Hi. I'm one of the french horn players (two of us, I had the solo at the start) Our school brought two bands (other is wind ensemble). This is not my primary instrument. I'm a trumpet player primarily (also in wind ensemble). Band director needed another horn player. Students could be in both ensembles but couldn't play the same instrument in both.
