RSPCA approve all sorts of heinous things. These slaughterhouses and farms hitting animals get barely even a tap on the wrist when exposed. Even supported by RSPCA to commit blunt forced trauma/swing an animal by the legs against concrete to kill them…

Sounds like my own rationalization a decade ago. Fortunately, I took some time time to examine my beliefs. Also, the vegan community articulated the existential dilemma graphically on film and in conversation. There is a certain amount of fear in such a dietary transition. Those of us who have transformed ourselves of course find it relatively simple after perhaps a year or so. We have less nightmares and more moral integrity.
Go David! You, Joey, Paul Bashir, Dr. Faraz Harsini and Natalie Fulton (have her on your show!) are my absolute faves at outreach. Pull no punches, direct, common sense, don't put up with bullshit.

Someone with the lack of concern for suffering like him should be a worry to everyone.
Its called selfishness and purposely staying ignorant for taste and convenience and not caring enough to change their cruel habits. I have many people in my own family who are all decent loving kind people who do not care about the animals who suffer and die for their selfish pleasures. I am so glad that i made the change nearly 13 yrs ago and went vegan for ethical reasons.
@@ruthsmith1694 tbh, it's not even about taste or convenience either. I eat exactly the same curries, pizzas, breakfasts, stews, soups etc that I ever did. Just that instead of things like minced meat I use lentils or a meat alternative, vegan cheeses are fine now. I'd actually say, I became more of a foodie than I was before. When it comes to convenience in the supermarket or eating out, I can't remember the last time I struggled with anything.

Yeah, funny how they've never managed to produce footage of any different form of practice in the meat industry.
And yet when it comes to pretty much any other industry, people are extremely critical and vigilant. For example if a company is found to have some sort of corruption, you can bet there will be outrage. But when it comes to the meat industry, barely anyone gives a shit and simply pretends like it's a non-issue. And they say vegans are the ones being selective...

I admire and respect all the animal activists who go out of their way to educate with the truth. I have been an ethical and healthy vegan for nearly 13 yrs( i am nearly 69), and none of my family over the yrs ( i have 3 grown up sons) have done the same except my close friend who went and stayed vegetarian and one of my three sisters went veggie. Its great to see male vegan activists educating and informing people with the vile and cruel industries which have brain washed and conditioned us all for many many decades now. To plant a truth seed is essential in life and it is how we have made progress and advanced over time. I have had many many discussions with my family over the years about the cruel and vile meat dairy and egg industries but it all falls on deaf ears and their reluctance to change. Its very frustrating and upsetting to think that i have not managed to influence and educate anyone in my own family and probably never will. Education done in the right way as in activism on the streets and in schools/colleges, is very important and the truth about the farming industries need to be shown and taught, and the earlier the better so that the younger generation can teach the older ones how to live better and kinder lives. Well done to all the truth tellers of this world.

You do realise as a species, we require animal protein and fat and cholesterol? I was WFPB vegan for 10 years until I got very very ill. Changed it up to a lot of meat and then very near carnivore… boom. I feel like I did back in my 20s. Energy, muscle, gut health, sleeping etc. all come back. Snoring stopped in first week. So, this vegan thing is nonsense. It’s all feelings and guilt trips. Would you tell a koala to stop eating gum leaves coz you believe they shouldn’t eat gum trees? Meat is what we need as a species
@@amac5224 There are around 80 million vegans on the planet, doing just fine, most of us make it through the day without fainting from protein deficiency. Maybe if you had gone vegan for the animals, not for your health, you may have been more invested in it and tried a bit harder to make it work.

There would be no reason the average meat-eating person doesn't want to see what happens to animals. There is no reason why anybody would care in the slightest that they are "killed nicely".If "meat" is what we "need" as a species, every single meat commercial would show slaughterhouse footage as it would stimulate the appetite of this supposed genetic, obligate meat-eating species that you claim humans to be, thus increasing sales....but for some reason they don't do that. Meat is a human choice. Meat eaters made their choice to eat meat, but they were not born meat eaters.
As infants they were fed a diet of meat by their parent’s choice and then as a child they were told to eat a diet of meat by their parent’s choice. Once they grew up and became adults, they chose to continue their programmed diet of meat. This was not a part of their human nature, nor was it a part of their instincts, this is part of their human ability for selective processing and decision making.
