. I'm literally just a foreigner here." Until they made it my business because I was the "Special". I'll never forget the meeting between both factions where I was expected to carve up their territories like a cake and I gave some area to the Imperials that Ulfric didn't like. Told me I wasn't a "true son of Skyrim." Wow Ulfric. What gave me away?
On the intro story-- You know, I too have played under a GM that the rest of the table thought was great but I didn't have fun with his campaign. I didn't see the need to send him a scathing message lambasting him and the rest of the group though.
Destroying undead in 3.5 worked differently than it did in 5e. At least from what I remember you needed to have at least twice as many cleric levels compared to the hit dice of the undead that you were trying to turn. It’s kinda like how 3.5 Paladin’s Smite Evil and 5e Paladin’s Divine Smite are different, although 5e Paladin’s Divine Smite is much closer to the 3.5 Holy Smite spell.
The player in that story tried to hide behind rules of turn undead vs player characters, assuming that the character he sent me was in use. However, I removed all the character levels he added to the NPC version of himself. In 3.5, the CR level of what was destroyed is 1/2 cleric level. The PCs could destroy lvl 4 and below, and it was basically a low level vampire fighter npc.
For me, I write down an idea for a character and then for a while just writing it out. From there, I'll just fine tone it which could take a few months, I'm slow. Thought there is one character I've been working on for years now because I've added a few more details to her then I normally would for my characters.
yea one of my players got attatch to jesus the female cat.. yes no one in the party had any animal skills, so it was first much later that there check to see if jesus the cat was male or female. something the most random npcs can be the most important to the players.
I had a character who fell in love with a vampire during a Curse of Strahd campaign. From my expirence, it can work as long as both players communicate their expectations and boundries. A bit about my story: I was playing a half elf cleric princess named Zelda Alagondar. She was sent to Barovia, from Neverwinter, to marry a random noble in Strahd's court. This arrangement would allow Strahd to gain influence on the Sword Coast as his goal was to escape Barovia. About halfway through the game the party gained two more PC's, both were vampires connected to Strahd. We were down two fighters at the time so the DM allowed these characters. The first vampire was Alexander Von Roeyen-Zarovich (brother of Strahd and Sergei Von Zarovich) and the other was Evelyn Sunstar (daughter of Jander Sunstar and mortal enemy of Strahd). Long story short, after a lot of roleplay and characer development Zelda and Alexander fell in love, naturally pissing Strahd off. Throughout this subplot my friend and I communicated almost dailly to pervent character bleed or drama in the group for as long as possible. Things eventually got tense and awkward but we worked things out as they came up and tried to remain as respeectful to the party as possible. Overall I believe it was one of my best D&D stories.
Playing with him was a treat for roleplay. as a DM I kept track of what personality he was on, as did he, but the other players never really paid attention. It was a fun time of "evil character done right"
After latest campaign I played ended up with the end of the world (not the whole world, but part relevant for the plot) finale (but in a cool and fun way) because one of PCs was trying BBEG, and secretly sabotaging our attempts to stop it, I sure agree "nobody needs to be fixed". Millions of innocent bystanders died, our PCs meet fate worse than death, BBEG also died. But it was one of the best and most cathartic campaign ending I ever had! (both the rest of the party and GM are agree with it, praising player for being witty and badass while setting the plot on fire) Guess it could be a horror story at the other table with other people, but here it was really cool!
The Fourth story: Yeah that guys hella racist and just trying to find other folk who think the same, their whole deal is to BE hella racist but if anyone calls them on it, make excuses and hope the other players back them up to find equally as racist ppl or enablers who will go with w/e. They exist just to be weird rage bait stories about ppl in their games being 'overly' sensitive. =/ Dont stick around them, if they give the vibe, LEAVE their whole bit is riding the line constantly.
Reminds me of a Exandria campaign I got in. 1st session, while we're going through our turns in combat in a tavern, one dude posts a "meme" in the channel involving the N-Word and I noped out of the campaign the moment the session was done.
That last one sounds uncomfortably similar to the first group I played DnD with. I don't think it's them, but they sound similar enough to make me feel like I dodged a bullet and, admittedly, cringe from remembering I was an overactive idiot then, but still
when i binge these videos i feel like a crazy drunk in the actual tavern putting my ear to the wall listening in. "dude what are you doing" "shhhhHHHhhhhh.. the rat is talking again, he dose funny skits" "just leave him-" "SSSHHHHHHHHHH"
I do have a lot of awkwardness dealing with when I've noticed something in my language that I suddenly realize is a slur (or at least questionable) that has worked itself into common speech enough that most people aren't aware of it due to systemic cultural abelism, racism, sexism, or other such bigotry. I've described my method of interacting with people as relying on scripts based on watching how other people handle similar circumstances... and as a kid this would be as much drawn from pop culture as from family. I have tendency to over-correct and apologize when I catch it myself (I think Crispy may have already seen that in some of my emails, I think I've done three emailed stories, one of which got read) because I hate making other people feel bad. I've been working on trying to avoid shining a light on the mistake in my kneejerk because I know that can be just as bad. So... I can almost almost feel sorry for "I've got black friends" guy ... on the first instance... but even that first one was at the very least in poor taste and even I know that. Younger me would probably also stay though... because it took a long while for me to learn the "no RP is better than bad RP" lesson, but these days, I'd like to think that was a stand up and walk out line once the rest of it started to appear.
In jujutsu kaisen ( 14:20 ) the only character referring to others as "monkeys" is Suguru Geto, who's talking about every non-jujutsu sorcerer person that he wants to "get rid of" if you know what I mean so that's... Yeah
Man, I don’t see anyone mentioning the use of the dropping internet as a time to switch between personalities that the paladin/anti-paladin decided on. I thought that was cool.
14:36 I know the scene the OP is describing, and like. it doesn’t justify the first video at all. jujutsu kaisen has a bad guy, who sees all other members of humanity as being beneath him. He would consider any given regular human a “monkey”, because he thinks not having powers, makes a person like an animal. there is nothing about it that would ever like, justify spiderman saying stuff about black stereotypes.
Our party had a character strongly disagree in character with another PC's choice. So the party member left and another PC came in. There was zero drama and a nontoxic "it was what my character would do" moment.
I know the feel of being the only black guy in a not traditionally black hobby, its super rough because you almost feel like you have to jump over landmines like ops story to varying degrees, i like my current table though, they're all pretty nice people for the most part
the NPC my character got most attached to was a throwaway kobold we were only meant to encounter once, he ended up being integral to my character's arc lmao
thanks for the video. that wholesome story was so sweet, and such a good learning opportunity. ah a great way to start off the stories. the tad racist one, doesn't surprise my, but horrifies me all the same. like I felt the need to warn a potential group, that the world that a one shot takes place in, has slavery in it, even tough that is not the focus of the one-shot (train robbery is), that it might come up if they go poking around. so I can't imagine just going at it that way like yikes. that "I can fix her" audited is so gross, there's nothing to fix, people just aren't interested sometimes. my Ex said that line too me, and yha he's my Ex for a reason.
Oh, what the heck. XD "Unfortunate" doesn't begin to describe my series, this game rewards blind luck and nothing else, I am beyond convinced at this point. After getting completely tooled by scheduling with my opponent changing times on me last minute and refusing to provide confirmation prior to the day of the match as to play times, losing this way somehow felt even worse than I had thought possible. My preparation was superior, my play was superior, and I lost, so I don't see a reason to continue engaging in an activity where what is within my control is overwhelmingly outweighed by what is not. I am done with competitive Pokemon, and you won't get a fond farewell. This community is infected to its roots with a degenerative disease that grows stronger over time but stops short of killing its host. Tournaments used to have a competitive spirit at their heart, this has been transplanted and replaced with an artificial organ that feeds on vitriol and mockery from insecure little boys that heckle by the sidelines and tear each other to shreds over scraps of attention. The environment we fostered has trapped us all like this in a vicious cycle, and escaping it requires acceptance of the harshest reality we all scramble to explain away, that none of the countless straining efforts we put ourselves through here will ever amount to one single shining glimmer of significance. I would make this the end, but World Cup is still ongoing, and I would never leave so many great friends out to dry, so I'll suffer through a few more games for them. One last thing before I leave you all to react with disdain, ridicule, and self-righteous fervor, before you do everything in your power to minimize my words and thoughts, box them up and shove them to some cobwebbed corner of your memory, and hope they disappear forever as a stain on your finite time ground to dust. From this moment on, nothing you say matters to me. The foulest insults you hurl with intent to wound will calmly settle at the earth before my feet, and the venom you spit will bring all the pain of a warm summer breeze. You are less than anything you can conceive, while I carry on, brimming with joy distilled from detachment.

@@etcetera1995 Yeah, IRL the only 'justification' people will use for their -ism is either based on missconception, but the truth is it can be resumed to "They're different from what I envision being normal so they shouldn't be respected."
But to be fair, many others become -ism because they tend to take a "situation" they fell victim from and make it a "generality". Which is the case here with Geto and his clique.
On a rewatch I noticed the whole Toji calling himself a monkey thing. Geto really didn’t let that slide
4:04 this cracked me up so much. It's so cute and sweet, but it's also so funny cause the dad is like "??? What happened??" and the uncle is like "shhh. Just let it happen"
The story of the uncle teaching op dnd and op insisting on a funeral in game for a dmpc.. Man that was so sweet ;;0;;
What is WITH people thinking they can "cure" their players/DMs of their orientation, augh!
Twisted romantic fantasies
If It helps, I have also read tales of gay/lesbian players trying to force relationships with straight characters or use the campaign as a vehicle to insert their romance stories between npcs
@@user-unos111either way it’s shitty thing to do
Tw past this point
I was in a campaign playing a lesbian character- the DM was hellbent on getting her pregnant. To the point that he REGREW MY CHARACTERS ENTIRE UTERUS JUST TO GET HER FORCEFULLY PREGNANT. So I killed off that character and the DM kicked me out.
@@Ax-xo4ux
Yikes. Better hope that doesn't reflect a creepy attraction to you.
Because people like that don’t believe orientations other than straight are real. They swear that they have the magic touch that’ll rewire brains into being heterosexual. It’s super icky
@Ax-xo4ux WTF?!? Good on you for not letting him go through with it, what a creep
That “Wholesome One” story was so sweet, honestly. ❤

Awesome! ^-^ That's great to hear, and a happy ending. Of course, life goes on after any stories end, and I'm glad everything is going swell.
We love a Good/Golden Ending 👏👏👏
As a fellow married autistic asexual, I appreciated your story so much ❤
Thank you for fiving me hope.

/me handshake memes with Crispy about missing Gale because of not wanting to approach the obviously dangerous portal
count me in too, I missed Gale because I was so 'cautious and smart' haha
It looked like it was going to blow up, i was avoiding that so hard
I didn't trust it but im a curious fella so I wound up saving before approaching it. I was this close 👌 to missing it though
I would have completely missed him too, it looked way too dangerous to touch. But I was playing with a friend who told me to just go and poke it, otherwise we wouldn't find our wizard friend
I'm on my second play through and I just learned from this video that that's how you get Gale. Ooooops. XD
No one needs fixing.
(As for the outtake - given 90% of the folk I've played TTRPGs with, 'we gather here to gay' feels accurate)
14:25 The character that says that is a bad guy who views non sorcerers (essentially the universe's magic users) as lesser beings. In that scene he was basically just saying "I can gain power form them and money and thats about all they're good for" The character does call these non sorcerers monkys' however, and the fact that THIS guy was posting THAT clip it means he probably agrees with the character, or just likes that the guy said monkys' (even if they weren't referring to black people)
Anyway watch/read JJK its amazing
It’s sort of more complicated, since he wants to keep sorcerers safe BY killing non-sorcerers 8(
Also yeah he definitely thinks of African descent people as monkeys ooooofff
@@scriptorpaulina I know but there's only so much I can say in a single comment. Hidden inventory my beloved

But legit that entire scene is just him dehumanizing non-sorcers based on some guy calling himself a monkey years ago
18:39 Additionally, as a Gale enjoyer, I am deeply saddened by this information
Honestly it also happened to me, almost finished act 1 without until I googled where I was supposed to recruit him haha 😭
Being nice is not a personality, it’s not an incredible asset, it’s the bare minimum you need for being a human in society. ITS NOT SPECIAL!!!
I enjoy dark humor. GOOD dark humor doesn’t punch down. I make dark jokes about my own struggles(mental health, being queer, etc) but I also know that if someone gets uncomfortable by it, I apologize. Jokes doesn’t always land folks, you just gotta read the room.
“I can fix you” only works if you’re talking to a robot …
Well, that’s my hot-take on the issue anyway 🤔
Hey Crispy, in case u see this I wanted to let you know how much I value you as a person and as a content creator. I’ve been going through a long stretch of poor mental health, and your videos are one of the few things I genuinely look forward to day to day.

No one needs fixing. Also, that first "horror" story was the exact opposite of horror, it was honestly really sweet. I'd love to see more stuff like that on the channel, if anything to break up the feelings of disgust and discomfort from the usual horror stories lol
Lol that poor dad. He did a good thing for his kid, and all it cost him was a few minutes
Jesus, is the 2nd DM the dude who got on a tirade because one of his stream viewers said she had some stuff going on?
"Hey, what's up?
"Nothing good. Had a death in the family..."
"Oh my god, way to bring the mood down! There are only two responses! I'm doing okay, or I've been better! Never bring that shit in my stream again!"
"Bruh, what the fuck?"
The panic character creation: when I have to make something like right this second, I end up just playing an NPC from an old campaign. They're fun, and it's fun to explore their personalities more, but I feel weird not making something new.
I audibly said oh no when I realised what was coming for the poor dwarf
10:58
Not necesarrily about D&D specifically but about growing skills in general
I'm an artist, and a piece of advice i have heard repeatedly is that the difference between a beginner and someone more skilled is that the more skilled someone is the more they should be able to explain why they made the decisions you did, there is nothing more telling than someone who falls back on how long they've been doing something or someone who just gets defensive when questioned as if their genius shouldn't be questioned.
So i think you're spot on there

I myself feel ace flux, im not to confident... somewhere on the ace spectrum.
Keaton's character was the local constable and his name was Dogberry, and he used the opportunity to really chew the scenery--it was great!
since crispy asked, the empire, i just don't play as a nord so I don't think i'd have any reason to join the stormcloaks
24:02 min:
This is probably the most disrespectful thing I've ever experienced. And I'm sure our edgelord didn't even realise it. O.o
He says here that his Naga lover died in childbirth. Nagas are reptiles and lay eggs. So his "beloved" died of constipation, which is probably the most undignified way of dying I can imagine. O.O
It's a real concern, to be fair. It's called egg binding
My first encounter with the Imperials was basically Hadvar, and while most of the Imperials were fine executing me just because, he's sitting here saying "but they're not on the list, perhaps this was a mistake?"
My first encounter with the Stormcloaks was that guy telling us how we should be proud to die alongside his lord.
28:32 “no-one needs fixing!”
Omg, that kid is precious
@@meddygon Ahh that makes even more sense then. I don’t know why he’d assume that you’d keep character levels for an NPC.
@@DANTVSVERGIL I think he rejected reality and substituted his own
For me, I write down an idea for a character and then for a while just writing it out. From there, I'll just fine tone it which could take a few months, I'm slow. Thought there is one character I've been working on for years now because I've added a few more details to her then I normally would for my characters.
Can confirm that I am subbed to czepeku. I recently started picking up some of their animated maps

RIP the Dwarf
yea one of my players got attatch to jesus the female cat.. yes no one in the party had any animal skills, so it was first much later that there check to see if jesus the cat was male or female. something the most random npcs can be the most important to the players.
I had a character who fell in love with a vampire during a Curse of Strahd campaign. From my expirence, it can work as long as both players communicate their expectations and boundries.
A bit about my story:
I was playing a half elf cleric princess named Zelda Alagondar.
I love the Internet dropping paladin
(both the rest of the party and GM are agree with it, praising player for being witty and badass while setting the plot on fire)
Guess it could be a horror story at the other table with other people, but here it was really cool!
"I even made my dad go to the funeral, even though he wasn't part of the campaign." That's prettty based!
Took me way too long (granted, I wasn’t paying FULL attention) to realize the Zelda references. Love it.
I totally did the exact same thing with the portal that has Gale. I'm paranoid and was like "nah, I'm not dying today" lol

I’m so glad to hear I’m not the only one who missed Gale for exactly the same reason
The wholesome one is so good ❤❤❤
14:36 I know the scene the OP is describing, and like. it doesn’t justify the first video at all.
jujutsu kaisen has a bad guy, who sees all other members of humanity as being beneath him.

That intro one sounds like it could like it could be a copypasta. It actually reminds me of the Lavos rant from Pokémon Showdown. XD
Oh, what the heck. XD
"Unfortunate" doesn't begin to describe my series, this game rewards blind luck and nothing else, I am beyond convinced at this point.
13:58 Imperial, I can't stand the racist stormcloacks.
