Don't ask questions. It makes you look like a bigot. I told my daughter that in so many words. If gender is a social construct and has nothing to do with biological sex, then there should be no need to have gender confirmation surgeries that involve mutilating ones genitalia to match ones gender identity.
I'm leaving a comment here in case someone can come up with an answer to that question, because currently I have no idea.

I went to see my doctor, whom I haven't seen in years. When I went to fill out the forms it had all the preferred pro-noun questions, (first time I've had so many options). I then determined that my pro-nouns are Thee Thy Thou, they are gender neutral and they can be plural or singular. It really is the best solution but more to the point, it drives the libs crazy because it sounds so Biblical. The 'dude' at the clinic tried to get me to change thy to they and use it rather than thou, but I wouldn't. They didn't think I could hear them talking and one of them said, "He's not taking it seriously so we should just change it". I went up to the desk and asked them what they were talking about and they denied it was me they were discussing. Later when my doctor came in, (he's treated my whole family for years so I know him well), he asked me what I had done to them? When I told him, he thought it was hilarious. I guess I had the front office in quite a stir.

This is so true. In my country, gender's definition in the teacher's national test is "it's a social construct not biological." If you don't get that right, you won't get your license. If you have a license to teach they can take that away from you.
They used to be called "gender stereotypes," but now people are adamant that it is somehow inherently biological but also not - at the same time! ("I was born this way"/"I was born in the wrong body"/"gender is a social construct")
I am surprised at the lack of precision in this definition. There are several meanings to the word "gender", one of which may fall into the category of those things considered( by proponents of social constructionism) to be "social constructs" but so does every religion, our entire language and even the value of money.
So saying gender is a social construct is just to put it in a niche academic category, not to explain what it is.

I do wish that English third-person personal pronouns were more like Turkish, in which there are no gender distinctions ("o" can man "he", "she", "it", or "that"). Gendered pronouns are just a useless vestige from when English still had grammatical gender.

I relate to this. My daughter went to a comedy show and was telling me about it. She kept saying "they" and I had to keep asking her who and how many people were on stage. I had so much trouble following my daughter's story. There was only one comedian present.

The time I spent in English class feels like a waste in light of recent events.
Not just coaches, but it is even worse for drama teachers who have to cast shows with many of these types of people.
I like how the coach - who was trying to comply with the litany of pronoun choices - breaks cover and reveals that - though he puts up a front of tolerance, he is actually cracking just under the surface.

One of my friends randomly started talking about someone that he dated and called them "they" and I was so lost for like 10 minutes until I figured it out through context that he was talking about another person. 🙃 The destruction of our language is immenent.

On Reddit (yea, I know) I was told that there's no logic to language from people who had no issues bowing down to the LGBT+ language movement.
