    Firstly, I want to thank you for your video very informative. Secondly, I want to highlight some points that they might be reason also for lost signal. 1) check all the screws attached to the motherboard MB are firmly tight and covering all the dotts around the screw. 2) make sure that all memory cards also firmly tight and follow the instructions on MB. 3) make sure that HDMI cable is completely inserted in the outlet of the graphic card. I hope🤞 you all have fun assembly of your PC'S. Good luck

    Can you please help me? I have Gigabyte z590 AORUS Elite AX motherboard and an Intel Core i5 10500 CPU. It has integrated graphics and on my motherboard I have only DP port. As I’m connecting it to my monitor through a DP to HDMI cable, I have no signal when I turn the PC on. Also I have a Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro RAM which is plugged in into second RAM slot on my motherboard. I have also tried two sticks of RAM in 2nd and 4th ports. It just won’t show me BIOS, completely no signal on my monitor while corresponding HDMI is selected in its settings. I have also tried with PCI express video card instead of integrated graphics on my Mobo, same results for some reason no video signal at all.

    • @MacCoyzkie
      @MacCoyzkie  2 года назад

      I got two theories. one, your monitor cable converter from dp to hdmi might just be faulty so try other cables if you got one or at least borrow from someone before buying a new one. Two, this might be your psu or power outlet not giving enough power for the system. Psu might be faulty so test it using a psu tester like this amzn.to/3mWD0np psu rarely becomes faulty even if its new but not impossible. Power outlet low power draw is usually caused by power fluctuation so if you got any power fluctuation lately you should consider that as a reason.

    I'm not sure if it is a compability issue since on pcpartpicker it says that some b550 motherboard's bios needs to be updated but on the box of my board it says that it specifically supports my cpu.
    I don't know what to do

    • @MacCoyzkie
      @MacCoyzkie  2 года назад

      The box basically informs you that it is compatible but some old stocks are not updated automatically since recent bios just got out.
      actually some pc stores update it themselves and some just don't care at all specially those online stores depending on the location where you are at.
      but before anything else, what are your pc specs?

    I had a couple of power surge from the socket in my room. It was displaying output fine before. But after a couple of power surge on the second day, the monitor shows no signal. My monitor works fine as I connected it with my game console. But my PC was running. All the led and fans were running. But no displays coming out from both the graphics card and the motherboard with the integrated processor. Could it be that the parts are now fried?

    • @MacCoyzkie
      @MacCoyzkie  3 года назад

      if you're not using avr or ups, the first component that will take that surge is your power supply. Assuming your power supply is 80+ certified, it will save all other parts except for itself. Some psu survive some doesn't which sometimes brings low power draw causing pc to not boot at all.

      it's ok bro we all learn things in the beginning. anyway did you plug your monitor in the gpu input, if so that should work and is ready to install windows. Also the common thing we often forget is plugging the 8+4pin psu power to the motherboard. So double check if those are plugged in, make sure the rams are correctly seated and it will have a click sound locking it in place if correctly seated

    Spend so many hours troubleshooting & finally I found the right video. I upgraded from a ryzen 5 1400 to ryzen 7 3700x & upgraded the power supply from 500w to 700w . I turn it on , all fans spin expect the graphic cards but the power is on & I notice I’m not getting any power to all my USB drives . So I came to the website motherboard compatible & it gave me a Red signal meaning is not compatible for ryzen 7 so I’ll need a new motherboard for sure .

      both should work (hdmi/dp) if its not working this is either the cables are faulty or the tv does not recognize the pc. Usually most tv nowadays recognizes pc whether be in dp or hdmi. For now i suggest borrow a monitor to confirm it

      and nothing but when I take my graphics card off and plug the DP in motherboard everything works fine. So what's the problem, it could be the graphics card or the two 8pin cable's or maybe something else? Thank you.

    • @MacCoyzkie
      @MacCoyzkie  3 года назад +1

      @@rey93100 plugging in the monitor in the motherboard's dp means that your gpu was not detected. Plug your gpu back and remove the cmos battery for at least 5mins and place it back again. (do this while grounded and pc is not plugged in any power outlet) then try powering your pc back. This should turn off the integrated graphics and will look for the gpu instead, some motherboard auto detects but some don't, maybe yours doesn't.
      anyway if this still doesn't work you need to try your gpu with other pc. if problem persist it is the gpu if not maybe it is the motherboard and i guess that will be the time you need to bring it to the local shop where you got your pc from. They'll fix it for free since it's newly build but i guess it's a different story if you got your pc parts online

    Hey man, just wondering I had a problem with my monitor due to installing the amd software and I was wondering if you might know what the problem might be, it says there is no signal and this only occurred after installing the software and restarting the computer which is my I don’t think it’s faulty parts etc. Everything turns on just fine just my monitor won’t and it says no signal, do you know anything that might help?

    My pc was working yesterday and I shut it off my pc like I normally do and this morning it wasn't giving a video signal, the pc is still turning on but it won't give a video, I've tried everything and it won't work. (I didn't do bios update due to your warnings)

    • @MacCoyzkie
      @MacCoyzkie  3 года назад +1

      if it worked before you really don't need a bios update. This happened to one of my builds before and i re-seated the rams and everything went well. Try removing and placing back the rams, also double check the connections in everything

    Fam. I’m one of those who put their display port on their mobo 🤣 I didn’t notice the GPU even had slots on the left. So happy it was just that & nothing complicated

    I have a build with:
    b450 pro carbon ac wifi
    ryzen 3600x
    All parts seem to be compatible but when i boot up leds and fans start spinning but no signal out the gpu (1660 super ventus).
    The debug led for cpu lit for around 10 seconds and than it turns off.
    Idk what to do, hope you can give me help

      this might be a low power draw, either from psu or your wall outlet. What is your psu watts?

    All my parts are compatible, I'm using the MSI MPG B550 Gaming Edge Wifi with the Ryzen 5600x. I know that some people have to update the BIOS, but my MOBO came with a sticker on the box that says it supports AMD RYZEN 5000 DESKTOP READY. Would you still recommend updating BIOS anyway? Could that still be a possible issue?

    • @MacCoyzkie
      @MacCoyzkie  3 года назад

      some pc stores even online are updating their mobos to latest so it will have better market. some just doesn't care at all, you need to contact the store where you got the motherboard from and ask them to confirm. because after building your pc then you see no signal on your monitor while it is plugged in the gpu port then that motherboard may not be updated

      @@MacCoyzkie Just throwing this out there in case someone reads through the comments with a similar question. It turns out it was just a BIOS update that was needed. The front of the box can be very misleading apparently.

    Hello, I have just built my first pc and through trial and error I managed to get it to turn on, however when I hook it up to my monitor I get "HDMI-1 V'20 NO SIGNAL" but I have my monitor connected to HDMI 1 and to my graphics card...I have done other things such as clean my Ram sticks, clean DIM slots, clean HDMI cable and hook it up to my room tv (we don't have another gaming monitor) and it still never sent a signal, I am starting to think it could be my graphics card but I dont really know...
