I was a mailman in Los Angeles ,my first instructor believe it or not was Freddie Gorman ,what a nice man ,I came in late my first day and he was so cool ,He unfortunately was diagnosed with cancer and passed away two years later but he and his son cut a gospel tract ,I got one signed by him and his son ,I gave it to a friend for X Mas,RIP Freddie G .Cool man what a history !
I was in the same training class as Freddie, my postal start date was 2/22/82 at Bicentennial Station. This was Freddie's second time with the post office😊
