Now make yeast at home, an alternative to Dry/Instant yeast available in market. Soon I will post a video on homemade dry yeast also. For making this yeast you need only 3 ingredient easily and routinely available at home. Yeast can be used to make bread, burger buns, pizza base, naan, pav , even to ferment Appam batter and making wine. Yeast brings good texture and fragrance to the food You can easily store and maintain this homemade yeast as well. I myself prefer making Yeast at home, instead of buying it from the marketplace. For any queries drop a comment I will try to answer those in my next video on homemade Yeast.
Here are the ingredients required to make:
Warm water - 1glass
Sugar - 2tbs
Honey - 1/4tbs
All purpose flour (Maida) - 1/2cup
Curd (Yogurt)- 3tbs (not to use sour one)
