Lisa's explanation of the trial testimony was amazing, but I wonder how much of the testimony will be remembered and understood by the jury weeks from now when the gather to decide if Trump is guilty of 34 felonies. This is a tough case to really understand in legal terms.

34 counts of committing business record fraud to cover up that Trump was reimbursing Cohen for payments made to Daniels to stop her from printing her story. That's a misdemeanor, but because it was done in order to conceal information from the voting public, which is election interference, those misdemeanours are made felonies. The payments also constitute campaign finance violations as an in-kind contribution.
