This is great, and really impressive! I also love all the microtones that somehow still sound good clashing against quantized notes, and end up just adding a lot of interest because they're unexpected
excellent work and it's really hard not to be impressed by your productivity these last few weeks! thank you for keeping up these beautiful researches, tracks and patches. great contribution to the community. loves from istabul
@@RickSanchez-dn6rd That's definitely my impression. I'm an Autechre fan, supposedly "EP7" from way back in 1999 was made entirely in Max (saying this without verifying it, and anyway I'm pretty sure they use it for everything they do now). I'm only a couple of months into using Ableton, but I'm sure I'll try Max eventually... in a couple of years maybe? Haha. Perhaps sooner.
@@Vingul You should dive in as soon as possible. Max is a great sound design tool so it will inspire and only add to your ideas in any DAW. Making visuals alongside the audio from the DAW is also great fun (midi out from one computer / DAW into another running Max). I need to just get back in there myself instead of spending so much time on VST stuff in Logic.
@@RickSanchez-dn6rd Cheers! Do you actually need to feed midi from one computer to another to create visuals in Max? Seems rather old-fashioned, like physically coupling two GameBoy Colors to trade Pokèmon. Lol. Silly comparison, of course..
@@Vingul Ah Gameboys with a cable between those were that days my friend :) Well I found running max and logic at the same time on one Mac a disaster even with the M1 chip. Only crashed this computer a few times and that was the biggest by far. So yep call me old fashioned but if I find a work around I tend to stick with it for a while. I think Max / Jitter can be heavy on the CPU / GPU.
Really cool. It’s impressive not only that you have made this project, but also that it’s really good music.
Truly impressive.

I’m not ready to delve into Max but this is hella dope.
It is wonderful, but huge, bloody intimidating and addictive. Amazing software.
