This will be one of my favourite episode from now till eternity The way they shared the knowledge through art was something to remember by I have very few podcast episode where I revisit but this one for some reason is getting it's more than half views from me
'An actor has 7 years where the camera romances them'. WOW. Distinct perspective, candid cuss, and thorough passion for art, this episode had all the checks. Thanks for this as always, team CCT!
Vir Has such a unique taste in everything. You expect him to say something mainstream and he'll just say something random that gives you perspective rather than what you wanted to hear . Great Episode !!!
Great call out on David Letterman. Because not many mainstream comedians in the US call him out on his extremely inappropriate behaviour. I'm very apprehensive about Louis CK after all that news came out about him. Loved this conversation. Vir Das is so incredibly intelligent and wise. Since I'm closer to him in age, I can relate to literally everything he says.
Anyone noticed that at 5.20 Vir made a very subtle comment with regards to the current state of journalism in such a light manner! First he calls the owner of Times of India group Vineet jain "Wo the", then corrects himself by saying " wo abhi hain, bus news gujar chuki hai" in such a nonchalant way displaying his razor sharp wittiness.
i just love this guy's perspective.. we need more such individuals in society.... Vir command on his language is so good that he can explain his thought process and simplify it.
The more we listen to Vir, the more we get to know him as a person. He is at peace with himself and his environment plus he is contributing to the society in his own special way. Our best wishes to him!!!!
24:55 There's a good Telugu film called Kanche (Fence) made on WWII talking about a small group among the 60,000 soldiers who were sent from India to fight.
To anyone who feels that Vaibhav is disinterested, it's not the case here. It's more like someone wiser or maybe not wiser but with a different perspective sharing their story. Very unusual from the usual ye show Dekha, vo show, ye acting but more of life and genuiness. And please note the age difference here like a 40-year-old trying to give a worldview to a 29-year-old. Especially the part when Vir talks about masculinity and that exchange of energy thing. To people our age we find stuff like this beautiful but when you grow up a bit you realize the importance of it. Also, Vir Das has this quality of simplicitaly explaining complex stuff and a distinctively unique perspective and he is not a person who pretends. So that is that. It's a great podcast. If anyone is willing to listen do listen and don't judge by the comments here. Make your viewpoint.
I like veer he is nice and honest and good at his work. And what he is going for other people I mean we need more people like him. I watch most of your podcasts. From Pakistan love from here keep doing great work
YESSS Indians need to understand this Dave Chappelle yahan ayega to 5 minutes m rone lagega You have to compare the audience first when you're comparing comics
Snape never loved Harry and didn't cared about him or James whether they died...he begged Dumbledore just because for Lily and he saved Harry because he sees Lily in Harry because he got his mother's eyes
recently discovered your channel and really wish to follow these podcasts religiously but your distractingly repetitive use of the word *like makes it very hard ..don’t know if anyone’s ever said this earlier but would really appreciate if you could improve on this going forward

why does he keep saying he is not smart enough. He seems more emotionally intelligent than most people

This is it. From now on this is what you'll forever want to recreate and probably fail to achieve....like a heroin addict. Best episode!

We named our dog Sirius Black :-)
In hacksaw ridge, Garfield is a pacifist, not a doctor. I guess he went as a medic.

1:04:19 me to bro
Okay so profanity in English is cool but in Hindi should be beeped?... Thanks for establishing that!
Anyways... Great podcast!
Subtitles 😢
Hopefully they add later.
KING KHAN😎🤩
Please, please, please, I am begging for subtitles in English lol. White person floundering here xD
bare minimum if the youth learns to hear full podcasts... you love or hate the guest.. it will at least allow them to inculcate patience in life.

In Dunkirk, there should be Indian soldiers, but they conveniently omitted them. I somehow think Nolan doesnot like Indians.
is it just me or does Vaibhav feel uninterested in this interview?
Vir not mentioning Kanan Gill is kind of an anomaly.
But trevor noah has brought on a lot of diverse guests! So kinda disagree there with him!
🩵
Bro, have eye contact with the guest while they are talking. Its just disrespectful. just a suggestion.
comment
Frankly i am a little disappointed
Baki ab to theek h but sadly vir das is not a comedian
