i play the alto sax and i have played this song multiple times on the flute and alto and it it very fun to play on both. i have been in band since 5th grade and i am now a sophomore in hs, still a personal fav
@@mochimochi3349I play tuba on the first half of the song until 121 then I go to bass trombone for the rest of the
Fuuuuuck, I remember playing this back in highschool band class. Such a fun song to play on Tenor Sax!
My first ever piece I worked on first day of high school!!!
Played this my freshmen year of high school, 2009 during football season. Cool to reminisce.
Oh my goodness … I remember playing percussion on this song ,back in 9th grade back in 1999.. sounds about the same , all those days in band class rehearsing this song came flooding back. Thanks for this !
I'm 8th grade playing baritone and we are going to play this for our spring concert
In 10th grade, second violin. Playing this- absolutely love
We were going to play this when I was in 8th grade but corona had to happen ugh but we are playing it for my freshman year
I loved playing this for our finale in HS 🥰 These kiddos played so wonderfully! Trumpets were perfect!
We played this in high school back in 2005. They sound great. I played flute so of course I’m gonna say woodwinds are the best.
Played this in 7th grade, good times
Our wind band sings this song. I'm a trombone and I really enjoy this song.
5:05 The trombone sheet music says: 'Pick a note' I really like this part. It's really exciting and fun
I’m in 7th grade playing the flute and this is one of our songs, I definitely love it b it it’s just soo hard
1:59 that tuba part hit hard tho-
ONG
i play the flute and i'm in 8th grade and i recently found this song and i'm making my dad order me the sheet music
Alyson with a 'y' I dont think Mr Smith knows that low brass plays the same note for a few measures then rest 😭 We need to have something challenging because my part is easier than most middle school level trombone parts
Alyson with a 'y' True But No One Will Notice Us But Luckily I Was On Percussion For This Song Since I Play Both Xylophone Part Is Fun
4 years later how's life going?
Just started learning this and as a Bari sax player not even remotely used to my part being the way it is
I feel the same exact way man it’s real hard
exactly! low bass line finally gets the melody
Played this sophomore year in highschool. Won competition with it.
That was PERFECT!!!
I love this song. Gonna ask director if we can play this
This is amazing
I’m playing this song in my band class
May Robert W Smith rest in peace 🕊🕊
theyre playingn this in highschool and im here in middle school playing this and im struggling so hard 😭😭
Played this shit in 7th grade as a trumpet and damn it was tough
Cant believe I played french horn part in 7th grade
Great job saxes, even though I play bass clarinet, but great job to all the instruments, even the double bass, whatever it plays, lol
I'm the only euphonium that can play in my band.... that's the difference
Same but I’m the only French horn that can play
I want to learn the melody em at some point in the trombone
Play the flute or oboe part trombone, oboe, and flute all play in C meaning they have the same notes
ik 1:46 wasnt it for them
and 1:51
Is that a Piccolo and an oboe?
a piccolo and a bass clarinet.
1:46 2:03
Played this in 7th grade got superior ratings! This band has lots of mess up's from the woodwinds (cringe) brass was really good here hats off to them
Fucking incredible
Is it just me or did the percussionist in the back with the pipes do literally nothing?
They played 3 songs in their set. One of the other songs required the tubular bells.
Terrible finish. The last note is a triple forte(fff) not metzo forte
Jake Zuloaga It's fine,not a big deal
You think that that was metzo forte?? Ahahaha
Its actually called Fortississimo. You try playing it.
L low voices
