It's about these learned and we'll read actors/people. They have it in them to bring out so much interest. You can see him going through all that artwork in his normal life so that he can make it more engaging with no effort. Also, he is not anal about out, a big-time Sarab fan and I still don't believe bollywood has done justice to him.
Jim's aura in this video is incredibly distinct compared to his promotional interviews, which often come across as monotonous and one-sided. This truly speaks to the captivating nature of the conversation and the seamless manner in which it was orchestrated. Kudos to the Chalchitra team for your excellent work! I've been following the channel since its early days, and witnessing its remarkable growth is truly heartening❤
It's refreshing to witness Jim truly relishing the entire experience. Unlike some interviews for his projects where repetitive questions seem to test his patience, here he appears to be genuinely enjoying himself.
just wanted to acknowledge that little moment when Jim didn't share the book he was reading, sort of gatekeeping the book he considers special maybe. and Vaibhav appreciates the gatekeep coz as much as he loves to passionately recommend things, he also loves gatekeeping some stuff, for example, the music that he listens to! :)
My baba was also a great admirer of Jim Corbett. He had all his books. The fascination with which he tells little anecdotes from his books reminds me of my baba. He would remember things the same way and have such great story telling skills. We would listen to him with rapt attention ❤. Jim stirred that core memory. Thanks
Best conversation ever!! Only these guys can talk about Chimpanzee politics and keep us on the edge of our chairs. Just the BEST!!! Jim Sarbh's love for everything is so infectious and Vaibhav is a phenomenal host who gives enough freedom for him to be himself. PHENOMENAL!!
One of the most perfect conversations ever. Jim Sarbh is truly one of a kind. Such an intellectual. Such a straightforward, honest person. Absolutely brilliant stuff, Chalchitra Talks!
17:47 The quote seems to convey a sense of surrender and acceptance of life's uncertainties and outcomes. 1. **"You live your life as if it's real":** This suggests that individuals go through life as if they are in control and making choices based on their perceptions of reality. 2. **"The evidence accumulates that you are not running the show":** Over time, experiences and events may show that despite feeling in control, there are external factors and forces beyond individual control that influence outcomes. 3. **"You still have to make choices as if you were running the show":** Despite realizing the lack of absolute control, individuals must continue to make decisions and take actions as if they do have control. 4. **"But you make the choices with intuitive understanding that it's unfolding as it must":** While making decisions, there's an awareness that events are unfolding according to their own natural order, and some things are beyond human manipulation. 5. **"And if you can relax in that...":** If you can find a state of calm and acceptance in this understanding... 6. **"If you can even touch it or if it asserts itself from time to time...":** If you can occasionally connect with or experience this perspective... 7. **"Then the invincible defeat is transcended":** Then, the feeling of being overpowered by defeat or challenges that seem invincible is overcome or surpassed. It implies that when one reaches a state of acceptance and alignment with the natural course of events, the sense of being defeated by life's challenges becomes less significant or powerful. In essence, the quote seems to suggest that finding a balance between making choices while recognizing the limits of control and surrendering to the unfolding of life can lead to a sense of peace and transcendence over seemingly insurmountable defeats. It emphasizes the idea of embracing life's uncertainties and finding strength in that acceptance.
I'm 18 minutes into and I'm already sure that is the best interview I have ever seen. Made me comment, Thank you so much for letting us peak into such a beautiful brain. : )
All hail pokhraj Roy the omnipresent spirit of the youtube section. You are the sum of our opinions - good bad and ugly. We give you our likes, we give you our comments and hope to bask in your glory come the age of 6G.
Umm, the video has just begun and directly I'm thrown in to what might be the greatest achievement of surrealist cinema. Un Chien Andalou is a masterpiece of silent cinema.
the chick who made that Spotify playlist could really be of help here. all the recommendations given in this video compiled in one space would be awesome. Shreya right? that's her name no?
I’d give my left lung to work with Chalchitra. The energy this room must have had post this interview is enough to make me wanna come and work for you guys. And I am a little fanatic about books and movies.
I learned a lot, haven't seen any podcast of jim ,it was nice like jim says, how come vaibhav knows almost everything, so impressive. But i haven't seen anyone acknowledge that. Great interview man. Loved it
This is the best interview I have seen in recent history... Something is different in the conversations, maybe the pauses, content, or the content... It changed the way I look at movies...
I liked Jim before but now I get PTSD every time I look at him. He resembles my Ex so much in terms of Voice, attitude, how he moves, how he talks, tht thick eyebrows, curly hair & hand movements.😢😮
For the first time , I watched an interview and felt like I know nothing! Never heard most of the names or the recommendations, had to Google everything!a good learning experience. Thank you. ❤ nice
Why did this end? I was HOOKED. Religiously took notes about all movies, books, art. Oh man, thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks for this interview, team! Jim is amazing!
I’ve been an ardent follower of the channel, since 2019. I had been a member of the channel around 2021. Big fan of the consistency and dedication of Vaibhav, Sorabh, Vaani and Hindol at which they followed the slow build of their channel by regularly posting and hosting events and lives shows. I’m no more member for reasons known to me. But this channel will definitely remain close to my heart. Of all the interviews you’ve put. This goes on to the top 3 of the list. Very very very proud of guys. Also, as Neville would always tell about you guys, Thoda toh gaali Chalta hain. You guys are the nicest people but please censor anything, breaks the viewing rhythm. Teeny tiny suggestion from a small fan. ❤
Dropping a comment here as a proud early subscriber so as to be a part of the history. Piece of my heart to you guys, and to Jim, the myth that I look up to. PS: Slightly pissed that the secret of Insta caption song reccos is out in the world, but hey, more love his way. :)
Your channel is one of the most informative channel with a great humor touch If possible you can upload behind the scenes of this episode Would love to see that
Jim speaking about Dali. Oh god! I think I am never going to stop dancing out of happiness and all other recommendations which I am so privy to but uff! Finally. Get Dibakar Banerjee next. He is super well read.
25:56 Actually they did not censor it first it was fully uncensored but they changed the rating in India from A to UA. When it was A it was uncensored but then they turned it to UA and they censored it. So if they didn't do that it would still be uncensored but they just changed it to UA. Only because it was changed to UA I could watch it.
1:21:11 i think jim is talking about the promised neverland. The kids have huge heads and it is an anime series rather than a movie. But thats the closest i could think off.
This is the best interview ever by an Actor. Period.
Ever heard Vijay deverakonda speak
True❤
No.
Watch more interviews
Sorry sorry. Watch the one with Gulshan Devaiah
There is something just so attractive in the way he speaks. So engaging!

Jim Sarbh has that laid back stoner friend energy that you'd want to be around. Wonderful convo.
Stoners barely have these many facts bro.
Stoners don't know jack

Watch his interview at Asian paints where he is showing his home. He's so happy...
He's a walking talking encyclopaedia. Mind is blown by his knowledge and photographic memory

His voice, his aura, his personality just amazing ❤️
An episode with Kay Kay Menon please
It'll be difficult to get him I think, but will love to see him talk. Vijay Raaz as well.
It is like hoping for the impossible but I think he'll convince him somehow
Didn't KK die recently?
@@aamirkhan943 KK was a singer who died recently here we're talking about the actor Kay Kay Menon. Do check his movies he's a legendary actor
@@nickraghuvanshihe doesn't give interviews. Manoj Bajpai told samdish...
chalchita is slowly becoming the homework guide for even the bigger interviewers before they take their thing with the same artists.
there should be a movie starring sacha baron, jim sarbh and aadar malik.
I hope Jim and Sacha kill aadar in it.
Also Ashish Nehra
So you just mean to recreate the 3 spidermen pointing at each other scene into a movie !

Jim one of the finest actors. He needs more main character roles.
His best performance is in Rocket Boys. Just loved it. What a great acting.
Jim Sarbh's story telling is so awesome he just made the books alive
You know what, I felt like I was also part of the conversation sitting right next to you guys. That is precious! That. Is. Preciousssss!

I’m about 10 minutes into the interview and the best part is the interviewers reaction. Dudes getting lessons in art and tech at real time 😂
I love Jim Sarb, Binte Dil is the first thing that comes to mind when i see him.
Jim Sarbh is the best thing that has happened to Indian Cinema after SRK.Period.Chalchitra Talks keep slaying it!
Jim is the kind of person I would want to be friends with.
When you interview someone of his stature you need to be intelligent and well read. This is the only interview where he didn’t seem bored .
I'm not even kidding, I am making notes of all the gems I have yet to watch and Jim Sarbh's anecdotes as I am listening to this
