Jesus christ. It makes so much sense now why my hair often looks like I didn't wash it and get's oily quickly.
It's low porosity and the products I use are too havy. Bruh but I don't wanna waste them.🙃

Do I need to throw the wrong products?
Oil , serums , and leave in conditionars are important ! You only have to use them in the right way , serum is usually for scalp .. so it usually lighter , unless if it was for split ends and breakage you gonna use them for the mid till the end of your hair , dont use too much , neither too little. Use a little amount of hair oil for the mid till the end to prevent breakage and split ends .. if wanna use it for your scalp then consider washing it after 4 hours or less. You want to use leave in conditionar without touching your scalp! Because that may leads to buildup the product on your scalp and then you may get hair loss.
I have low porosity hair too and I think leave in conditioner works better for my hair as compared to normal conditioner .. so I use leave in conditioner in place of normal conditioners and my hairs are long also so that works better in my option and serum oils are even important.. this is my observation of nearly 2 years of experience with this routine in my hairs and they are doing great + I've noticed light oils like jojoba almond are best scalp
I have low porosity hair, I use conditioner before shampoo as a hair mask, it works really well, literally minimum hairfall.
oh my gaawd i almost had a stroke watching you rub your hair like that please don't do that ever 😭,,and if you wanna use oils ,,use argan ,jojoba oils which are not thick and use water based leave in conditioners,and a shampoo that will help you get rid of build up

To clarify your hair. Use. Clarifying shampoo darl, you cabt get rid of buildup. Cause you need the products that cause build up, so just eliminate them before the build up occurs, and put them back on. Ik that seems stupid but when yiu find the right products for you *porosity* (the most important) and you hair type, you'll learn just so much about your hair
Suggest some hair serums for low porosity hair
i have low porosity hair and i use hair serums just make sure you wash them out and dont leave them in to long
@gia29392 it did nothing if you wash it off after a short time. Low porosity means it takes longer to absorb.

i use to oil my scalp with coconut oil and it lead it scalp build up and later i relised i hv low porosity hair. I stop oiling my scalp and it got so much better. So people coconut or any heavy oil might not be ur solution. Personalise ur routine!!!

Then wht to use instead of a leave in conditioner??...bcz my low porosity fine hair gets dry within 2 days of hair wash and it's really hard to find a well conditioning product that doesn't ways the hair down 🥲

you can use.. jojoba hair oil, rosemary hair oil.. mainly it's oil which nourish our hair, shampoo just clean our hair.. these oils and you can search . other oils hope this will help you. i also have, low porosity hair, i had do alot of research on these things

i think you can, I'm also low porosity hair type, when I step in shower i often use warm water at first and I put conditioner after i wet my hair with warm water, I rest the conditioner for 5 mins and after that I rinsing off my conditioner with cold water
Yes, I also use cold water at the very end of my shower. I rinse everything with warm water before but I've found that putting cold water at the very end has helped me a lot with greasiness. I have low porosity, thin, fine hair and it gets greasy SUPER fast. So putting cold water at the end of shower made it less greasy and also makes it more shiny!🌟 idk if it's good for the hair but it feels better for me.
U use leave in conditioner or the strands any ways do how will it look luke product nuildip specially if u have dry hair
