    This is a nice, easy recipe. Thank you for posting it. It seems similar to a sourdough starter that I feed and use for yummy sourdough bread a few times a week.
    Here in the USA, people have been buying and hoarding the commercial jars of yeast. Your recipe solves the problem of no jars of yeast at the stores.

      Yeast is a fungus => used in bread dough
      Lactobacillus is a bacteria => used in curd
      By using curd this video is making sourdough...

    Thank you so much for this video. I have tried it and the result was unbelievable. It is working and the bread is so soft way better and healthier than the store bought one. It smells good too. I have stored the way you have explained, it last for 10 days. Worth trying ❤️

    This video was helpful but I made a modification. I didn't use curd (also known as yogurt); just all purpose flour, sugar and honey. By day two or three on the counter, it had a very nice sour smell with bubbles on top.
    Not wanting to waste flour if things turned out wrong, I used a quarter cup of this mixture with a cup of flour and turned out a fantastic piece of bread with a mild sourdough taste. The loaf will be bigger next time.

    This video definitely clarified something’s I needed to know🤗 I have a few questions, do you have to use curd or is there something I can substitute? Also can it be used after fermenting for 12-20 hours or do you have to wait longer?

    • @DianzzParadize
      @DianzzParadize  4 года назад +5

      Hi dear,
      definitely we can do without curd , curd is added to make the fermentation process quick , can do with only honey ,flour and water . It might take little longer than 20 hours for the results . You can start using after 20 hours or once you see nicely fermented batter, you can start using ,that will work .

    I have a query regarding feeding of this yeast. Do I need to take it out from refrigerator, then add flour n water as u mentioned to the cold yeast, or shall I bring it to room temperature before feeding?
    And also after feeding the yeast do I need to keep it in warm place like first time for 18to 24 hours, then place it back in the refrigerator?
    Sorry for this long post, but please explain....I m bit confused 😐

    • @DianzzParadize
      @DianzzParadize  4 года назад +5

      Hi , for feeding you can use it directly from the fridge cold one and add flour and water...after feeding leave it on the counter for 3 4hours initially to chk every time if the yeast is still active or not ...by then it will bubble up and then you can put it back to fridge ...it won’t take longer than 4 hours ...the older the yeast will be ,the lesser it will take to ferment ...hope your doubt is cleared 😊

      In the video I used 1/8th cup measure yeast, flour and batter... 😊. You can use whatever measure you will need for your next recipe just that all 3 should be in same quantity . Plastic chalega...metal se fermentation nahi hoga ,metal se ulta asar hoga process pe ...plastic try karo ya ceramic bowl hai to vo bhi use kar sakte hai ....keep in dark and warm place ...microwave ya kitchen cabinat me bhi rakh sakte hai ....agar kapde se cover kar rahe hai to bowl ko completely wrap karke rakhe ..

      U can use it anytime once they are nice bubbling and frothy...after one feeding wait untill they bubble up again (till then keep it outside the fridge itself) then u can start using it 😊

      Hi Sabr,
      You can make without yogurt , with just honey water and flour.
      Add a tbs more of honey itself, that will work.
      I have an updated video on “all about homemade yeast”
      Kindly watch that for more details (link is available in the description)😊

      To check the yeast ,
      feed them once and check how long it’s taking to ferment or bubble up , accordingly you can get an idea if the yeast is active or not 😊
      Also ,on the day when you are preparing the recipe do not feed them , it has to be fed the day before.
