Barbara , I have often wondered about you. I met you and your friend in Flushing thru Mary Randall way back in the 1970's. Then again later on Clio Rd. We went to a "fish joint" on Pasadena Ave. Then years later, I went to work at Hurley and you were working there. You told me about them playing one of your songs on the radio and you called them and told them who you were. We lost touch after that. It was probably at least 30 years ago or better. I am so glad that you are again in the spotlight with your beautiful voice. I live in Clio, Mi and have been retired since 2001. God has blessed you !!!
TJs concerts on PBS are sensational. All the different modes of music back to the 50s-70s. I hope everyone reading this has seen it your local learning channel!
She is wonderful, whoever is Queen never loses her Majesty, I just don't understand why she is not among the Divas of American Black music equal Etta James, Gladys Knight and etc, that is so unfair. love you lady ❣
Barbra! I have been trying to see if there was a way to get ahold of you. My dad is Mike Owens and grew up hearing stories of his baby sitter that wrote some of her famous songs on their piano. He spoke with such pride about you! If your still near Salem I’d love to connect ❤
Still an amazing voice! A true legend😊
