      Yea I might do something once it warms up. I have been thinking about switching to mountain bike brakes so I might do one more on this.

      @@MarleyJaxGarage mountain biking is where it’s at if you live close to decent mtb trails. Electric mountain biking is cool too if your area allows ebikes on trails.
      For a mixture of both look up Luna x2 or Surron.

    Hey man thanks for the video tutorial series you made on the mx650l! alll three of your videos are very informative amd exactly what i was looking for as i just bought 2 of them from Craigslist that im gonna be doing t some the same or very similar upgrades as youve done so your tutorials so you gave me some good ideas and they will be a huge help to me. I must say though i really would love to see a fourth video added to the series were you show the upgraded bike in actiom as well as hearing your thoughts on how ach upgrade works and possibly some specs on the ttop speed and battery life as well as what you think of the finished product as a whole.

    Great video. I’ve noticed the rear shock is currently unavailable. Do you know of another one that would work? Thanks.

      Any mountain bike shock will work. Just make sure the ends are the correct width.

    What kind of drill set do you recommend to buy if you are going to be working on a mini-emoto and have no tools?

    Great videos! Are you happy with the throttle? I've seen mixed reviews. Does you know if it works with stock controller and 48v Lithium battery?

    • @MarleyJaxGarage
      @MarleyJaxGarage  2 года назад +1

      Yea I have learned how to control the throttle much better. I also usually start on the lowest setting and switch to the highest once I am moving which helps a lot. It’s really all about practice and just getting used to it. The three speed throttle will not work with the stock controller since it doesn’t have the 3 speed wiring. I have seen people over volt the stock controller and motor without having too many issues but if you upgrade the motor it usually comes with the controller.

    I know you're probably done, but any chance you'll be doing dropped footpegs? Goes against the ground clearance, but should help make it more adult sized.

    • @MarleyJaxGarage

      I like having the ground clearance but I did see someone else get a different seat that raised the height up 2 inches which would be nice.

    is there anyway you can add a key switch and maybe make a video about it.

    • @MarleyJaxGarage
      @MarleyJaxGarage  2 года назад

      A key switch could be added very easily. All you need to do is wire up a 2 wire key switch to the e-lock where I wired in the second switch. There would be no difference, you could get one like this www.amazon.com/dp/B0118LT2U8/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_api_glt_i_T38WE2316E7Y7YEFARK4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1.

      Any ideas on what you would like to see done to it? I was thinking maybe a brake upgrade but not sure what else.

      @@MarleyJaxGarage it wouldn't be too much of a performance upgrade, but it would be cool to have the charging port where the 'gas' cap is on the top, you could also spray paint the frame, add a speedometer, so many fun things to do. :)
      Also, do you think cops would be an issue while riding on a sidewalk of a main road? It says Razor, so I would assume that it is legal (as long as they don't see the battery 😉) I would use it as my commute to my job, rather than a car.

    total cost of all upgrades please

    • @MarleyJaxGarage
      @MarleyJaxGarage  2 года назад

      Not sure exactly but I would guess around 500. The battery is the biggest expense as well as the motor/controller. You can look at the links in all my videos for prices.
