I opress people by living my life as an avergae earner when i could give more away but atleast i can admit it. I could give 'x' amount to charity to impove thir situation but Eddie could do so much more himself. Hes the new DON KING . Listen to what he says and not how he says it. Already annoyed how much he is interrupting and not allowing the conversation to flow.
It's an interview, not a speech. What you call interruptions are just a reminder to be succinct otherwise the person interviewed would ramble on without realising it.
Tavernum no, he just had an annoying habit of cutting Hearn off when he was saying something interesting. He also tried way too hard to involve himself, rather than the person he is interviewing.

Impressed by Eddie - in a world of deception & misdirection - always found him very candid. Easy to shoot holes in any promoter and their honesty but he has changed boxing and is largely forthright. The admission his main drive was to outperform his Dad showed admirable honesty. Equally, he has massive thighs or Alastair needs some vitamin d. Hope Dec 1st gave EH & AJ a rethink - TysonFury was more inspirational than entertaining. It takes more than fancy fireworks.

Absolutely fantastic interview. What insight. So true what he said about needing a mouthpiece. Wilder needs a mouthpiece. He's good himself, but he needs extra support.
In the run-up to the Iraq War, Campbell was involved in the preparation and release of the "September Dossier" in September 2002 and the "Iraq Dossier" (or "Dodgy Dossier") in February 2003. Imagine Muhammad Ali today, a billion people were tuning into his fights; there will never be anyone greater in terms of boxing, selling boxing, making boxing ‘sexy’; he had the whole world talking about him.
Eddie Hearn on his dad's view on Brexit, "He would rather total control of uncertainty, than no control over something that was a little bit more certain."
Boxing aside, that was a very good quote on Brexit and this pleases me as I have been very political for a decade and love boxing as well.

@@tottenhamhotspurish I think his fighters would disagree. If your promoter doesn't force his fighters outside their comfort zone or at least give them risky opportunities, then they'll just plateau and fade into oblivion. Like Haymons PBC stable that has disintegrated.

Alistair Campbell comes off really badly here at the start of this interview. Very judgmental, 'Do you like money?' 'Why don't you have a posh accent if you went to a private school' etc. Eddie is an independent businessman, Campbell like his Labour chums (I'm no tory either btw) hate people with success and money and dont' mind telling you. It's sickening how they boil everything down to class in privilege rather than judging someone on who there are themselves

@@nicholasjohn7964 yep agreed. and this whole 'silver spoon' thing can be nonsense at times. yes, if for example, Eddie had been given a trust fund worth tens of millions and he sat on his backside and perhaps even squandered the money being an idiot then he's a spoilt silverspooner. But taking on and heading an already successful business and transforming it, growing it, expanding and revolutionising it is a totally different story. Not to mention the pressure that comes with that seeing as it's your Dad's legacy.

Hearn is a brilliant promoter bus his recent comments about the fury/wilder fight probably not going ahead and not selling tickets were disrespectful.
